Weekend Trip to EJT Retreat

Very nice, small and simple! Super fun even in the spring. One complaint though is that the shower drain was clogged with hair before we arrived/used it. Other than that it was nice.

Weekend Trip to EJT Retreat

My husband and I enjoyed a weekend getaway at Ester’s land. It was quiet and secluded like we wanted. Having a shower and hot tub at the end of a long day of hiking was amazing. We would stay again if in the area. Thank you again!

Clean facilities and a friendly host. Hot shower, full kitchen and great a porch! The band I'm in stayed the weekend and were able to play music all day and into the night. The host was accommodating and friendly.

This is a nice clean concrete cabin. Nice firm bed, new hot tub, and a natural pool with deck. Was here during chilly weather and I plan to return during warmer weather to enjoy the pool.

We had such a great stay! The cabin and surroundings were amazing — peaceful, beautiful, and just what we needed for a getaway. The amenities were awesome (special shoutout to the outdoor fun and amenities!). Esther was super attentive, flexible and understanding, which made the whole experience even better. Honestly, we enjoyed it so much that we’re already planning our next visit! Highly recommend!

2 nights at EJT Retreat

Quiet and peaceful. A minimalist dream, having a shower and a flush toilet to come back to after a long day out hiking was just the ticket for me. Also a nice soak in the hot tub was a welcome bit of luxury for my old bones. Sitting on the deck grilling my dinner listening to the spring peepers in the pond and the call of a Hawk nearby. I even woke up and got to see the blood moon and the eclipse in the middle of the night, while getting some extra time in the hot tub. Was a great couple of days and just the recharge I needed before heading back to work.

3 nights at EJT Retreat

We enjoyed our stay at the Cabin. It's not far from town but very quiet, and feel very private. The hottub was great for relaxing after a day of hiking, and was plenty warm even when it was 20 degrees out. We'd love to come back if we are in the area again.

Our weekend stay at the cabin was incredible! It was clean, cozy, and had all the amenities we needed (including a hot tub). William was also a great host. He checked in as soon as we arrived to make sure we were all set. When I had a question, he responded quickly and was very gracious!

This cabin is located directly on land you are allowed to ride your atvs. If you do not own, your own Atv and your you’re looking to add an adventure to your stay. We recommend renting one of our golf carts to explore the backcountry mountain roads with it is the best way to get out and sightsee and explore the area during your stay , we do offer these adventures separately to anyone looking to take a ride not just our guest. you could bring your own atv and pay a $30 daily riding fee , ride as much as you want. Featuring steel sculptures, wood carvings, tile murals, and a black walnut kitchen and bar; this 4000 sq ft space has a walk out lower level and open floor plan with forest views. Includes WIFI with 200 Mbps, hot tub, sauna, outdoor shower, onsite hiking trails and nearby Hocking Hills Parks. Tiny Art Bungalows available in 2025 Pollinator Tiny Bungalow, Tiny Home/Cabin, sleeps 2. (undergoing current renovation) Another Tiny Art Bungalow coming soon, sleeps 2. Raven's Retreat Hocking Hills is just 2 miles from the western Hocking Hills town, Laurelville. There, you can get groceries, gas, supplies, and visit 6 family-owned restaurants. The closest larger towns are Logan, Lancaster, Circleville, and Chillicothe. We, Dustin and Raven, the owners of Sculptdecor, created most of what you will see in all of the spaces. Upon booking, you'll receive our personal cell numbers and a guidebook filled with local recommendations. State Parks/Nature Preserves nearby are: Rockhouse ( 6.5 miles ) Conkles Hollow ( 10.5 miles ) Whispering Cave ( 14 miles ) Old Man's Cave ( 14 miles ) Ash Cave ( 13 miles ) and several more! There are over a mile of private Hiking trails on the property. We are working with local naturalists to ensure that we maintain a healthy forest. We are unable to accommodate domestic animal friends/pets due to our senior dog Peanut who you may see somewhere around the property during your stay. For art enthusiasts, the Sculptdecor Shop, run by master sculptor Dustin Weatherby, is on the 58-acres closest to the Art Lodge located at the bottom of the driveway. Dustin specializes in animatronics, steel sculptures, wood carvings, mixed media sculptures, and starting in 2025, will offer live art performances and experience packages for guests. Feel free to stop by the shop and say hello, our home is on the same 58-acre property.
