The spot was exactly as advertised, clean and well maintained - we loved the privacy and the raised tent platform/outhouse were much appreciated! Joshua was a wonderful host and made sure to come check in on us as we were setting up. We will absolutely be back after winter!

The little known spot
We loved camping here! It was nice and peaceful, no complaints at all. The walk was less than 2 minutes to the site and was all by itself. The space was exactly as pictured :)

The property was nicely cared for and private. The host was friendly and greeted us on arrival, showed us around the site, and made sure we had everything we needed. The "bathroom" is a Home Depot bucket with a toilet lid, which was a new experience for us. However, it was cleaner and just as nice (if not nicer) than most porta pottys. Just bring a umbrella if it rains :) There is a bit of traffic noise off in the distance, but this didn't bother us.

The perfect spot for a night of camping. The raised pad for our tent was perfect! Plenty of fire wood provided, and the hosts were so welcoming. We’d recommend stopping by Wool & Vine winery during your stay - just a short drive down county road. We’d love to come back!

The little known spot
Great little site back in the woods. Nice platform for a tent, a picnic table, and small fire pit, plus a little secluded bucket toilet. Perfect spot for a solo night. Host was very nice, property was very well kept. Wouldn't hesitate to come back again!

The little known spot was a magical spot for my little one’s first camping experience. The campsite is clean & very well maintained. We were able to roam the trails freely while having great adventures along the way. It was a beautiful and refreshing experience, which is just what my soul needed. I will definitely be returning on my own as well as with my family. It takes a special place in that offers peace & adventure in one package. If you are looking for a perfect getaway to camp under the stars, this is the place. Thank you so much Josh for allowing us to experience “The Little Known Spot”. Sometimes the best spots are the ones that feel like a well kept secret 🙂

This was my first camping trip since moving to Ohio two years ago and this spot was perfect for easing back into it! The spot was nice and secluded and offered a lot of privacy despite being on personal property. We brought our dog and he loved playing in the stream too!

The little known spot
Very nice owner greeted us and gave us a tour of the grounds and site. Wonderful place with very reasonable prices for wood and drinks. There was also LOT of free firewood stacked up at the site for us to use he offered to refund my firewood money.

Daughter met at arrival, showed site and trails. Joshua home early evening, and checked to see if I needed anything and again in the morning. Pleasant conversation about starting up with Hip Camp!
