This small farm is 7 acres of the original 25 my great grandmother purchased for her family in 1934. Guests can enjoy the cabin as well as the barn, which has been converted to a rec area. Make our home and green space yours for a few days.
Camp in comfort in our "little cabin in the woods." Accommodates up to six guests, with a queen-sized bed, a futon and two low single beds in the loft, accessible only by ladder. Kids 6 and older may sleep in the loft-- just like Laura and Mary-- and they can read a chapter of one of Laura Ingalls' "Little House" books before bed!
The Camp Cabin contains a small refrigerator, microwave and gas fireplace (no, the pioneers didn’t have that!). Fresh eggs and other snacks are provided for breakfast. The restroom and shower are located in the walkout basement of the farmhouse, a 40 yard walk from the Cabin. The restroom has a private entrance and is used only by guests during their stay.
Pet and feed goats and other farm animals. Enjoy fun activities on the farm and in the barn.

Turkey Hollow is nestled in the rolling hills of Holmes County Ohio. We are right on the edge of the largest Amish settlement in the nation. The primitive campground is in the corner of a small 40 acre farm owned by Matt Polcyn. He started the campground 8 years ago because of his love for nature and real camping. He enjoys traveling in many places in the States and the Caribbean islands and loves finding places off of the beaten path and not commercialized. Because of his interest and love for primitive camping he decided to open the campground in order to provide the same opportunity as a getaway primitive camping location that he tries to find when he travels.
We now just added a in the trees, warm water rinse off area.

Surrounded by Hills, Creeks, Woods, and Beautiful Sunrises and Sunsets! We are settled in the Hills of White Eyes Township. There is lots of history of Native Americans, and the first settlers in this area ( there is a great outdoor play based on a true story called Trumpet in the Land about 30 min from our location) On our farm you may still be able to find arrow heads in the creek bottoms! There is lots of wildlife that may wander through your camp site. The air is full of fresh Country smells. Some tame animals that you will see are Lowline cows ( miniature cows), Chickens, Pigs, Miniature Donkeys, Dogs, Cats.
North of us 20 minutes you will find Sugarcreek ( the little Switzerland ) as well as south east of us Coshocton with canoeing and biking trails as well as Roscoe Village.

A terrific stay. Feel like you are in the country, but close enough to civilization in case anything happens. The cabin is perfect. Host communicates quickly. The barn was a big hit with my two young girls. Cozy and quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved the little cabin in the woods. Was lovely and peaceful. We loved the goats and the chicken. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking a cabin to stay in the Cleveland/ Akron area.

Weekend Trip to The Turkey Hollow Campground
This was a wonderful location! We used infrared and night vision plus Heat sensors down in the hollow looking for Bigfoot. Had a great fire at the fire pit. Spent Saturday at the Bigfoot Conference. Drove over to salt fork state forest - packed like sardines there vs turkey Hollow - never felt crowded. Will definitely return. There is electrical and one light inside the cabin - didn’t have to use my ECOFLOW. Bring your cot or rollout matt - plenty of room. Approx 16x16 cabinets with porch. Outside there are plenty of trees for hammocks as well. Two port a John’s to choose from and water outside the cabin. Again, I will be back! Thx … this was a great accidental find. The Seabee Clem

I was very excited for this stay, and it was even better than I expected. The land and the cabin were beautiful, Donna and Garry were lovely as were all the goats and the chickens! Wonderful people and a wonderful stay!!! The cabin has everything you need and was very comfortable, even with our big dogs.

A beautiful and quiet place, would definitely recommend staying here! The cabin was clean and cozy. I would recommend parking near the first campground where the wood is and not by your cabin unless you have 4wheel drive because the hill is quite steep. I definitely plan to stay here again!

My husband and I were looking for a quiet couples getaway. We found the property and site to be beautiful. The cabin was cozy. The hosts were awesome! They thought of everything!! What stood out as unique is the access to the barn where we found an endless amount of activities. We fed the goats, hiked a beautiful trail and watched a spectacular sunset. We even made time to practice our canoeing skills on the small pond that was adjacent to our cabin. The bathroom in the back basement of the host house was clean and well stocked only about 75 feet away from our cabin. They kept this area well lit just in case you had to go in the middle of the night. What a fun experience for families with small children!!

Donna’s land is absolutely magical. If you are quiet enough and paying attention, there is so much nature thriving around you. This trip came at a time when I did not know I would need it most and it was perfect and healing. The cabin is so clean and charming. This was my partner’s daughter’s first camping trip so I wanted it to be close to home and still have some comforts. It was perfect! The only downside to our experience was the day we checked in, it had been 92 degrees all day, so the cabin was pretty miserable to sleep in the first night. Also, since this is in the backyard of the homeowner, it might not be your cup of tea if you want a more off the grid feel but again, for us it was perfect! Donna was so sweet, gave us our privacy, and graciously shared her land and all of its offerings to us. I will definitely be wanting to come back on maybe a girls trip in the fall or even winter when other camping is more challenging!

We absolutely loved camping out at Turkey Hollow! This campground was so quiet and peaceful. The land was beautiful and there was tons of things to do to keep us busy. Our time here went way to fast but we will definitely be booking again & again! We had no complaints what so ever and can't wait to come back. The nature is beautiful and the sky at night is stunning to say the least. If your looking for a quiet, peaceful, & beautiful place to get away, I highly recommend this campground. Its a beautiful escape from reality. This campground is easy to book, affordable, and was really clean and chill. A+ from us !! Hot water ✔️ Toilet ✔️ Wash station ✔️ All you have to do now is book your stay and start making memories 😀 lol We look forward to coming back!!

Me and a couple friends stayed for a night in the cabins, it’s a pretty area and relatively quiet! there is a bit of construction during the days but you really don’t notice it. Also the gravel roads are a bit bumpy but that’s to be expected, all in all a successful trip.

Weekend Trip to The Turkey Hollow Campground
It was nice, quiet, and relaxing. My husband and I enjoyed staying in the clean cabin and canoeing on the pond. Make sure to bring an extension cord as there is no electricity in the cabins, but there's an outlet outside. So we went to Walmart which was a short drive away, for a 100 ft. cord, which was needed for the Poplar cabin. The other cabin is closer to the outlet.
The cabins have a deck for you to sit on with privacy. Be sure to bring your chairs.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay! It was great!
