Weekend Trip to Goat Farm Hide-Away CVNP

We returned for the 3rd time to camp at Allison's Gaga for Goats property. It's such a nice place to visit! The goats and other animals are so much fun to pet and are so friendly. The property is very comfortable and in a nice location for exploring the area.

2 nights at Goat Farm Hide-Away CVNP

Allison’s farm was one of the funnest places I have camped so far. We woke up to the sound of baby goats playing which just made us giggle with delight and set a happy tone for the day. The goats, chickens, ducks and turkey were introduced to us by name. The farm was clean and tidy as were the bathroom facilities. Allison even went above and beyond to loan us a few bowls when we realized we had forgotten our mess kits. She is a true gem! 10 out of 10 we recommend GaGa for Goats farm as a camping destination. Next time Im bringing my daughter and grandson. Oh, and it was an easy 8 minute drive to the Cuyahoga National Park visitor center too. Location was great and easy to find.

Excellent location and beautiful property for boondocking. Close to Cuyahogo National Park, Canton, Akron and all the quaint townships you go through while going to your adventures. The hosts responded to my messages and were helpful and very nice.

Weekend Trip to Steadfast Roots Homestead

We had great time and a great camp. Krista was very responsive and friendly on every level. We did a hot tent camp in the snow and we didn't get to enjoy all they have to offer, but we still had a great time by the water. We definitely would like to visit again.

Despire typically not being open during the winter, the hosts went out of their way to accommodate us for a winter camping trip. The camp was nice and clean, although a bit muddy. What are you going to do though? Its winter, its always muddy no matter where you go. I bet it would be a blast to come back during the summer - swim in the lake, enjoy the facilities to their fullest. The hosts are good fun as well. We enjoyed some brief, yet fun conversation. They were very responsive and flexible as well. If we needed something, we got a response ASAP. If you're looking for a winter Hip Camp all to yourself, message the hosts and see if it's the right fit for you! We had a blast.

3 nights at CHERRY VALLEY CHILL

I can't say enough about Troy, his family, and this modded style cabin which I was amazed on the hardwork and craftsmanship. They gave me the 5 star treatment.Your in the country side surrounded by endless acres of farm land and trees. Wood was supplied which is nice and if you need more you can always purchase more from Troy. I plan to come back in much warmer conditions so I can take advantage of those opening outter walls!

Went there for Thanksgiving stayed on site BRX01 and of course I was the only idiot camping this time of year. Even though it was cold Nick provided plenty wood on the site and all through out if you need more. Each site has plenty of room makes you feel like your in your own piece of property. Would comeback under warmer conditions.

Weekend Trip to Sweet Hill

Jason and his wife were great hosts. Notified us prior to arrival to let us know where to park. Lots of flat level space with a beautiful setting of a pond. Very private too. Nice fire pit area although we did not utilize it. Great location with lots to keep you busy. They gave us great recommendations of where to go and grab a bite to eat while we were there. We only stayed one night however, if we were in that area in the future we would not hesitate to stay again!

Camping at our farm you will enjoy extremely private wooded sites surrounding our vineyards. The property is cut by Barrel Run Creek and flanked by the NSF railroad (hence our theme and name). The sites comes stocked with firewood, trash can and picnic table. Located behind the main vineyard of Barrel Run Winery, you are a short walk to the bathroom we leave unlocked for campers if you choose. We have closed the winery but the campsites remain. The space: Our campsites are situated on active organically farmed land. We have several sleeping spots available and amenities include an outhouse, an outdoor kitchen with sink & gas stove and seating area. Guests can freely use the basement shower which can be accessed through the red storm doors on the side of the house. Other things to note: Helpful to have a car even though campus is so close. 1/4 of the 25 minute walk to campus is along a state route. There is a beautiful longer walk to avoid the highway along a bike trail but if you have places to be, either ask us for a ride or best you have your own vehicle :) I walk all the time. Very doable just depends on your preference.
