Some friends couldn't understand when we moved to southeast NC without any PLAN for our future. We are just happy to be alive each and every day that we are here. We made "someday" into "today" and we are happy to share the experience with you Learn more about this land: We are located in southeast NC, approximately 15-20 miles from area beaches. Our location is very "country" with lots of wildlife (deer, fox, rabbits, birds, etc...) roaming about. It is very quiet in the evenings and overnight. The campsite has a large paver stone patio and picnic table. We have a fire pit and when able we would be happy to host a night around the fire. We are pet friendly but request that dogs be on a leash or tie-out. We expect guests to pickup pet "litter". Campers are encouraged to use the swing and chairs set back under the pines. Also campers will find a guest book in the little library under the pine tree with a concrete bench nearby (you drive around in as you pull into the campsite). The book contains our WiFi password (service not guaranteed). Please leave us a note about your stay.

There is also solar, powered lights, usb charging stations, fans, and air coolers. each Conestego hut has a locking front door to keep your belongings safe Campfires, hiking, canoeing and kayaking. Kayaks, canoes and lifejackets are available for you to use free of charge. The only requirement is to have a flotation device on or in the boat. Lifejackets and paddles are provided Firewood is provided Some cooking accessories are on site. All the Wilmington beaches are within 30 minutes. Due to all inclusive camping experience. This property is absolutely beautiful!! What a treat to wake up to horses grazing while watching the sunrise. Only to be eclipsed by the sunsets. RV spots have level concrete landing pads with plenty of space to back in, fire pit and super comfortable Adirondack chairs. This Hipcamp is quiet, peaceful and gated. Just minutes from restaurants and downtown. Laurel Oaks is a must stay!

This spot is very beautiful and meticulously maintained. I could have sat outside and watched the butterflies and birds all day. The outdoor shower was a delight, I felt like I was in Hawaii surrounded by all the flowers. Really not that far off I-95 but you feel like you're at a retreat miles and miles away.

If you need internet when you stay, stay elsewhere. Connection not good but not really needed for the Beauty on the campground. The hosts are phenomenal. Period. I wish all hosts would take a lesson from Cedar Creek Campground. Will camp there again

We had such a great stay!! We camped with our baby who is just discovering animals - and they sure had plenty for her to say hello to!! Horses, donkeys, mules, cows (and calves!), goats, pigs (and piglets!), chickens, ducks… it’s the full farm experience!! Marble, the goat (who thinks she’s a dog) was such a hoot and so much fun. They also have a little farm store where you can buy meat and eggs and lots of other stuff. We bought a couple of NY Strips and my mouth is still watering over how great they were. As a unique bonus, ask about the history of the land!! (Hints: really cool and old cemetery is there and the improvements they’ve done are astounding!) Basic logistics: Easy pull through spot, big rig friendly, power was perfect, water pressure was just right, park was very quiet, only saw people coming and going. Gate is closed at night for safety (they’ll give you a code, you’re not trapped!) Loved this stay so much. We will be back - with friends!

Perfect spot or for me in my camper van. Only one site so it was nice and quiet. Site is flat. Shaded all the time. Has easy access to the electric water and sewer hook ups. Super nice hosts. Very sweet and respectful of your privacy. They greeted me on arrival and directed me into the spot. Host provided outdoor rug, table and chairs. Tiki torch, swing fire pit with wood. Very thoughtful and a nice surprise. Surprised me with warm croissants as well ! Very quiet and peaceful. Regretfully the donkeys were not home 🙁 but I did briefly meet the new puppy. This is a sweet, quiet, well kept family campground! We enjoyed the pool, the walking trails, and the wonderful energy of the owners. We stayed at premium site #16, which is quite private and had good space for our dog pen. We even had plenty of room for a screen tent to relax in the evenings. We loved our stay! The owners were so kind from the time we checked in and very helpful. Roughly 60 acres to roam and explore with all the animals. They even have a little store on site where they sell fresh meats among other essentials. We really loved it and will definitely return!!

1 night at Cedar Creek Campground at Elease

We really enjoyed our stay. There’s only one site with full hook-ups but we were able to book that on the app easily. It’s a nice wooded area and many of the sites have gravel to park on and it’s very clean and well-kept. It rained on our trip but we still managed to enjoy our stay. Cell signal isn’t great that far out, but good enough for emergencies and if you really need internet a hotspot could do the trick or they offer wi-fi add-ons. They were great hosts and I liked that they don’t have a formal check-in process. Just go straight to your site, which are all clearly marked and easy to find. Overall, wonderful trip!
