This serene and quiet RV spot consists of an open space nestled in beautiful mixed woodlands of mature doug fir, cedar, pine and madrone on our 60 acre property (You won’t see our house or shop since these RV spot is on the other side of the property). RV space has 50 amp power, well water and RV sewer. Your own toilet is a must. Be prepared to “Pac-in, pack-out.” This is a protected wilderness area. There’s a mix of sun and shade. At approximately 2600 ft elevation, a fresh gentle breeze significantly cools the late afternoon and evening summer temperatures. Most cell service carriers do get reception at this location, however, there is no WIFI. This can be a pull-through-and-around area. A long RV/trailer may need to make a y turn. Short distance nature trails in the adjacent woodlands can be enjoyed in the immediate area. You will be alone in this no-frills spot. Just you and nature and your RV home.

In 1948 a wildfire came thru what then was a mixed forest of spars old growth conifers, evergreen and deciduous broadleaf trees burning intensely enough to render the entire area to primarily grassland. Today it is quickly returning to primarily mixed forest, recovering the ability to hold water at cooler temperatures as it once did. Nestled on the south slope of Dickinson Mountain it offers plenty of sunshine yet some of the best cool freshwater to be found anywhere. Although much of this paradise is considerably steep there are ample cow and goat trails to make exploring extremely enjoyable. Bachelor Creek which runs thru approximately 1/2 mile of the Southeast portion is home to beaver, cutthroat, western pond turtles, great blue heron, and many other wildlife. There is a pair of resident Redtail hawks, wild turkeys, deer, bobcat, coyote, cougar, mink, flying, silver grey, and pine squirrels, owls (sawhete, screach, Pigmy, barred, and great horned), and many others. There are also many swimming holes on Bachelor Creek and a tributary we call Dancing creek, although they are all somewhat small the water is nice and refreshing for a quick dip on a warm day. This is a working farm raising cattle, and chickens. On that note please don't feed any of the animals as they could become a real nuisance. If you are going to be leaving your camp for a hike or swim etc. please secure any food items to avoid a potential disaster. The farm is 170 acres (a half mile by a half mile) and there is a fence all the way around it. Feel free to hike wherever, as long as you don't cross any fences you are still here. You can take a dip in the creek where it comes out of the culvert below the road and there is a picnic table at each site as well as at the dipping hole.

Joy’s residence was such a pleasure to stay at! We booked both Pine Camp sites and stayed with friends. The 3rd site (Dave’s Camp) wasn’t booked but even if it was, the sites are fairly separated and the Pine Camp sites would have still felt completely private. There is a nice little trail behind the camp sites that the dogs enjoyed, and plenty of shade for hanging out and relaxing! Joy was so friendly, communicative, and was flexible with us when we requested leaving slightly later than normal checkout time (since no one coming in after us). The sites were well set up, clean, and had a cute, cozy vibes to them! As others have stated, the sewer hookup is on the front side of the site and the electric and water is on the back. We chose to wait to hook up sewer and just dumped the tanks right before leaving. The water spigot is set back aways from the site, we had extra hoses so it was no trouble but you will need some hose length (50’) to reach! A wonderful experience and our next trip to the Crater Lake area we will no doubt request to stay with Joy again!

This is an awesome place. Quiet, clean, serene and safe. Close to Crater Lake and many many Rogue River hikes. Our host, Joy was responsive, welcoming and informative. Sites are clean, level, full hook up tucked under pine trees. Cell service is adequate but we have starlink too. I just cannot say enough nice things.

Highly recommend this clean, well maintained camping spot. With only 3 sites it is peaceful and quiet. Owner is friendly and brought us flowers and fruit. Perfect spot to explore Elkton and the coast. Large sites and lots of shade. Beautiful creek a few steps away with wildlife.

There were three families in our group, each with our own trailer, and we were very happy to find that all of the sites had full hookups, which made things easy and comfortable for everyone. The camp host, Joy, was fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. She really made our stay even better. The camps themselves are perfect for families, with plenty of space for kids to play and explore. Behind Pine Camp #1 and #2, there’s a trail that leads down to a small creek. The location is also ideal. It’s close to Crater Lake, Mill Creek Falls, and several other attractions and amenities in the area, making it a great basecamp for adventures. We truly enjoyed our time here and would love to come back. It’s a place we’d highly recommend to anyone looking for a family-friendly campground in a beautiful area, with an amazing host like Joy to make you feel right at home. Very very quiet and secluded! Loved being on private land. This was an excellent setup for a family reunion camping trip. We rented all 3 spaces and it was a great base camp to explore all of the nature this area has to offer. We felt like Joy was responsive when needed but not intrusive.
