The cabin is located on my now husband's family property. They raise beef cattle, corn, oats, and hay, and have owned the land since the 1930s. Our hilltop is beautiful, but we may be biased! It is generally quiet and we have wonderful sunrises and sunsets. The view from the porch overlooks agricultural land and it's not rare to see deer grazing near sunset. Relax by the fire or explore the adjacent PA State Game Lands on foot or bike. Boat and fish the Allegheny River that's a short drive from the cabin.
The cabin does not have electricity or running water. Firewood, indoor heat, electric lanterns, and an outhouse are available for guest use. Minimal AT&T and Verizon cell service.
In winter an AWD or 4WD vehicle is recommended to access the cabin.

Founded in 1955 as a campground, amusement park and pay to fish lake, lake lucy has a rich history of having families spending time together.
After the death of lake lucys founder Raymond Mealy in 2007 the amusements and train were all removed as well as the zoo.
The Steinman family purchased the property in 2017 and began remodeling the pavilion and putting in water and sewer lines to be able to use the campground and pavilion again.
It has been a place for the Steinman and Mealy families and friends
to enjoy for the last few years and we felt it was time to once again welcome the public to enjoy our property!
We currently have 11 sites with full hookups (water, sewer, electric(50/30/20amp).
The campground water will be turned off November 10th due to freezing temperatures. We will still have electric and sewage hookups available.

Campers can fish, bike, swim at lake lucy. They will have access to both ponds. Top pond has bass and have caught bass over 20 inches with the largest being 23 inches and over 8 pounds. Both ponds have bass, crappie, perch, bluegill, and carp. We are within a few miles of a dollar store if any supplies are needed, a gas station is at the end of the road and we are only a few minutes from cook forest as well as the tionesta reservoir. Water is available on site for campers and campers can use the bath house. In the bath house there is 1 full bathroom with a shower and the other bathroom is just a half bath. Quiet and peaceful, come relax and enjoy time with your family at lake Lucy!
we are also conveniently located close to the bike trail near clarion as well as the bike trails in cook forest and oil creek state park. If you like to ride your e bike or mountain bike we are centrally located for a great biking trip!

Angelica NY is just a few miles up the road, where you will find cute antique shops, dollar general, post office, gas etc.
We love our little slice of private water side camping here in Angelica and hope you will take care of it like it was yours. Please no carving of names or dates in any structure, do not cut or chop down any living tree or vegetation. Our property has a lot of walnut trees- watch for falling nuts come late summer and fall! No dumping or putting anything down pit except toilet paper!

Was even more beautiful than the first time go to all of the colors of the trees.
Brian is a great host and whatever around checking the car hall I was pulling to make sure everything was secure since my husband was not with me this time.

Brian's land was truly an oasis on this trip. A beautiful spot by a quiet pond, this pristine campsite gave me the rest and beauty I needed. Our family had a fantastic stay at Creekside on camp road. The cabin so nice and very very clean. The site had more than enough seating for our large family and areas for us to set up tents. The outhouse was well maintained well lit at night. The creek was just perfect for our 7 year old to play in the water and even watch some deer go by. Leah was incredibly attentive and answered any questions we had right away. We will definitely be back.

The location is great, quiet, and convenient. There are a ton of accommodations from comfortable seating, campfire, showering, outhouse, grill (propane and charcoal), cover, lights, power, and games. There’s practically no wind to disrupt cooking or outside games and you can even bring the dogs.
My family, most of which have never had any interest in camping, had a great time. I also enjoyed the proximity to closeby parks. Leah was also an excellent host and was always available.

Leah’s campsite was wonderful. There were more amenities than we thought! The space was well thought out with a lot of additional comforts. The hammock and hanging chairs were great to relax in. The creek was a perfect for our children 11, 9, and 6. The cabin provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There was plenty of seating throughout the campsite. We would definitely come back again in the future!

Weekend Trip to Creekside on Camp Road
My family loved camping at creekside cabin! We wanted an easier camping weekend as we didn't feel like dealing with tents. Creekside was such a GEM! The cabin was so roomy, clean and cozy! The property was private and right on the creek. The gazebo area was a beautiful spot to relax, play games and still he outside if it rained! (We lucked out only a sprinkle the morning we left). We played and walked in the creek, cooked fun camp food and enjoyed fires in the fire pit by the creek all day and night! We can not wait to come back! Leah was a wonderful host! She was so responsive and helpful. We are so thankful we found such a cute spot to camp! Thanks again for hosting us!

Sarah's land was absolutely magical!!! Probably my favorite hipcamp sight I've used. They had great amenities - a very clean and "high end" outhouse (which is a funny thing to say, but it's true) and we all loved the elevated deck for stargazing and the underneath for hammock naps. The river is a wonderful value-add as well. Lots of swimming holes with water deeper than 5' both up stream and down stream. Over the site was well maintained, well planned, and had everything you could ask for (and more) for a fun camping weekend.

1 night at Country Cabin
This place is truly a gem. On a farm, but very secluded and quiet. Great views in all directions, at anytime of day (sunset was exceptionally good, and we were fortunate enough to have a full moon with intermittent clouds moving by, so it was pretty cool at night). The cabin was perfect for sleeping (no need to set up a tent - bed was very comfortable). There was room for a blow up mattress in the cabin as well. Campsite was also stocked with wood. This is one of my favorite hipcamps that I’ve been to. Very well done! It’s clear Kate and her husband put thought and effort in to this!
