Fenced yard for your dog, fire pit ( seasonal…if allowed) flat grassy area to set up a tent if traveling with friends. Easy parking right by the tiny house. We are a country setting on a dead end gravel road, only 15-20 minutes from the heart of eugene and the U of O…”Lorane Hwy” is actually a beautiful country road with minimal traffic. We are 1 hour and 15 minutes from the Oregon coast. There are 2 organic farm stands within 5 minutes of us where you can get fresh produce, berries, homemade baked goods and homemade breads and soap, jams, pickles etc… you are welcome to eggs from our free range organic fed chickens. Our neighbors have chickens, horses and dogs so you may hear a dog barking and other animal sounds… we live in a house down the driveway and are available for any concerns.

Best campground we stayed at on our entire trip through the Pacific NW! Host met us immediately upon our arrival with clear directions and recommendations for exploring the area. Showers/restrooms were super clean and well maintained. Grounds are beautiful and the campground is thoughtfully laid out giving each site privacy and easy access to ammenities.

This was our first stop on a tour testing a camper van. It was a perfect start to our adventure. Spacious lots (and a wide variety of stay outings), loved the dish wash station and the showers (with heated clean bathrooms) were AMAZING! Great proximity to many different waterfalls. Staff were also incredibly responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

We camped at site 17 with a tent and really enjoyed our stay. The site was spacious, shaded, and private, with a picnic table and fire ring in great condition. Bathrooms and water were a short walk away and kept clean. The river and tall trees made the setting peaceful and quiet at night. A great spot for tent camping—we’d definitely return.

We had an amazing stay in the Umpqua area! The campground was peaceful, well-kept, and perfectly located for exploring. What really made the experience stand out was Stephen, the host. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the area—sharing tips on local hikes, waterfalls, and hidden gems that we never would have found on our own. Highly recommend this campground if you want a welcoming place to stay. It is centrally located to explore many of waterfalls Crater Lake.

Such a great place to stay! I appreciated the nice & clean bathroom facilities. I felt very safe solo camping there. The pond area that’s walking distance from the campsites was so peaceful and nice to take a little dip in. Will definitely be coming back next year to explore the other waterfalls in that area.

The campsite was quaint and host was very welcoming! Pretty buggy but to be expected in a forest. I will say: do NOT use Google maps right from the Hipcamp map/location listing. Put the address in the description manually into your GPS. Google maps literally brought us 35 min in the wrong direction up a forest road on the side of the mountain as we were losing daylight! The road it brought us to was incredibly narrow and we could barely turnaround without feeling like we were about to fall off the side of the mountain. We were STRESSED. The campsite says it’s remote, it is right off the main highway through Umpqua National Forest. There is no service but there is wifi at the site you can pay for-not really what I would consider remote! There is also a small camp store next to the campsite. Free hot showers! Only downside was it’s not lockable (just a curtain in front of the toilets and showers) so that was a little unnerving but everyone seems very respectful. We left a bunch of stuff at our campsite out and no one messed with it! Wish we had an extra day to do the waterfall tour!

This is absolutely the cleanest and nicest campground I have ever stayed at. Definitely more glamping than traditional camping, considering there are flushing toilets, hot showers, and even a dish pit to wash all your dishes. Very friendly staff and overall would definitely stay here again. Would love to check out some of the cabins or clamping tents next time.

Such a thoughtfully designed tiny home! We had everything we needed for a comfortable weekend. The farm fresh eggs were SO delicious! We saw a deer roam right by the window in the morning; what a treat. Would definitely recommend staying here when around the Eugene area!

Incredible Campground. It was clean , inclusive, beautiful! There are campsites, beautiful cabins, and glamping tents set up. The showers and bathrooms were well kept. There's a sink area for cleaning dishes and a beautiful swimming hole very close to the site. Check-in was easy and helpful. We will definitely be returning!

Great little tiny house cabin with all the essentials! We got in late, and were a little nervous arriving, but the host left the lights on for us and everything was easy to find and locate. Our dog enjoyed running around the yard, and the outdoor shower was great!

This tiny home was the perfect spot to start our camping/ glamping road trip. It’s a perfect distance from Eugene, but quiet enough that you don’t have the city noise. My kids loved the yard and sleeping in the loft. We were grateful for the kitchen and a warm shower. Thanks Marjie!

Weekend Trip to Umpqua's Last Resort

The perfect stop after Crater Lake for some river fun and relaxation!! Site 17 is optimal for car camping as the parking spot is so flat. It’s also super close to the showers, bathrooms, and the trail that takes you to the swimming hole!! Seth, our camp host, also made the best hiking recommendations to beautiful waterfalls!! I won’t tell which ones so that you come check it out for yourselves.
