2.Dogs A- Permitted on Leash: We understand that many campers enjoy bringing their furry babies along for the adventure. Dogs are welcome at our campground, but they must be on a leash or a run. The fields have some groundhog holes, and we would be devastated if your dog was running and broke a leg if a leg slipped in a hole. We just want them safe.
B- Awww poop! Alot of people use the camping area as a barefoot area so please clean up their poop.
3. Quiet time after 10PM: This just means no screaming. Play your guitar and sing until the sun rises if that makes you happy.
4. Alcohol: We would prefer you skip the drinks and just get high, but if your soul needs a drink please drink responsibly. (Don't be that guy)
5. Yurt comes down the end of September for rental.

This spot is best for a van camp location but plenty of space for tents and hammocks. You'll find a drive-up deck if you wish to park there. Firewood is available providing you use downfalls as kindling in the stone fire pit. A 8x20' deck and picnic table are 20 feet from the fire for stargazing. When the ferns are full grown they are 3 feet tall and everywhere. A 10 minute walk takes you through a dense pine forest with large rock formations and a nice creek with many gurgling fall areas. If there looks like a cave amongst the large rocks, then it probably is a bear den.
There is a lot to do near by. Some note worthy locations :
Cranberry Glade Lake (good for kayaking or fishing), Ohiopyle, 7 Springs, Fallingwater, Living Treasures, Caddie Shak, and Hidden Valley are all about 25 minutes away. This property also borders Laurel Ridge State Park.

We had a great time on Jim’s property. We set out to do a winter campout using our hot stove tent but the weather had other plans! We still used the stove at night, but the weather during the day was unseasonably warm and gorgeous. The wooden deck was a great spot to set up our camp kitchen and we enjoyed some smash burgers under the stars.
The site felt very private and was a great place to chill after spending the day hiking in Ohiopyle (only about 25 minutes away). Would highly recommend this site. Thanks, Jim!

Nice and quiet and secluded. Firewood was there. It was a cold night and was able to setup my tent no problem and park onsite. Directions to site were accurate. Note there is no phone service there, which was not an issue. Had the best night of sleep Ive had in years.

This is a great spot to tent camp under the trees, enjoy a campfire (with firewood supplied!), and stargaze at a relatively secluded spot. The hike down to the creek is beautiful! I would definitely return to this spot.

There was plenty of open space to create our own setup, we were far enough away from the city and close enough to Ohio Pyle to go hiking Saturday morning. Maggie was incredibly responsive and helpful when planning for our weekend. We will definitely be back.

Had a wonderful experience at Laurel Highlands! Maggie is a super friendly and attentive host, and the space was perfect for our needs. It’s not as tucked away as some other campsites we’ve been to, but that did not dampen the experience at all. It’s a bit elevated from the surrounding area and it was really cool to see the fog roll into the lower elevations at night. Some of the space is on a slight incline but it did not affect our ability to find a good spot for our tents or placement of our cots. I will definitely be planning to return again!

The campsite was a little tricky to drive back to. Definitely a job for an SUV. That being said, once we pulled up it was nothing but fall leaves, green ferns and dense trees all the way around. Fire wood and a fire pit as promised. Perfect spot for our tent, camp chairs and the all important camp potty. We took our pup and had no issues whatsoever. It is a beautiful site. On Saturday we made our way to Ohiopyle for some hiking. We had a great time. I would definitely recommend this HipCamp.

Wonderful Space removed from the road. Public Winery right across the street. Wildlife from wild turkey to Red tailed hawks were all around us. Hammock camping worked out well, but 4-6 Person tents also fit the deck quite well. I will be back!

Beautiful land with lots of ferns and hemlock. It was the perfect base camp for us to hike the Laurel highland trail and visit the nearby winery. We enjoyed the short hike down to the creek.

This was our second time staying here, and it was just as wonderful as the first. The privacy is something you just can’t get at a state park, and our dog loved having the space to run around. We cooked a camp meal, relaxed by the fire, and enjoyed the peaceful setting. Part of us wants to keep this place a secret, but it’s too good not to share!

Great Hosts, Great Communication!
Stayed for 2 nights and the property is very clean and well kept. Plenty of fish in pond, Large Mouth Bass, Striped Perch, and Blue Gills.
No cell service so you can unwind. Had a peddle boat for use, be we didn’t try it. Heard Coyotes in the evening. It was a wonderful weekend. Highly Recommend.

What a great site ! Jim was fantastic it was our first time using Hipcamp and everything was a positive experience. Any questions I had Jim would answer right away. Site has a deck a fire pit and lots of spots to pitch a tent. And a great spot for truck or van camping as well. Nice and quiet and peaceful. Lots of trails and places to hike and explore. Also it’s really nice to find a place that is dog friendly. And the site was clean. Very clean and well kept. Lots of wildlife around. And nice and quiet and dark at night.
Spot has really nice tree coverage and lots of shade and protection from wind and rain. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. We didn’t want to leave lol.
This site is close to just about everything in the area.
We’re not the type that likes to camp in campgrounds with people next to you. We like our privacy and peace. We were offered firewood but it was so nice out we didn’t need one. But has a great fire pit.
Jim was fantastic couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Just a lovely spot we will definitely be back. And we highly recommend this site.

Jim’s land provided lots of space & privacy. We had a large, 6 person tent, a shower house, a hammock, and filled the provided deck with all our kitchen items. We highly recommend a stay!
