It is the perfect get away on a 2 acre wooded nature reserve in a rural neighborhood, quiet, peaceful and secluded. With walking trails and quiet sitting spots and a meditation room. We bought this amazing 2.5 acre wooded land with a spring and creek on it from our friends who already had a huge healing impact on the land. A small homestead on the bank of Abbotts Creek near where it feeds into High Rock Lake. Peace and solitude , but close to the amenities of town. Less than a five minute drive to the grocery store, and less than a fifteen minute drive to uptown Lexington. Public access for kayaks is less than half a mile away. And the view is unbelievable!

Our second New camping site "Back Forty Camping" is located on our adjacent horse farm property, just across from Neal Creek camping!

We are only 1/2 a mile from the Interstate 85. So bring your tents, campers or your small RV and come and setup down by the babbling Neal creek, or rent our private covered camper located on the horse farm. Build a nice fire in the fire pits. The firewood is provided, just bring your fire starter.
The Neal Creek campsites are semi-wooded areas with plenty of shade. They are very large private, peaceful and quiet sites.
The Back Forty Camping is semi-wooded area with plenty of privacy!
View the stars at night, relax during the day or if you are into biking or hiking, go to the Overmountain Victory trail located about 15 minutes away and enjoy the 6.7 mile loop around Lake Whelchel right off I-85.

Excellent location for all things Uwharrie. So nice to sleep in a bed while camping instead of an air mattress! A previous review mentioned hanging something to block the road, but we found the site to be totally isolated - we saw one car drive by the dirt road all week.

Had such a great getaway at this site. The cabin was amazing, everything you could need. So much care and attention was appreciated. You don't need to bring anything other than some clothes and a few groceries.
The views were beautiful and the weather was great.
The bed was so comfy, I slept like a baby even with Jack hee hawing. 😄

Michelle and Lisa were fabulous! My husband and I stayed 3 nights in their yurt with our dog. We didn’t spend much time on the property, as we were house hunting in the area and spent most of the day exploring. Their yurt was the perfect spot to hunker down for the night!

This camp spot is so beautiful! The property has lots to explore, the cabin comes with everything you need so you can pack light. You can tell how much care and thoughtfulness has gone into this space. We loved meeting all the animals! The only downside is it’s close to a main road/highway so you easily hear the traffic. However, if you’re looking for somewhere close to restaurants, shopping, etc, this is perfect because you feel secluded enough but are minutes away from all of that. The owners were so kind and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Great spot! Just needed one night and didn’t want to go the traditional hotel route. Directions were on point, space was as described and it was a peaceful small getaway. Beautiful property with variety of farm animals and endless relaxation at your fingertips! The cabin is not too far from the host’s home but feels secluded at the same time. They offer as much privacy as you would like while also being readily available to assist. Amazing garden with herbs and nuts to share! They even came out one evening to introduce us to their baby ducks and chickens. Outhouse is clean and well stocked. Absolutely loved cooking on the old stove! Highly recommend this spot! Camp site also looked amazing :)
