This is a primitive site with no amenities, just a lovely meadow. We make an effort to keep it mowed but there are times in the year the grass gets out of hand, please be aware. Ticks and chiggers can be present depending on the season, so be advised. The campsite is in an open meadow on our 5 acre property, next to the ruins of what was one of the oldest barns in the county (there are still some beautiful stone walls left). You will be surrounded by trees and the spot is completely private. Directly across the road from our property (a 5 minute walk) is the Little Miami Scenic Trail, the third longest paved trail in the US (amazing for biking). The unique village of Yellow Springs is only a 5 minute drive away with a great local grocery store and several cafes. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE BOOKING. Notes: 1) (no RVs or trailers) cars need to park at the entrance of the meadow where there is gravel. Campers got stuck in the meadow due to rain/mud (which is why we do not allow RVs or trailers). 2) If you need to go number 2 please dig a cat hole at least 6" deep. There is an open public toilet in Yellow Springs and several businesses with open bathrooms. 3) The campsite is right off of Route 68. You cannot see cars from the site but you can hear them. The amount of noise from cars is lower at night. 4) The meadow is ideal for tent camping, though it is NOT a built campsite so it is on a somewhat steep slant at spots.

We brought our 25ft travel trailer, easy parking, nice to have electric and we were able to fill water. Beautiful and peaceful farm to stay for a couple of nights getaway. Glen was so nice and we were thankful for our time here and will hopefully be back!

What an amazing spot & amazing time. Robert & Maria do such an awesome time taking care of the spot, it really is an oasis in Bellefontaine, even the bathroom situation is spotless. I 100% recommend! I went solo this time, but I'll definitely be back with my kids! Even though we arrived pretty late, Jay was there to greet us and explain the property and amenities. The camping site is private and suited our rooftop tent. There is a nice kitchen area with microwave, hot plate, and some cooking utensils/pots and pans. I would definitely stay there again.

Weekend Trip to Glamping at River Run

This little getaway was everything. The rustic, bohemian vibe was thoughtfully executed. It was warm, inviting, and so clean! The hosts are excellent communicators which was evident right way. They have taken care of every detail. Seriously, leave it all at home! Blankets, lanterns, kitchen/cooking items - stocked! We drove over 3 hours to camp in someone's backyard. Was it worth it? YES! Not negatives, but some things to consider: There is a train nearby that you hear all night which i find personally comforting. You will also hear a decent amount of traffic noise from the nearby road. Although you're tucked away, there are still people and other glampers on the neighboring property that you can hear and see. Also, the waterfront is super cute! Probably good for fishing and walking the property, but too mucky for taking a dip. Oh! The nearby downtown area is also fabulous with lots of great shops, bars, and restaurants. This sweet little glamp spot has everything. 💕

1 night at GloryField Hospitality Farm

This was such a cute spot! We loved how secluded it was. Nothing beats falling asleep to the sound of cicadas and rain on the roof. We only had one night but might be back to try farming for a day or a tractor ride as advertised on their website!

Weekend Trip to Sweet Spot by Yellow Springs

We stayed just one night at the Sweet Spot and it was perfect! Felt very secluded and exactly what we were looking for. Previous reviews had mentioned the noise of the road and at night it really was not bad at all and did not disturb us. Angie was a fabulous host and was super easy to communicate with as well as gave great recommendations for the area. We would definitely stay again.
