Cedar Bloom was purchased in the spring of 2017 by Spirit Weavers Gathering as a place of peace and healing, for all walks of life. Spirit Weavers is an annual women's gathering which happens once a year each June. We host over 1,200 women in just two weeks on the land. Our beautiful forested land is located in Southern Oregon, in a small town off the 199 Redwood Highway. The land which we call home is 100 acres of beautiful protected forest and sits upon a mile of the Illinois River. We are very fortunate to be surrounded by a widely diverse population of flora and fauna. As caretakers of this sacred land, we feel a strong responsibility to honor our plant and animal allies by not only protecting them and their habitat, but also to help educate others about what lives and grows here by providing people with opportunities to experience the beauty of these plants and animals for themselves. For this reason, We are honored to host the many different groups who will gather here on this land for learning and communing with the nature that flourishes here. This 200 acre property is located within the Cascade Siskiyou National Monument, a land bridge where two mountain ranges meet, creating immense biodiversity and natural beauty. Soda Spring is a bourgeoning community tended land located on the unceded territories of the Shasta, Takilma, Latgawa and Klamath peoples, just 10 minutes from the south end of Ashland, Oregon. The property is primarily oak savannah and pastureland, with adjacent fir/pine and madrone/manzanita forests and hillsides. The land sits in a valley where both Soda Creek and Carter Creek enter in to Emigrant Creek as it flows onward to Emigrant Lake, just a mile away. The land is being stewarded by a small group of humans and large community of wildlife and insects. Together we are slowly creating something special... including community event and classroom spaces, gardens, orchards, holistically managed ranch lands, campgrounds and wild places. Please note that we are a working farm with sheep, cattle, horses, chickens, turkeys, dogs, cats, pigeons and bees. We ask that you are considerate to all the life happening on the land, observing animals at a distance (except the cats, who will not allow for that) and being aware of electric fences. If you bring dogs to the land, (an option only with RV sites) do so at your own risk. Dogs will need to be leashed at all times and cleaned up after meticulously. Thank you for helping keep everyone safe and the land well cared for. Currently there are two vintage trailers and two RV sites available. By summer of 2026 we hope to also offer walk-in campsites by the creek!

Absolutely stunning property! The swim hole was magical and will forever hold a sweet spot in my soul. My partner and I stayed for just one night as a late night pit stop traveling to the Redwoods. Nenah was so kind in accommodating our late arrival. I wish we had planned a longer stay here as it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. I hope to be back for a longer stay. I loved staying here! The camper was cozy and charming. The land and the view was beautiful. Sarah was welcoming and incredibly kind. I did not have opportunity to walk the property, but this was a great location to stay. Ashland is just a few minutes away if you want to go into town and it's close enough to the highway to go out and explore the region, as I did.

Easy to find and very peaceful. It was nice to be near Ashland, but far away enough for a city dweller like me, to taste country living. What a spectacular valley! The camper was clean and cozy, and the bed so comfortable that I slept longer than I normally do. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thank you for letting me spend the night. The trailer was conveniently located on the property. Close to all the amenities (bathrooms, showers, sauna, tea house, generously sized shared kitchen, drinking water fill station but not too close. And river access! The bed and bedding were perfectly comfortable. It was nice having power to charge phones and boil water. Didn’t use the gas stove. If I had there were plenty of basic kitchen wear’s to do so. Would have liked if the mini fridge worked but the walk in shared refrigerator did the trick. Room for improvement…the area around the trailer and under the shelter over the table (very handy) was loose powdery dirt (Stayed in mid/late July). Some sort of ground covering, at least around the table and trailer entry would go along ways towards eliminating tracked in dirt and dust. Would stay in it again. Definitely going back to the property in some format.

We have stayed with Sarah multiple times and always had a good experience. She is a wonderful host and the property is beautiful. The trailer is very clean, comfortable and well appointed for preparation of simple meals. It’s been a great stop for us on the way to outdoor adventure locations in southern Oregon and Northern California or to enjoy Ashland. The roosters will assist you in getting an early start in the morning :)

Weekend Trip to Soda Spring

This was my second time staying on Sarah’s land, once in early Fall and once in mid Spring. Sarah is kind and welcoming. The trailer is warm, cozy and has everything you need to get some rest, cook, make coffee… I do a lot of drives between California and Oregon and find this to be the perfect half way stop as Ashland has all the pit stop essentials. The stars are beautiful at night and the trails by the creek bring a sense of wonder. I hope to return often.
