Welcome to Squared Roots Farm, a Garlic Farm and homestead in Alsea, Oregon. We specialize in gourmet hardneck garlic and sustainable farming practices. (IG @squaredrootsfarm) On our farm we grow veggies and flowers. We raise Nigerian dwarf goats, chickens, and honey bees. You will be staying in a 16ft Pacific yurt built on raised deck that has a covered deck for shade and rainy days. There is plenty of space for additional tents and RV campers to join! There is a fire pit, picnic table, full propane grill and composting toilet. There is also a wonderful warm wood stove for staying cozy! You can swim in the creek right next to the site or walk over to the North Fork of the Alsea River where there is 1/2 mile of river access and great winter steelhead fishing too. Close to the farm is world class mountain biking, hiking, fishing, waterfalls, great views, and surfing on the Oregon coast. The camp spot is a very private grassy nook nestled next to Honey Grove Creek. There are nature trails on the property with blackberry bushes. Fantastic! We booked last minute and arrived after dark. We had such a comfortable stay, and were in awe of the creek right behind us in the morning light. The bed is incredibly comfy, and we were perfectly comfortable. This place is moments from mine and my kid's favorite place to go catch crawdads. I would absolutely book again.

Our stay at Jeremy and Dana’s place was outstanding! The yurt was super cute and clean, very comfortable bed, and nice deck. The property, the views, and the peacefulness were even better! We walked to the river, enjoyed the sound of the creek behind the yurt, had fires in the fire pit and absolutely loved our stay. Will definitely be back!

Such a great stay!! The yurt was very secluded right next to the creek. Our pups had the BEST time being able to be off-leash without worry. I was initially worried the farm animals would be close by (and one of our dogs is a herding dog who I wouldn’t trust lol), but they were far enough away that we were worry free! We were able to visit them though, the goats were SO cute and friendly. The bed was seriously SO comfortable, I had to take a picture of the mattress before we left! The composting outhouse was super clean. The whole property was just amazing and we had the best time! Also super close to Alsea for some great hiking and mountain biking. We will certainly come back!

This spot is truly a gem. Pictures don't do it justice - the expansive views, quiet evenings, loads of mini critters (butterflies, happy bees, even some lizards...??). We came here to escape any and all 4th of July firework noise for our puppers and even though Oakridge boasted a big celebration, we didn't hear any of it. Thank you, Jason, for curating such a wonderful experience. I'm very excited to plant my new sunflower, too.

Great little tiny house cabin with all the essentials! We got in late, and were a little nervous arriving, but the host left the lights on for us and everything was easy to find and locate. Our dog enjoyed running around the yard, and the outdoor shower was great!

The campsites werevvery private and tucked deep into the property. There was a cluster of them with a great view and some trails surrounding it. I stayed at one tree hill #33 and it was perfect for me and my standard doodle. There was an open grass area in fron of us to play fetch, and plenty of shade on our campsite. I was able to get the the site with 2wd. The host was responsive enough, but didnt see them. There was an extremely clean porta potty, and also a kitchen sink right outside of it! There was firewood for sale, they also had eggs and herbs available. I would love to stay here again

The amount of areas to literally "hang" was wonderful when winding down

We really enjoyed our time on this beautiful and remote piece of land. Each campsite had access to potable water and a clean outhouse, which made things super convenient. The sites are fairly open and close together, so we could hear our neighbors’ conversations—but that actually turned into a positive, as we ended up meeting and making friends with them! The property itself is peaceful and scenic, perfect for getting away. We’d definitely stay here again.
