The site was great nice view and very spacious. There was a ton a firewood which was extremely convenient for $3 a bucket. Much better than any store price. Great little site for a weekend getaway definitely recommend. Will most definitely be returning with kids more often ! Thanks guys for offering this wonderful site!

Unique elevated campsite with lovely view. Helpful hosts, prompt response. Detailed description, photos & directions are spot on. Dry stacked rock fire ring makes for easy & safe campfires (and is beautiful).

The shire horses and creek to play in were a treat for the kids. Our group enjoyed the location and plan to return, hopefully when the assortment of Hostas are blooming. The Hipcamp description was accurate. Although it is near the highway and hosts residence where you can hear a truck every once an a while, the site is quite secluded. Nice flat open mowed grassy field for camping.

I want to start off by saying, we would stay here again and likely will. Being the only site made it very private. Yes you can hear noises like ATVs, donkeys, roosters, and people, but there isn’t a human in sight. That’s my goal for camping. If you want amenities, likely you would scroll right past this spot anyway. The rest of the review is just to give you a picture of the experience because that is typically what I am looking for in a review.
So you start out by driving down a dirt road, to a dead end up on a little knoll. The view is serene. The site is on top of a bit of a hill, surrounded in woods, it’s nice and spacious, with plenty of land cleared. The fire-pit is built up nice and high, which is key since you get a great breeze up there. We didn’t deal with ANY mosquitos but it is late April and not at the heart of the season yet, so who knows. There are picnic tables, a couple benches, and a couple chairs, plenty of seating. The potty shed is nice for privacy and they made it super cute, but this involves digging catholes which lets be honest is not fun. But once again, expected if you pay attention to the listing description. The only downside I would say is that there aren’t any grassy areas. I’m a big fan of throwing down a camping blanket for seating but that wasn’t realistic here as it was all dirt and rocks. So it was a dirty camping experience. We will bring our camping shower next time to be able to rinse off. All in all, a beautiful and private spot

Love this hidden spot! Only 1 site and secluded enough for the perfect family trip. Only gripe is with the surrounding land owners may have a farm of some sort which resulted in an obnoxious barking dog and loud music coming from the same direction, which is at no fault to the campsite owner. Other than that a shovel, lawn chairs, picinic tables, and poop shed was provided at the campsite with clear instructions on taking wood that they had there if needed.

Actually we were moved to the Lakeside Campsite based on our needs and Laura's recommendation. Thank you. Laura and Rick were fantastic hosts, they don't come any better. From the time we arrived, to the time we left, we were made to feel at home. The campsite was clean and very scenic. The animals were amazing, each with their own personality. Laura and Rick do amazing things for the animals in their care, as well as the interactive experiences with schools, special needs children, nursing homes, and churches. If you have the time, a Llama walk through their trails will restore your soul. It truly felt like staying in Narnia. Greatly recommend staying at Infinity Acres, we will be back soon.

Great place to stay. The hosts are super friendly and ensured we had everything we needed.
This is a great option if you want to visit Hanging Rock State Park but don’t want to stay at the campground there.
This would be perfect for big families as well. There is plenty of open space to throw a football or a baseball. The creek is nice and isn’t very deep.
I had good cell reception with Verizon.
Stores are close if you need something as well.
We had a great stay and will definitely return.

Another great camping trip to Kohler Farms on the books! We had colder than expected weather, rain, and a little mud but that did not stop us from having a great time. Sitting by the creek listening to the water trickle while watching the gorgeous horses directly across from it was so soothing and relaxing. This is one of our favorite spots. We are looking forward to coming back again.

We arrived at The Rocky Knoll late in the day, during a break in the rain- to find a beautiful vista overlooking woodlands covered in mist with the mountains beyond! The site had a couple of lawn chairs, two picnic tables and benches waiting for us, and if the weather had been drier we would’ve loved to have built a fire in pit with some of available stacked firewood. We have a campervan, so we didn’t use the tent area, but appreciated the care that was taken in making that space easy for pitching a tent. We also appreciated the circular driveway- it was so much more convenient to circle around, rather than backing out. All in, we loved the care invested in the site and the privacy it offered! We’d love to return someday!

This is such a hidden gem; it's my 3rd time booking at this campsite. It's great for a dip in the creek and a fun time with friends. The trails are well-maintained, and the amenities are great for first-time campers. I love bringing my friends here, and it has become somewhat of a tradition to come here and unwind. The host is very kind, thoughtful, and quick to respond; I will continue to recommend and spread the word about this wonderful site.

This site feels like a state park campground all to yourself! Spacious with beautiful views and a nice breeze. The tent pad was wonderful, and the owners have left comfortable chairs and a nice picnic table to make your camping convenient. We didn’t use the poop shed, but it was adorable.
