Great place! Really well-maintained and clean, it's clear that Alicia takes a lot of pride in this property. Very close to the road, but very little traffic so it feels private. As someone who exclusively boondocks, having the 30 amp service was a real luxury! No joke about the lack of Verizon service though - make sure you pay for the Wi-Fi box unless you have T-Mobile or AT&T. Looking forward to coming back.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by Allen and the kids, and had such a pleasant experience. He drove out belongings and some of us down the the glamping site and was kind and welcoming. The tent was clean, comfortable and warm. We had all the firewood we needed, cooking supplies, composting toilet in the outhouse, water. My husband and I had a great time with our son and teenage nephews. Highly recommend the beautiful surrounding scenery of the lake and woods and wildlife. I didn’t get to meet Donna, but she is very friendly and communicative. Thank you for a great stay!

We brought our motor home and the pad was perfectly sized for even a large trailer. It was quiet and tranquil. There were plenty of fish to catch in the lake and Alicia’s selection of boats will fit any experience level.

This glamping tent was PERFECT!!! Donna, Alan, and Tyrion 🐱 were perfect hosts. The heater in the tent was great for the colder nights and my puppy loved the land to sniff around. Very close to Rickette’s Glen state park and local to some cidery’s and winery’s. We even checked out a drive-in movie when we were there. If you’re looking to unplug and to have some privacy, this is perfect :)

🍁Paper Mill Pines Glamping Getaway is a lovely Hipcamp in Shickshinny, PA. Words can not adequately convey just how amazing this place is. 🏕️.
The serenity of the wind and trees, tranquility of the pond, the sight of the crackling campfire, sounds of birds chirping, roosters crowing, and critters scurrying about in the fallen leaves - and the calm of morning, with stillness sitting all around you. It is just so peaceful. Being in nature feeds your soul. We will absolutely be back! 🍂

we had the best weekend at paper mill pines. as people who don’t usually camp, we felt so safe, welcomed, and totally looked after. the hosts were incredible, so kind and genuine the entire time.
the site had everything we could have needed, even after overpacking. the coleman bundle was a must, the bluetooth speaker somehow lasted the whole trip, and the firewood supply never ended. the bathroom was spotless, and the 4x4 drive into the site made it feel like a real little adventure.
just a heads up for t-mobile users, there’s no service, so download your playlists ahead of time. our group of five left with full hearts, full stomachs, and so many good memories. can’t recommend this place enough

We had such a wonderful stay at Cranberry Run Campground! The campground is peaceful, clean, and well maintained. They had a really cool game room. The staff and other campers were friendly and helpful.
We loved how close it is to the Sherman Theater. Cranberry Run was a great place to unwind, relax and enjoy autumn in the Poconos. We will definitely return!

We had such a great experience camping here! The site itself was beautiful — peaceful, clean, and surrounded by nature. We camped with our two-year-old, and it couldn’t have been a better fit for our family. Everything we needed was right there, which made the whole trip so much easier with a little one. It really felt like the perfect balance of comfort and the outdoors. It’s not always easy to find a campsite that works so well for families with young children, but this one truly exceeded our expectations. We’re already looking forward to coming back and would absolutely recommend it to anyone, whether you’re camping with kids or just looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

This spot was perfect! It was lightly raining, but my tent under the pine tree stayed warm and cozy. Getting to pet Amigo was definitely a highlight, and Leo the farm cat was delightful too. The compost toilet station was BY FAR the cleanest, best-smelling setup I've ever used. I'll definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to Paper Mill Pines Glamping Getaway
The campsite was well maintained and provided basic supplies. My favorite part was waking up in the morning to the gorgeous view of the pond and enjoying our morning tea next to the fire. The stay was very peaceful but there’s also lots of activities to do nearby.

This single camp stands out from so many others. We are used to backpacking and now have a little camper that we wanted to spend some time in. We are not the RV parking lots kind of folks! We were looking for something more private and that had options for time together, and this was perfect. Not completely secluded but we had our space to be out and enjoy. We opted for the WiFi option since it’s currently a dead zone for Verizon. We enjoyed a trip out on the canoe and got to see the whole pond and surrounding area. We also saw a great blue heron and belted kingfisher several times. Truly a relaxing and beautiful spot ! We’ll definitely be back! This is a favorite for us. And just to note for those who want to camp with friends or family that aren’t so campy, the owner’s also have a gorgeous cabin across the road to rent. Terrific find!
