Weekend Trip to CHERRY VALLEY CHILL

We loved staying at Troy's shelter (almost a cabin)! At a one hour drive from Cleveland, the shelter was well furnished with chairs, firewood, a blackstone (for rent), and sleeping platforms which made for an easy to set up weekend retreat. Troy and his family were so sweet and showed us their chickens, turkeys, and goats! We joked we need a monthly membership for a regular retreat! 10/10 recommend!

Weekend Trip to CHERRY VALLEY CHILL

I loved everything about this stay. The cabin was very roomy with the addition of sliding barn doors which were my favorite part besides the wood burning stove. The property has a nicely maintained yard that my dog really enjoyed playing in. There were tractors working in the fields on the left and right of the property so at times it could be a bit noisy. The bathroom was very spacious and clean as well. There are lights inside and outside of the barn powered by solar so it was nice not to have to use a flashlight or lantern after dark. Friendly host as well, stopped by when I arrived to show me around and she ensured I was taken care of during my stay. Would highly recommend!

This property and the structures that Troy and his family have built are amazing. So quiet and pristine, it was just the change of scenery that my friends and I needed. It’s only a short drive to a little town, but you may not ever want to leave this piece of land. Thanks for having us! ❤️

Weekend Trip to CHERRY VALLEY CHILL

I would highly recommend Troy’s cabin for an extremely pleasant “get away from it all” great camping experience!!! The cabin is spacious, very very clean, cozy and it has such a special ambiance with the soft lighting and the wood burning fireplace! We brought our own portable mattresses which fit perfect on the beds and even though it rained almost the whole day we were able to stay nice and dry and warm and with the sliding doors open we could see all of the beautiful countryside around us. Also loved how we were welcomed by Troy who had even started our first fire for us! It was nice to have the gas grill right outside and we made some great meals and enjoyed them sitting at the picnic table and the great wooden countertop with the high bar stools. We had lots of privacy all around us and yet it was nice being close to Andover for a quick grocery run or a bite to eat in town. Looking forward to our next stay there! Definitely recommend Cherryhill Chill!!! Thank you Troy for your hospitality!

Weekend Trip to Angie's Country Cabins B&B

Thank you Angie for a great stay! She is definitely trying to make the property a destination! The cabin is located slightly down the street from their house. Beautifully set up! We enjoyed being a bit more secluded considering we had dogs. We didn’t use their hot tub but were welcomed to it! The property as well as the local area was flooded due to weather. We stayed for one night (due to a cancellation of another Hipcamp) but were happy to find the spot for future use! Thanks again!

Weekend Trip to The Highlander

I love the little cute cabin. The woods the sound at night. There was no one around to bother you . With noise it the perfect quiet get away! You have shopping center 20 minutes away. And the owner was super nice I will be coming back! Super clean.

This was 2 very relaxing days spent here! Everything you need is provided and the host awesome. Quiet area no noise so peaceful. He has a couple of dogs that are so awesome they don’t bite! Will definitely be back for sure!

Small Rustic Cozy Cabin.. no thrills. J had the cabin warmed up for us. We took a walk around the property with the dogs... Had a great relaxing time. Plenty of wood.

I can't say enough about Troy, his family, and this modded style cabin which I was amazed on the hardwork and craftsmanship. They gave me the 5 star treatment.Your in the country side surrounded by endless acres of farm land and trees. Wood was supplied which is nice and if you need more you can always purchase more from Troy. I plan to come back in much warmer conditions so I can take advantage of those opening outter walls!

Woodburning stove kept us very comfortable during a colder visit! J was very helpful letting us know about the weather as our trip approached. It was a good fit for 3 people plus a dog.

We no longer provide linens for cabins unless its a 3 night stay or longer Nice back porch with hot tub- bar- table- grill. Pavilion with picnic table at the main house. Plenty of Parking. Only the country cabin you can drive right up to the cabin or our lodge cabin. The rest of the rentals you MUST WALK to. No big hills. Super quiet spot in nature. Unplug and reconnect with nature and each other. Leashed dogs are welcome. No cats allowed inside any rentals. Enjoy the lovely setting of this quiet spot in nature conveniently located near Geneva on the Lake and surrounding wineries. Propane heater and gas generator for electricity add more comfortable options for your stay. Outside port-a-potty is private and not shared with anyone else. Please bring your own bedding for use on the futon. Limited water is supplied for your use. There is not pre-cut firewood on the premises, but you are welcome to cut down logs. If you plan on having a fire, there is also firewood for sale within 5 minutes at Geneva Lakeside Storage. Any fuel that is onsite when you arrive, you are welcome to use. Plan to acquire fuel if you anticipate using the electric and heating elements. We have fuel canisters onsite if you'd like to use them to transport fuel from the nearest stores back to the site. We do not have a cleaning crew out between each visit, so please be courteous and leave the site the way you left it.
