A very beautiful campsite we stayed at I wish the lake was a little bit bigger and more accessible but they were plenty to do on the campgrounds very helpful woman working the front office The pool was closed even though it was Labor Day weekend we could have really used a good swim only stayed one night but it was great

I wrote a review for this site for my 1st night. Hipcamp app wouldn’t let me book two nights ina row so I had to do 2 separate bookings. Resulted in 2 booking fees too. So- Hipcamp, take this as notice of a glitch?

Really nice campgrounds. Tent sites are in forested area- we could just barely see our neighbors in the next site. Very quiet- no background traffic. There are a lot of activity ‘zones’, I imagine that it would get busy. There are restrooms at the pool- heavily used and maybe not appealing but they are not dirty nor are they secure. But there is a real nice, finished full bath that locks on the back side of the welcome center. I would stay here again. Note: if you are in a regular car- as opposed to a truck- avoid Blue Gill site, you have to come in/out at an extreme angle to about bottoming out!

The price was right. Was nice having shower and restroom. Decent gap between you and neighbors. Perch site has a decent slope to it. The others seemed to have more flat space. Getting to the water from the camp site itself is possible but again decent slope there.
All in all was a good time and would recommend.

Me and my girls took a three day weekend to Hocking Hills. Geneva was a great place to camp. We felt safe tucked into the forest. The pool was awesome. It was nice to have that little treasure close by. The lake was a little smaller than expected and the fish in it, a little small. But it was still beautiful. And the price is just right.
There was nobody in the welcome center this weekend, but we could call the number if we needed anything and I only needed to do that once and the person who answered was very helpful.
I will definitely go again!

I love the campsite. It was beautiful and amazing. We had Catfish and it was a peer of the lake. They responded to all questions I had pretty quickly. Especially for a weekend. The pool looks well maintained. Overall a wonderful experience.

My wife and I decided to go on a short camping trip this past weekend. Neither one of us has been camping in well over 20 years so this was kind of a new thing for us as empty-nesters. We really enjoyed this campground and all of its amenities. Even though we had a rather loud Church group that was there we still had a good time. We enjoyed the campground so much that we plan to go back this weekend again.

We had a great time tent camping at Geneva Hills. It was a hot weekend (mid 90's) but our campsite, blue gill was all shade and actually quite comfortable. We booked the blue gill site in advance but when you arrive the primitive sites are first come, first serve so if you want that specific site make sure to get there on time.
We spent some time on the lake kayaking and fishing. Great for paddling, not for swimming. They have kayaks/canoes there for rent but we brought our own. We also spent all day at the pool, which was about a 30sec walk from our site. The pool was fantastic, clean and very refreshing on a hot day with lots of chairs/loungers.
Check in was a breeze and the staff was super kind. We will definitely be back to try out some of the other activities such as hiking and games that Geneva Hills has to offer.

The area is nice and under the trees. It was a short walk to the bathroom and the pond. The bathrooms are clean but lots of bugs living in there. There was a truck doing work at 6:30AM so we became early morning people while staying here.
