Seven Feathers has 6.5 acres with several wildflower and herb gardens, along with a small fruit Orchard! Our property is close to Allegheny River access with a local boat ramp in Reesdale, and a fishing pier at Lock 8. From here, you can take the locks all the way to Pittsburgh.
Several ATV trails have easy access because you can legally ride on the township roads! A lot of wildlife to see, including deer, bear, fox, coyote, several bird species, and bald eagles. We're close to State Gamelands for hunting. You're welcome to eat any fruit that has ripened here during your stay.
The miles of ATV trails are also fun to hike or ride your horse on. Campfires allowed, leashed pets allowed, must be leashed at all times, dogs, cats, and horses. Bring your pets! There is a spring with potable water on the property. Beautiful sunsets here, plus an amazing view across Reesdale Road. You might catch a rainbow too if it rains! Our personal favorite view is the vast nighttime sky. Perfect place for stargazers. Watch the beautiful sunrises and "moon-rises" over the tree tops.
You can run generators anytime, but please be considerate of other campers. Very Private location. There is a bar/restaurant close by in Adrian. It's 10 miles to downtown Kittanning, where festivals and concerts in the park are held, plus more restaurants, stores, and rails to trails for bike riders. There are fishing ponds and large glacial rock formations nearby.
Tours to the places mentioned can be scheduled for a fee if we're available. We will have a small map of the area with places marked. You're welcome to cut and use fallen trees. Please don't bring firewood from other counties due to the spread of diseases and destructive insects. Welcome to Seven Feathers, where you can just relax or partake in the recreational activities. Very easy to find, well kept, quiet campsite by the creek. Though the weather was quite cold, I really enjoyed my stay at Muddy Myst. The trails were easy to navigate and the pond was beautiful! Can’t wait to come back in the warmer months for a dip!!
Can’t thank you enough Liam enough for the complimentary coffee- much needed after waking up in 30 degrees!!!

This was our first stay at Muddy Myst after looking at it on Hipcamp for a while now! With the state parks closing it was the perfect time to try this place out, and it was amazing!! The hosts were amazing and made us feel right at home! Falling asleep listening to the creek all night was also amazing. Will definitely be back!!

Nice, off-the-beaten-path campground with lots of ammenities, clean restrooms, and a wonderful community “HUB” for relaxing and getting connected. The only downside to our stay was that the site we picked (hard to see online what you might be next to…) was very close to a long-term camper who’s living space was about a foot away from our sewer dump. Made dump time a bit awkward. Otherwise, a very quiet and peaceful location that I’m sure will prosper in the coming years. Would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our camping experience at Muddy Myst. There was a ton of helpful information provided before our arrival and more available in the common area. The site felt private yet the common area and restroom were easy to access. I was particularly impressed with the extra touches, fall flowers on our picnic table, very nice soaps and air freshener in the impeccably clean bathroom, and a helpful space to clean up some dishes and get some hot water for cocoa in Hank's Hangout. This site is maintained lovingly.

We stayed at campsite 95 and it felt really private. The Hub was also really useful to get a little work done that came up last minute. It did feel a little more RV park-y than I was expecting, but between all of the incredible amenities and how lovely our actual campsite was I didn't mind at all. Definitely Recommend!

Liam’s site was absolutely beautiful. The common areas were very clean and well stocked. The property was well maintained and easy to navigate. There were a lot of very thoughtful extra touches, even providing books in the common area, we got to read Bluey’s Camping book as a bed time story! The campsites are far enough apart that you feel like you have the whole place to yourself making for a very peaceful getaway. The pond and pool were clean and the kids had a blast swimming all day. This is a site that we will definitely keep coming back to!

Our summer isn’t complete without a visit to Muddy Myst. It’s already become a milestone spot for our daughter; she’s been here at six months and again at 1½ years, which says a lot about how connected and convenient this campsite is.
The setting is peaceful and private, with space to roam, try a little kayaking in the pond, and even enjoy the pool. The hosts are thoughtful, and the clean shared amenities, along with a stack of shared books, make it easy to stay here with a little one.
Muddy Myst blends quiet, nature, and comfort in a way that keeps us coming back. It’s not just camping, it’s where our family’s summer memories are made.

We really enjoyed our stay. Liam was very responsive through the app and a very gracious host along with his Mom who was in person at the house. Their WiFi was good around the common area so we could contact them if need be. All 3 sites were filled on the 2nd day and the bathroom was kept clean. Only note to our specific site is if you use the fire pit, be sure to bring a shovel as it is the furthest away from the common area. Ours was filled to the top with ash. We got some amazing pictures at our site and it had very good shade with the hot weather. Will definitely consider staying again!! :)

This place was the getaway I needed : private (with only a few other campers present), dog friendly, serene and a gorgeous place to set up a tent. You do feel like you're doing some primitive camping, but with thoughtful and modern amenities 100 feet away, such as a lovely bathroom/shower and a common area stocked with coffee, teas, games and a little library. We took advantage of using the kayaks on the pond and walked some of the trails. It is now my favorite place to camp!

We had such a wonderful stay at this campground! The campsites were incredibly spacious, giving us plenty of room to spread out and relax without feeling cramped. The staff were so friendly and welcoming.
One of the standout features was how beautifully maintained the grounds were—lush greenery, clean facilities, and everything clearly cared for with pride. It really made the whole experience more enjoyable.
The location is fantastic—peaceful and scenic, yet just a short drive from tons of great local attractions, restaurants, and activities. Whether you're into biking, hiking, or exploring local spots, there's no shortage of things to do nearby. Highly recommend the Route 66 Country Trail and a stop at Lost In the Wilds Brewing.
We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend this campground to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-kept place to stay!
