April through October the foliage is beautiful, November through March the leaves may be more on the ground than in the trees; allowing an openness that hinders the purpose of seclusion. Our campsites are situated on active organically farmed land. We have several sleeping spots available and amenities include an outhouse, an outdoor kitchen with sink & gas stove and seating area. Other things to note:
Helpful to have a car even though campus is so close. 1/4 of the 25 minute walk to campus is along a state route. There is a beautiful longer walk to avoid the highway along a bike trail but if you have places to be, either ask us for a ride or best you have your own vehicle :) I walk all the time. Very doable just depends on your preference.

This is meant to be a quiet relaxing getaway and is what I offer. April through October the foliage is beautiful, November through March the leaves may be more on the ground than in the trees; allowing an openness that hinders the purpose of seclusion. Our campsites are situated on active organically farmed land. We have several sleeping spots available and amenities include an outhouse, an outdoor kitchen with sink & gas stove and seating area. Other things to note:
Helpful to have a car even though campus is so close. 1/4 of the 25 minute walk to campus is along a state route. There is a beautiful longer walk to avoid the highway along a bike trail but if you have places to be, either ask us for a ride or best you have your own vehicle :) I walk all the time. Very doable just depends on your preference.

The property was nicely cared for and private. The host was friendly and greeted us on arrival, showed us around the site, and made sure we had everything we needed. The "bathroom" is a Home Depot bucket with a toilet lid, which was a new experience for us. However, it was cleaner and just as nice (if not nicer) than most porta pottys. Just bring a umbrella if it rains :) There is a bit of traffic noise off in the distance, but this didn't bother us.

Beware the wood site is full of ticks! We were pulling them off of our dogs constantly. But the site is very private and a perfect getaway.

This is a beautiful property with everything you could want for a relaxing camping trip. I was greeted warmly and my campsite was clean and ready to go.
Restrooms are available in a gorgeous barn near the house. There are hiking trails, fishing, swimming, and loads of birds to watch if that’s your thing. Even an eagle made an appearance!
My dog and I had the best time and will definitely be back!
