The house is very communicative. it was very easy to get into our site and we appreciate being able to enjoy the grounds with our dog. all the sites are right off of a rather busy road with big trucks driving by so bring ear plugs. we really appreciate it that we had full hookups to electricity, water and sewage but we did find the water pressure to be a little low. overall the space is very nice and well kept and an easy spot to stay if you need to drive through or stay in the Raleigh area

Fantastic spot for a relaxing getaway. We brought our dog along, and she had an absolute blast. The on-site amenities—bathroom, kitchen, and a screened-in porch—were a really nice touch. The outdoor shower added to the comfort of the stay. There’s also a small pond stocked with bass, so you can enjoy fishing all day. It’s a perfect place for a family camping trip, with shops and restaurants just a short drive away. We’d definitely return and highly recommend it!

Weekend Trip to Legacy Farms Leisure Area

We had such a wonderful time in Liz’s RV! Our kids (ages 6, 4, and 1) absolutely loved getting to see and pet and feed all of the animals. Baby goat Smidge and corgis Harrison Ford and Princess Leia were adorable, the horses were gorgeous, the atmosphere was fun and relaxing, and Liz was friendly and helpful. Definitely do the farm orientation tour!! If you want to do something more city-like, Fayetteville is just half an hour drive away and has a darling downtown and an amazing (and free!) Airborne and Special Operations Museum. The kids are already asking if we can go back to Miss Liz’s farm again!

Our camp hosts were amazing!!! Monte and his wife are great! We are very close to Knightdale, Louisburg and Wendell center. The gravel lots are level with full hookups. We also got to go fishing in the pond which is stocked with brim and bass. We had such a good time we extended our stay. My husband and I are truly looking forward to our next visit here.

We so enjoyed our stay on Wes’s property! Between us we had four kids ages 5 and under and they had so much to entertain themselves. We loved hanging out under the huge oak tree, using the tree swing, visiting the animals (especially the baby pigs!), and going for walks. The Old House

The McKenzies played a big role in the building of Pinehurst with the Grist Mill Parties and even the famous little cabin aptly named The Womens Exchange in Pinehurst, NC being purchased from Author McKenzie who himself was raised in in this beautiful home. It it property that was once inhabited by our Native American Indian as many Indian Points have been pulled from the fields on the property. In its last days as a working farm it was a tobacco farm. My husband is retired from the Air Force and works full time doing the chores. I retired May 2024 from being a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner at Womack Army Medical Center. I have a side hobby making homemade jams, pickles and flavored goat cheese spreads. We love the peacefulness of where we live...although the weather chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, guinea fowl, peacocks, goats and horses do get a little loud come feeding time. We have different sites, please read each description or message me before you book a stay. All the sites have an 8pm latest check in unless you've stayed with us before. With the cold snap we have been experiencing the RV water source will freeze up over night. Please message me before booking the RV. We are constantly looking for ways to upgrade or make our farm more fun to visit.
