1. The campground with a kitchen and hot/cold potable water and 20 amps of power. Includes 3-4 picnic tables and a covered stage area with power. This can hold 8-10 large tents comfortably. Price includes up to 10 people. Children under 12 are not counted and are free (except to their parents).
2. Tiny Creekside cabin has no power and a queen size bed with bedding and towels included. Sleeps 2 with about 120 SF (tiny) includes 150 SF covered deck. You may add tents around the cabin but must add the guests under extras so you pay for additional tents/people. No kitchen with cabin. This site has a private fire pit.
3. Creekside RV - retro trailer newer looks like a 50's diner. Has fridge, stove top, microwave, electric hot water kettle and Air Conditioning. This is a nice addition to the other sites due to the AC and fridge. RV is parked next to creek across from campground. The toilet is not connected (please use Portable toilet next to trailer).
4. A cabin in the trees 12'x20' with queen bed and all bedding included. No Kitchen in the Cabin, The cabin includes a picnic table, fire pit, hammock, and outdoor bench and chairs.
No Electricity.

The cabin on the property was built by the original homesteaders. Britta and Jim purchased the property in 2009. It had been vacant for a number of years. Giant slash piles scattered the land from previous logging.
The house and cabin were not livable and needed major renovations. In 2019, we purchased and brought in a city bus and converted it to a campers kitchen.
A year-round creek flows through the property and 3 major rivers are nearby. The Zigzag Mountain Lookout Trail leaves from the property. The property was homesteaded in the early 1900's. E. Mountain Drive was the wagon train trail into Portland, known as the Barlow Trail.
Zigzag Mountain Farm offers the perfect escape from the city.

I wish I could have stayed more than one night but the Guest house was perfect. The area is so incredibly beautiful. Communication with Connie and her daughter was clear and friendly, any questions were quickly answered. The animals were the icing on the cake! 5 stars on everything!

Roshin and her partner were very friendly and generous. It was a nice change from most other accommodation experiences where they are more commercial and transactional these days. We enjoyed her really cool studio, and had access to a dedicated bathroom and common kitchen in her main house. Our pup also had an incredible amount of fun in her beautiful backyard. Weekend Trip to Buena Vista Lavender Farm
The tiny home was very cute and cozy! We especially loved the kitchen space. It was perfect for two people. The property was peaceful and well maintained, considering it is a working farm. The animals were all lovely to see (avoid the brown rooster though) & we saw lots of chunky tadpoles in the pond. The hosts were generous in sharing fresh blackberries, pears, apples, and grapes. We ran into a few other guests as well, who were very kind. A great place to stay for those wanting to be in nature!

Weekend Trip to Camp Colton
Incredible spot! We'll definitely return. We had a 4 year old and a 1 year old and the tiny house worked really well for us. Neal, the caretaker, and the other staff were so helpful. One even gave our son some snacks for the incredible goat at the farm. The grounds in general are extremely well taken care of and the communal bathrooms and eating areas are great.
The pictures don't show it, but there also a table in the back of the tiny house. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed staying at Brenda's place. The creek was so refreshing and we loved staying in the tiny cabin. It was clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Brenda was a wonderful host. Our kids enjoyed setting up their tents close to the creek and we enjoyed having our own firepit next to the cabin. It's a great place for families as the whole property is fenced in. It's not too far from Silver Falls State Park which was a fun activity.

10/10 experience! After nights of camping, we treated ourselves to one of Brenda’s cabin. The hot showers, access to clean bathrooms, electricity, and cooking area with all the cookware made our trip super comfortable. My dog loved running around the many acres of land!
Brenda was so lovely to chat with. I just loved her energy! And she was so sweet to offer eggs and veggies she grew in her garden.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to stay outside of silver falls.

Connie does such an excellent job with the properties on Buena Vista Lavender Farm. The views were as advertised, the home was impeccably maintained, the directions were clear, and the hospitality was superb. We stayed here at "Little Tiny" for one night on a Pacific Northwest road trip, and it was just as stunning as tent camping on the Pacific Ocean at Second Beach in Olympic National Park. Would recommend to anyone!

Our family of 4 stayed in "Big Tiny," an expertly appointed tiny home that was comfortable and had everything we needed. We appreciated the little extras in the kitchen (microwave popcorn, oatmeal, tea, coffee), and the things that made it feel like home (books, blankets, games). Note that one of the beds is accessed by a ladder and could be difficult for less agile guests, though I did appreciate the safety railing across that sleeping loft. Our favorite part of the stay was watching the sun set over the lavender fields, then going over to the barn to meet and pet all the farm animals. Connie and her family are gracious hosts and told us all about their resident chickens, goats, sheep, alpacas, donkey, mini horse, kittens, and dogs. Of all the places we stayed on our west coast road trip, this stay was voted #1 by my two daughters (ages 9 and 13).
