We absolutely LOVED the tree house!! It was beautifully crafted and decorated, comfy beds, clean bedding and an adorable place. The middle deck was perfect for the rainy weather. The lofts were easy to get in and stand up in. There's a creek in the back that our pups adored. We will definitely be coming back with our kiddos next time!!

I really enjoyed the peace and quiet during the two nights I camped here. The host was very helpful in getting me booked since it was a last minute decision to camp there. This is the third time for me at this site and look forward to coming back.

This spring break was my first with my two kids (ages 8 and 12) since they moved away, and the Treehouse in Tullihas was exactly what we needed. It gave us a peaceful, off-grid space to reconnect, unwind, and enjoy each other’s company without distractions. The location is beautiful, with scenic views, rolling hills, and nature all around. We loved hiking, sitting around the campfire at night, and taking in the stillness. It felt like time slowed down in all the best ways. The hosts were incredibly kind and thoughtful, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed while still giving us space to enjoy our stay. If you're looking for a quiet, meaningful, off-grid experience to reconnect with loved ones or recharge on your own, this place is a gem. Cabin was great and Matt was very responsive and helpful. Will definitely be back.

2 nights at McKee Farm - Treehouses and Camping

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Tullihas in the Trees. Our group of seven (two adults and five kids, ages 10-15) visited in March, and even though it was chilly at night (30 degrees! 🥶), the propane heater kept the chill off. The treehouse was a little snug for all of us to sleep inside, but we made it work. 😁 The kids kept mentioning how thankful they were for a break from internet access and a chance to connect. The location is beautiful, with a creek nearby, plenty of hiking opportunities. There is parking next to the treehouse to easily unload our stuff. One of the highlights was meeting Carol, the owner, who made it possible for us to visit and feed the horse and goats! We made so many great memories and are already looking forward to our next visit! 🌿🌲🏕️

Second time here and would stay more often if I wasn't six hours away, great peaceful place that is out in the country but really close to the neat town of Millersburg which has not only all the old interesting parts of town but a modern outskirts with 100% anything you need. We tented again but did check out the new cabins Matt offers and they look super neat with wood stove and all!!

Weekend Trip to Tranquil Acres Cabins

We had a great time spending our weekend at Cozy Pine Cabin for my Husband’s birthday. The area was beautiful and peaceful. The cabins were also not too close from each other which is great! We enjoyed being in the Hot tub on a cold weather, We love the amenities especially the outdoor gas grill, fire pit (with free fire wood), whirlpool tub for two and many more!! I was also impressed with the host for being so responsive and for granting our request to make our stay convenient and memorable. Truly a star host! ✅Self check in and check out ✅Functional amenities ✅Good smelling sheets/linen ✅Very responsive and accommodating host Looking forward to be back in summer and see what activities they can offer! 👍

This really is a must visit cabin! Pj was a huge help when my wife and I and of course our fur baby came to stay during the new years. The cabin was so cozy, clean, and just perfect for some much needed relaxation. We will be back for sure!

Was the most beautiful cabin I have been to. Mr Pj was awesome I can't wait to get back there. Me and my daughter spent Christmas here and it was magical. They even had a Christmas 🎄 waiting on us. 1 night at Hemlock & Hobbit Forest

I didn't stay in the cedar cabin, it was too cold and the roof was leaking when I scheduled so the wonderful host graciously offered me her much cozier "hobbit" house, which was essentially the same size but warmer. I have to say it was one if the coolest eco friendly houses I've ever stayed in! Really thoughtful attention to details such as the assymetric construction based on the layout of the slope and hillside. An inspiring example of how human structures can interact organically with, and even be enhanced by the natural world. All of this is only to say the host is a really welcoming, and vibrant individual and such a wonderful property is surely an extension of their warm artistry.

2 nights at Ashcraft Hills

A beautiful place to disconnect and enjoy time in nature. The place is super cozy. Even our 2 year old & 4 month old enjoyed it. Our dog loved the open area she could run off leash safely & explore. Nothing but positives to say. The hosts are super friendly; making sure you’ve got everything you need!

Couldn't have had a better stay at a nicer place. The cabin had everything we could have needed. A full kitchen, nicely stocked, a full bathroom, and a beautiful view. Outside is set up perfect for a nice fire. Quiet, private stay. Hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. 10/10 recommend.

McKee Farm is rich in memories and rich in history. It has been in the family for over 150 years and we were told that it was one of stopping points for the underground railroad. The 240 acre farm boasts a hidden cave, wide open fields, breathtaking forest land, and historic and rustic barns. Nestled at the edge of a wooded creek, Tullihas in the Trees treehouse boasts a beautiful sunset view with rolling hills. Tullihas combines comfort with the thrill of being immersed in nature. Built using recycled electric poles, Tullihas in the Trees has a deck perfect for hammocking, an interior dressed with windows so that guests can feel as if they are living amongst the trees, and two small lofts ideal for a restful night's sleep. Oxley in the Woods is our newest treehouse cabin. Nestled in the woods with a view of the sunset, the lovely A Frame is filled with lovely woodwork, vintage parquet flooring, and private wooded views. The deck is huge! We've had guests set up a tent on the deck beside the treehouse for fun! Swings, and a slide make the Oxley a fun adventure. The double bed in the loft and the two stacked single beds are comfortable and cozy. The McKee Farmhouse was built in the 1800s and is rich in memories. It's a rustic old house, with wood trim, hardwood floors, and plenty of imperfections that make it unique. You can sit on the porch and drink your coffee with a view of the barn and pastures, or cozy up in one of the house's four bedrooms and sleep in. The house is fully air conditioned and heated, has all the amenities of home, but takes you back to a simpler time. Our campsites are all set apart from one another in various locations on the 240 acre farm. Secluded and unique, each campsite has its own charm. We provide guests with a fire ring and a shovel, and some sites have a picnic table. Hiking trails are marked throughout the land. Guests can hike with views of horses, cows, wildlife, corn fields, large boulders, and rustic barns. The dirt roads provide great places to drive ATVs and four-wheelers. An Amish farm borders McKee Farm. Guests should know there is minimal cell service, however, this can offer a great opportunity to unplug. Tullihas in the Trees provides a perfect remote and rustic getaway for anyone. In October and November, access to hiking is limited.

The primitive campground is in the corner of a small 40 acre farm owned by Matt Polcyn. He started the campground 8 years ago because of his love for nature and real camping. He enjoys traveling in many places in the States and the Caribbean islands and loves finding places off of the beaten path and not commercialized. Because of his interest and love for primitive camping he decided to open the campground in order to provide the same opportunity as a getaway primitive camping location that he tries to find when he travels. We now just added a in the trees, warm water rinse off area.

Grins & Pickin's CampFarm was created to share the outdoors with others. Growing food & flowers, camping & hiking is what we like to do. And we like sharing these activities. Our family oriented outdoor recreation facility is open on weekends only and offers primitive camping, PYO produce during the growing season, homesteading activities & nature-based programs. The peaceful 20-acre country farm has food gardens, a frog habitat pool, a barnyard for the chickens & ducks, a bluegill fishin' pond, a pollinator maze, a prairie garden, and an outdoor stage. After crossing a winding creek into 10 acres of woods, you may see deer, turkey, fox, coyote, mink, eagles & barred owls. In early spring, the peepers are peeping, wildflowers are abundant & the vernal pools welcome the wood frogs, salamanders and fairy shrimp. Summer brings on the bullfrogs, butterflies, dragonflies and fireflys. Fall is a great time to pull grapevine to make wreaths & to build stick forts in the woods. We cater to the tent camper so that we can hear frogs & owls instead of generators. But, there is an RV section up front for those with quiet generators with several feet of gravel under the grass to hold the weight of your camper. We charge by the carload & there are different rates for driving back toward the woods for camping depending on the number of wheels & the weight of your vehicle (a factor on the wear & tear on the land). We believe in going outside to play, growing & eating fresh food, strengthening family bonds and promoting the awareness of our natural resources. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: 1) The speed limit is 5 mph as soon as you enter the property (kids & dogs are quick to dart in front of you). 2) As a state registered campground, it is mandatory that you check in at the house to fill out a Registration Form before heading to your campsite. 3) No glass allowed anywhere on the property (we don't want our feet or paws cut open and can do without flat tires). 4) Children under 18 must be attended to at all times for their safety (the frog pool is 10' deep, the pond is 8-10' deep depending on rains, and the creek can turn into a churning river).
