Enjoy the private back acre of our 2-acre parcel. RV parking is separated from the main house by a barn and Morton building. Set up camp overlooking what used to be a grassy yard, but is now a walkable wildflower meadow. Enjoy the meadow paths and entire property's yard. Pets are welcome, but must be leashed at all times - our dog is friendly, but will also be leashed when outside. The house and barn were built in the late 1800s and are currently being restored. There will be no construction activity during your stay, but there may be assorted projects in process visible near buildings. Please do not enter buildings unless accompanied by a property owner. Many restaurants, breweries, distilleries and parks are just minutes away in Bellefonte! When visiting them, we recommend going straight out of our driveway onto Clemens instead of turning right onto Valentine Hill. Valentine has tight turns that are a challenge to navigate in an RV or with a trailer.

Weekend Trip to Meadow View Near PSU

We had a great weekend staying at Amanda’s land for the weekend for a Penn State game. Just 15 mins from Beaver Stadium it’s a quick ride. We parked our car and set up camp. Amanda was very hospitable and I would recommend this spot. Also great views of the meadows, we were lucky enough to have a beautiful sunset as we cooked up some burgers and dogs.

1 night at John B.’s "The Baker Camp"

John’s camp is a serene and peaceful space to immerse yourself deep into the pen Pennsylvania countryside. I was driving from New York to California and quit the turnpike because of the crazy rain. I was in my class B 22 foot airstream and drove in & out very easily and was able to hook up to a 30 amp outlet which was great. There is a pavilion with a fridge, there is an outhouse, but I was fully equipped in my van and just wanted a safe haven for the night. John was a great host, responded straight away to my last-minute booking, and filled me in on the property. My dog was able to run around and I was also able to walk along the road for a few miles next morning. t’s a great place if you are in a van & just want to get some peace and quiet, watch fireflies, and deer, and get away from it all. Or If you’re looking for a digital detox, a campfire, and some fun exploring with friends, this is the spot. I appreciated how well laid out it was, it was private from the road & magical!
