1 night at Gateway to the Smokies

We stayed here on a trip to the Smokey’s. The land is well kept, private, and only a few minutes from the park. The highway is nearby so you’ll get the vehicle noise and lights from businesses. This will likely lessen during full foliage but never be absent. Either way we prefer the feeling of our own camp site rather than large campgrounds which this provided and we all slept fine.

Great location right by a flowing stream. I thought the highway right next door would be too loud but the water drowned out almost all of the noise. The site is great! The lights from the Dollar General across the road were pretty bright but I would imagine in the summer and fall that won’t be a problem.

Very pretty sure with a stream flowing at the bottom of the camping area. The upper site, Peace Park, is a bit hard to level but managed it. The showers and actual flush toilets were much appreciated.

It was a neat expierence. Super Easy access to the place and was easy to find. Dollar general and a gas station was a super short walk away. The only downside was being so close to the main hwy, but I knew beforehand it would be loud. Michael is very responsive answered any questions I had. I was able to fit 2, 3 person tents and 1, 2 person tent inside the square. With room for another to fit.

I loved my stay at this site Michael was very accommidating and attentive , he is very knowledgeable in the area as far as things to do . He told me about The Smokie Mountain Railroad a 4 and half hour ride through the mountains it was amazing it capped off a great week . Overall it was a great experience.

Owners make it easy to camp here at Harmony Farms. They helped me to solve a problem. I will provide this review and referrals based on that. I am grateful to them for the fresh brewed coffee and consider myself very fortunate to have been able to stay here. Horses live here and guided trail rides are a possibilty. Be humble, nice, prayerful, respectful and thankful and watch what happens. You'll be amazed, maybe like I was amazed at Harmony Farms.

June was very welcoming and had information about the surrounding area. Loved walking all over the property, sitting by the creeks on stumps and in camp chairs in the pasture. June’s dogs are super sweet and provided a tour- lol.

Such a nice stay, it was my first time car camping . Definitely super quiet, scared at first but it was all good . Dogs do bark at night but nothing to worry about :) the land was beautiful me and my siblings really enjoyed it . Great experience.

This was a scenic campsite. Unfortunately, it rained heavily the night i used it but it had all the amenities a camper needs. For ring, picnic table, grill. For me, it was sleep in Subaru night. No conditions to enjoy.

Went on a solo camping trip and came across harmony farms and personally it was an amazing experience. I would definitely recommend. lucky for me i had the whole campsite to myself due to the cold weather I had everything I hoped for a primitive experience. The land is beautiful there's lots to explore on the 70 acre trail and was also able to pet the horses they were super friendly. I couldn't ask for a better camping trip all thanks to Patricia.

Although the weather did not allow us to stay at the site, Patricia was a great host and quickly responsive to all our questions! We were still able to communicate effectively and get things sorted while we were down there! We hope to book another trip for better weather in order to get the full experience!

We loved camping here for new years! Perfect for our small group, loved seeing the horses and secluded but not remote! Will definitely be keeping in mind for our next trip to Tennessee!

Beautiful spot right in the pond very well kept clean and peaceful host very responsive to any questions we had, internet worked great which was a huge plus for us on the cold days to be able to connect the tv with no issues whatsoever! We definitely would love to return in the future!

While visiting Greenbrier you can find a picnic area near the river and an outdoor pavilion with a large grill for your special events located there . Several trail heads are located there in the Greenbrier community including Brushy Mountain trail Old settlers trail (several old settlements can easily be found here) Porters Gap trail. There are too many local attractions to list within 15 to 25 minute drive , from horseback riding . tubing, rafting , smoky mountain gravity park to shopping outlet malls . READ !! Be sure to check mypigeonforge.com , pigeonforge.com or gatlinburg.com to find all the local special events calenders as there is at times ALOT of heavy traffic you may not be prepared for . You're welcome . Discounted rides at local riding stables upon request depending on availability . We do have sites set up for you or you may prefer to pack your gear out to create your own site in a more secluded areas of the farm . There are many private areas along the creek side for your primitive camp on our 80 acre horse farm. Hike to the back of the farm to watch a sunset over the horse field or down by the stream . Lots of wildlife and scenery at the farm .
