Find an escape on this small blueberry farm in Sherwood Oregon. Campsite is bordered by a small year-round Creek, there is lots of shade and privacy. We also are located for easy access to local summer attractions, wineries, restaurants etc. Campfires and book reading have been very popular here at Bear Hollow! Check in before sunset for your best experience! (Late arrivals can be requested for an additional fee. Our campsite has a compostable toilet, potable water, picnic table, and allows campfires (outside of a burn ban). We are pet friendly. You must keep your pet with you and on leash or lead. We have a private, single site located on the banks of the McKenzie River in Rainbow, Oregon. The campsite is near our home, but feels private. The access driveway and site size make it best for camper vans and smaller RV’s. Long trailers, large RV’s and tent camping are not permitted at this time. The site has 50/30 amp and 120 volt outlets, as well as water and Wi-Fi. We have a porta-potty on site Memorial Day through Labor Day. The property has many areas to set your camp chair or hang your hammock, and lots of short paths to explore. Recreation opportunities abound around here: hiking, biking, fishing, hot springs, cold springs, waterfalls, lava beds, whitewater boating on the river, and flat water paddling on the reservoirs. There are also four restaurants, a food cart, golf course and a general store nearby.

What a magical spot! Stayed in a car tent setup and it was perfect for me as a solo female camper, the hosts are so very kind and I appreciated having folks nearby but also felt totally private. The river is amazing to sleep to and there is a lovely grassy area to hang out / dip as well as a secret hammock nook :) As another note, my anxious dog was able to enjoy this campsite without triggers or distractions and I appreciate that so much! We will be back many times next summer and highly recommend, especially for solo campers or couples or if you have a dog who needs a bit of private space!

Lots of space to pull in. Robin communicated with us and was very helpful. Bill was there to greet us at the driveway to make sure we didn’t miss it. He also very helpfully guided us as we left the next morning so that we weren’t in danger of being hit by someone driving fast over the blind hill near their property. Very sweet people. We had a quiet safe stay.

What a beautiful, magical little spot to spend some time. It's right by the river so you see rafters going by every once in a while. Fell asleep to the sounds of the river and forest. It was very relaxing. There's a cute restaurant about a mile away but it's a pleasant enough walk. Definitely recommended!

The property is large and beautifully maintained. It has a mix of shaded and open areas for camping and recreation. It was great for a family gathering. There's a great fire pit, wood supplied, electric hookup and lighting and potable water available. The composting toilet was quite pleasant. The hosts were gracious and we had the run of most of the property, including the blueberry fields for picking from the last of the available berries. There was some road noise from the nearby roadway, but it wasn't a big bother.

Great little secluded campsite. Even though it is next to house it feels like its own little sanctuary. Host were extremely friendly and accommodating. They even gave me a recommendation to attend the Paella Festival that was happening next door! What an experience

We love camping at Valerie and George's place. Aside from the fact that it is a working blueberry farm, which in itself is wonderful, the camping space is lovely, private and secure. They have put together a very functional camping area, with 2 picnic tables, with lights, a great outhouse and water. Definitely recommended!
