2 nights at Canopy Ridge Safari Tent

This was the perfect glamping experience. Cozy bedding, impeccable tent, and perfectly clean. We stayed in tent 1 and could not have been happier with all of our accomodations, the king bed was so comfortable, one of the best nights of sleep ever. Even during a major thunderstorm everything was cozy and dry. Highly recommend staying here anytime, can't wait till we come back again!

3 nights at Honeysuckle Springs Smoky Mountains

Pros- This place is peaceful. The view was mesmerizing. We really enjoy the pop up camper. The hosts were super responsive. They provided us with everything we needed to get to the site. The best part is that they have WIFI. Cons- Camp sites were way too close to each other. It was hard for us to turn on our music enough for all us to hear. All of our concentration was focused on trying to not be too loud. Since we didn’t want to disturb our neighboring sites. For those of you, who like the idea of Meet and Greet while enjoying the beautiful nature view, then this place is for you. The bathroom was super clean. It was good opportunity to get few steps in lol. But it was a little far to walk down in the middle of the night.

Weekend Trip to Rest And Relax Retreat

I loved my camp site at the Rest and Relax Retreat. I will definitely come back. The property was beautiful and secluded and still only 10 minutes from Blue Ridge. There was only a few other campsites along the creek so it felt very private. Very well equipped campsite- I really enjoyed swinging in the provided hammocks. Very clean indoor showers and bathrooms were a huge plus for camping also. Highly recommend!

This site is everything I could ask for in camping. The ranch is so beautiful and peaceful, and getting to camp by the river is such a beautiful privilege! The hosts are kind, helpful, and very responsive to all the questions I had. We also bought some of their pork, so good! I will be back SOON. It also is very accessible, and there is phone service there if you’re wondering! I can’t wait to come back this summer.

Weekend Trip to Misty Mountain Inn & Cottages

The cabins are cozy and well appointed. We fell in love with Dragonfly cabin and it's spot amongst the other cabins. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The chickens come out about the same time each morning and it was fun to watch them have breakfast and roam around. We took the opportunity to purchase some of their eggs and were not disappointed. Take the time to walk up the hill to see the horses! The cabins are centrally located to Blairsville, Blue Ridge and Helen with great restaurants and sightseeing in all directions. We wish our stay could have been longer! Thank you to the nicest hosts and we will be back!

Book this! You will not regret it. The drive is fun - I absolutely loved Lynne’s property! The views are incredible. They thought of everything - hot coffee, towels, robes. Just stunning. We stayed in the tiny house and fell in love. There are also the sweetest cats on site that made our stay that much more special. Thank you Lynne! We will be coming back ❤️

2 nights at Misty Mountain Inn & Cottages

My Wife and I (dogs as well) were exceptionally pleased with our stay for the weekend. We felt that the overall location is very conveniently placed, however, perfectly hidden. Their property is beautifully maintained. It is very apparent the amount of foresight and hard work that went into developing their land for travelers to visit. From an outside perspective, you feel a sense of humility and nostalgia influenced by the landscape. Our cabin was pleasantly clean and was well prepared for us. Everything inside the cabin functions, as it should. From the individualism in the decorations of each cabin to the craftsmanship of the stairs and landings, it all displayed significant attention to detail. Our dogs had a blast exploring around our cabin. The free ranging chickens made us feel at home. The owners were helpful and accessible to answer questions we had. Our cabin was cozy and was a nice place to lay our heads at night. We were sad to get up this morning and leave. Bill and Sarah have done a great job and should be proud!

Whiteside Cove Cabins are located on 26 acres, which are flanked by national forest. Entering the grounds affords a great view of historic Whiteside Mountain rising 2000 feet above the cabins. We are smack dab in the middle of cashiers and highlands, which is perfect for those who plan to spend time in both towns during their stay. We are surrounded by tons of hiking trails, great fishing, biking trails, climbing, you name it. Our five mountain cabins all have two bedrooms with queen beds, a full bath, and a large sleeping loft with two twin beds. All cabins have covered front porches with rocking chairs to enjoy the cool mountain air. Maximum cabin insulation provides real comfort year long. The cabins are totally secluded within the deep forest and private from each other. The inside of the cabins are beautifully decorated with vaulted wood ceilings and wood floors. Included is a complete kitchen with microwave, full gas stove, full refrigerator, coffee maker and dining area. Outdoor area includes a picnic table, charcoal grill, and fire pit (wood can be provided or brought). Each cabin is outfitted with kitchenware, fresh linens, towels, paper products, and outdoor grilling utensils. No toiletries provided. There is no internet at the cabin, however, each cabin has a new Smart TV and Dvd Player. Cell service is very spotty and we do not offer internet in our cabins currently. However, we do allow internet access at a shared location on the property upon request! Our own clear, clean stream is a great place to wade or just relax with a picnic lunch along the banks or at one of our picnic/fire pit areas. Our "Creek Spot" as we call it is a shared space between all visitors, but feel free to use the space for whatever you want! There are a few disc golf baskets, numerous yard games, and plenty of places to set up a hammock or chair and just relax! All we ask is that you respect the space and leave it as you left it! Our local sliding rock, a favorite among kids as well as adults, is just a mile or so down our road. Not to mention many well known trailheads literally within walking distance, or just a few minutes in a vehicle. We are happy to help you organize guides for outdoor activity, recommendations or reservations for meals in town, just ask! Come spend a night or a few in our slice of paradise!

We now raise the wooly Mangalitsa pig and sell to the best chefs and restaurants. We sell our pork at the farm too! All of our campsites are next to running water except the two hilltop sites. Two porta-potties are on the farm and private porta-potties are available for rent. Groups of eight or more are required to rent a porta potty should you not bring your own toilet system with you. We do not allow the use of our small wooded areas as toilets. Please review the Extras options as we offer river lifts, firewood and dog stays; thank you! Quiet hours are from 10pm to 9am. Checking in before 5 pm is requested. Later times may be available with prior arrangements. Our farm is very dark and navigating at night is difficult. Contact Catherine directly so you can be checked in safely and accommodate your schedule. LIMITED CHECK-INS AFTER DARK. We are 1 mile off of I 40, 17 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, 15 min. to Maggie Valley, 10 min to the Elk at Cataloochee, 25 min to Cataloochee ski area, 10 min to Lake Junaluska and 15 min to downtown Waynesville. Each side has 2 private showers, 4 flushing toilets, sinks, hot water, and gas heat. - Community Pavilion: The Pavilion is a large 40x30 ft. open sided structure overlooking the Nantahala River. It has an ample fireplace, running water sink, counter space, couches, and table with benches. - Pack Room: Where the adventure begins! A cozy hub where all guests check-in, get local information, view maps, and grab some local seasonal groceries. Also available to all campers are washing sinks with hot water, toaster oven and microwave. - Communication: Or rather, lack thereof! There's no cell service on the property so it's a great time to get away from it all.
