My property consists of a ridge running east to west with the access road running along the south border. the land slopes up to the ridge for about 300 feet, and then down to the river for about 800 feet. The south side of the ridge has a small pond close to the road. The rest is pasture, and an orchard and small vineyard. The north side of the ridge is old growth timber, and shady and cool. The two cabins are along the river. One is perched on a ridge over looking the river and the other is right on the river. The swimming hole is 30 feet from the lower cabin. There is room for a couple campsites along the river also. The south side of the ridge was a cotton farm decades ago, but was covered in timber when I bought it 12 years ago. The north side has been in timber for the known history of the property.

We stopped farming this land long ago but some of his relatives are still farming on the land he use to farm on. Located on family land granted by King Charles in 1685 we have worked hard to restore and refurbish in a sustainable way, using the trees and supplies from the land that they sit on. Hand crafting doors and furniture the way the family did it 140 plus years ago. The history of this place is deep, even the nails for the cabin and farm house that is now the clubhouse were hand crafted by my great grandfather in his blacksmith shop, along with the wagon wheels, horse shoes, misc farm utensils etc... there was no running out to Lowes to pick up what was needed, it was made in the blacksmith shop.
We love riding ATV's and SXS's on the trails on the mountains that I grew up on with my 3 brothers, we hope the people who visit and experience the mountains feel about them the way we do, we love em. We like to give riding tours and talking about the mountain and its challenges.
We named the park from the famous product that was created here during prohibition, Cherry Bounce Moonshine. You can visit some of the original still sites on the mountain, of course they are not operational today.

We are an adrenaline pumping ATV and SXS park with 25+ miles of mountainous trails at four skill levels; Green (Easy), Blue (Challenging), Black Diamond (Very Difficult) and Double Black Diamond (Most Difficult).
You can bring your own ATV or SXS or rent one of ours. We have cabins & camp sites that are accessed by ATV or SXS on the mountains as well as hiking or biking. We do not allow jeeps, trucks or dirt bike motorcycles on the mountain, just ATV's and SXS vehicles.

Weekend Trip to Adin`s river cabin
Adin’s river side cabin is a solitude paradise if that’s what you’re in need of! Or a family trip of great memories! The area is secluded and private with plenty of room to spread out! I wanted to get away and soak in the cool river before the heat of the summer sets in! And this was absolutely perfect. The indoor bathroom is the smallest shower I’ve ever seen in my life, but like Adin says sailor shower! It gets the job done. There is an outhouse that did not appear to be in use and has space in the back for an outdoor shower that I would totally utilize if I go again, just for the convenience and privacy it offers! The river access is just incomparable for the price. Hurricane Helene did make the beach area and cliff a little more perilous than original. But Adin has made a deck and a roped walkway where you can tube, soak or just sit and enjoy. And it has steps also into the water. The multi level decks offer the most peaceful views. Top deck for sunning, 2nd for morning coffee or lunch, 3rd for the bbq dinner, and a swing on the bottom that I used a lot!! Once even to wait out a rain shower before getting back in the river! The VHS collection is amazing and really makes you feel like its an unplugged vacation! Close to parks and falls and great views! Adin even had a suggestion for a local lady who could give me directions to a different local spot! I could have stayed a week or more! The 2nd deck even has a removable doggy door to keep the pups from running! Perfect!

Weekend Trip to Roho's Creekside Cabin - hot tub
Spending the weekend at this cabin was a true dream. The location was gorgeous, the cabin was SO COMFY, the hot tub was perfect, and the location wasn well situated to so many awesome things to do!
We had no trouble following the directions for finding the spot or how to use any of the amenities. It could not have been better!

We loved our stay at Blue Bear Mountain. The drive up from Boone is forested, but as soon as you enter the campground, the view opens up and you can see the NC sky: great for seeing the stars on a dark night!
We stayed in the cabin, which was cozy and had a toilet separate from the campground bathrooms (shower was still in the shared campground structure). There is a small porch on the side for enjoying a quiet relaxing morning sunrise.
Mike is a very friendly host and was very responsive to any questions we had. We already saved Blue Bear Mountain as a campground we would book again on another trip up to Boone.

With pets
It was absolutely beautiful! Very secluded, very steep driveway but I literally drove my Toyota Camry up and down with no problem, the fear just came from within. Lol The host was very pleasant to speak with and always immediately responded back to me within minutes. I recommend this spot for seclusion, animals, creekside, romantic get away!!! It was perfect! Also you will get your exercise in going up and down the stairs but Lord did I need it!!! Lol 😆 we WILL be back

2 nights at Adin`s river cabin
Quiet and secluded. Nothing around but morning birds and the consistent sound of the rippling water minus the jets descending off the mountain. If you desire PEACE and want to unplug from life but have a roof over your head with electric and running water look no more because this is it!!! Not much to do but sit and soak on one of 3 decks.

The little cabin was a perfect little rejuvenation spot for a small family. The area is beautiful and we just wished we had more time to explore. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend!

Weekend Trip to Adin`s river cabin
Adins cabin is a MUST for out of towners, especially leaving from the city. Highly recommended, just bring blankets sheets and pillows/cases! Everything was pretty straight forward and maybe a hybrid or van type vehicle is recommended as well.
