Aramesh is 120 acres of Blue Ridge heaven with something for every wilderness adventure seeker: unmatched mountain views, lush old growth forests, babbling brooks, and miles of trails for all skill levels. The property starts at 3700 ft altitude, with summit at 4500 ft on the Glades mountain ridge. We have only a few campsites on the vast property, so the wind in the trees and birds will be all you hear. Come and stay with us and be renewed! IMPORTANT: 4WD or AWD is required to access our property. There is a sometimes steep and windy gravel road into Pause. Please make sure your vehicle has 4WD or AWD before you book. Campsites: They are 3/4-1/4 mile from the entrance. Some are accessible by 4WD. There may be some vigorous hiking involved, but the views are worth it. The pads are various sizes. Let us know what the needs of your party are and we can help you choose from the available spots. We also have several more remote “off-menu” sites for those seeking a backpacking adventure - ask for more information if your are interested. Hiking: There are several miles of trails on the property. They range from an easy slope to very strenuous. The entire property is fenced so you won't easily get lost. Your climbing efforts will be amply rewarded by stunning views, especially at sunset. Trail maps are available upon request. On-Site Amenities: we provide a clean porta-potty and running water that is spring fed. We ask that you follow "Leave-No-Trace" procedures during your stay. Off-Site Amenities: If you choose to explore the area : we are a 10 minute drive from I-40 Exit 24. Asheville is 45 minutes away; Waynesville is 25 minutes away. Presnell's Grocery (highly recommended, family-owned store that sells locally farmed products) is 10 minutes away from the property entrance. The Ingles supermarket in Canton is a 15 minute drive. You will find every kind of fast food in that area. There are also several excellent local dining options in Canton, Clyde, and Waynesville which we are happy to recommend to you by request.

Peaceful, majestic and unlike any other, Chattooga Belle Farm is quite possibly the perfect place for any event and most certainly an ideal place to pledge your heart and life to another. Since the Lands opened their doors in 2010 they have come. There have been families, couples, groups, the media and fruit pickers who have all visited the farm; and they return year after year. Having been written up countless times across the southeast, US and more recently featured on The Today Show, the farm just keeps growing and getting better. With a history of growing sweet juicy apples, the soil in this part of the world has proven to be excellent for peaches, muscadines, scuppernongs, and blueberries. We have camped here the last 3 Novembers and it is always a great, relaxing time. From the super friendly, laid back, informative workers at the distillery, to the very sweet store workers, the workers here are amazing! Very open to the public, including being able to pet the cows and horses and feed them apples. We camp down by the lake, set up a bonfire and tent and enjoy nature. Lots of yummy wine and pickled fruits and veggies to buy from the store.

We had a great time there. Louedith’s place is great. Chris was a gem! We loved that y’all invited us up for some music and we even got to sing some karaoke! Joan had a good walk around the area and we enjoyed church right there in walking distance of our site. But we drove over anyway. We felt so at home! I’m sure we will be going back.

We had an WONDERFUL stay at Chatooga Belle Farms! The views are stunning and the grounds are clean and well maintained. We arrived late in the afternoon but still had time to stop by the distillery for a tasting and drinks to take to our campsite. The staff are hands-down AMAZING and went above and beyond. We were able to build a little fire at our site and found a semi-private location to pitch our tent. Before we left the next day, we shopped around the Farm Store and got some homemade jams and sweet treats and I was able to pick my own muscadines and Scuppernongs. We will definitely be back!

Lijah's Ridge - beautiful views ! We enjoyed our stay here - and loved the drive up to location. The description for site was accurate - and I might say that this site would be perfect for tents and group of people. We have a roof top tent -so we parked just in front of the tree stumps. Weather was gorgeous - made fire, purchased some wood as part of camp site. Recommending ! Note: This is in description, but can be easily missed. Campers on site above will park in same area, and if you have a rooftop tent - someone maybe parked quite close to you. It did not bother us - but FYI.

We enjoyed how quiet and peaceful it was. Louedith was very responsive and when we had an issue with our sewer hose she and her husband responded immediately and tried to help remedy our situation. We enjoyed exploring trails and waterfalls in the Pisgah National Forest. Would definitely stay here again.

We love this spot! It is convenient to both Asheville and Waynesville but has the peace and quiet of the country. The views of the mountains are wonderful. We camped in a 23’ travel trailer and had plenty of space for truck and trailer. Site 1 is next to the Airbnb but everyone has plenty of privacy with the way they both are situated and a privacy wall that has been built between the 2. Site 1 is gravel and well packed and very level. He didn’t have to do much more than pull in and park. Hook ups are good but a longer water hose (50’) may be needed. The barn is charming and gives another hang out space when you don’t want go go nowhere but don’t want to be in the camper. Louedith is a wonderful host. She is very welcoming and genuinely wants you to enjoy your stay. We will be back.

This campsite was exactly what I needed. I brought my trailer with a rooftop tent and it fit into the space perfectly. The mountain views were incredible, and the dark skies made it ideal for astrophotography which is just what I was hoping for. The porta potty was super clean, which was a huge relief for my daughter. We had a few friendly horses wander over to say hello at our site looking for head scratches. Getting there does require a 4x4 or all wheel drive, so keep that in mind. The site did have a fire ring and a swing hanging from a tree, which we loved. Jessie, who works there, was amazing with my daughter and she let her help brush the horses and really helped her get over her fear of them. It was one of those trips that just perfect from start to finish.

We loved this site! Lots of privacy and it's within stumbling distance of the distillery. The deck is in great shape as well as the furniture. There's a pasture at the top of the hill with cows, horses, and llamas!?! The llamas were cool. It got super dark at night so we had a great view of the stars. The shared outhouse is an outhouse so that may be a drawback for some. Our car wouldn't start in the morning so we called customer service and they sent a resident from one of the homes at the top of the hill to jump us off. Thanks Joe! You're the best. Overall a great experience for us. Would visit again

We really enjoyed the distillery and the hospitality there. However, the campsites are not ready for use yet. Ours was right next to the pump house andhad a water pump in the middle of the site making it more difficult to navigate a very small site. It was also very muddy/mucky. No access to bathrooms except a one hole outhouse about a fourth of a mile away. No dump station. all of this was mentioned in their write up, which I should’ve paid closer attention to. This is a relatively new set up for them and I believe it has great potential once it is better developed.

This site has a pull through, full hookup spot with 30amp for campers but tents are always welcome or a combination of the two. I've had a 33' camper, popup camper and 6 tents at this campsite all at the same time so there plenty of room for your family and friends! We're 2.5 miles from the Cherokee Casino and 3.5 miles from down town Cherokee If you're tired of crowded campgrounds then you'll love the privacy this campground offers. This is now a two site campground with each site being around 100' away from the other site with trees and vegetation growing in between, you more or less cant see on site from the other from May until November. There is a orange cone that marks the border of the two sites. One set of campers will not be allowed on the other campers campsite, if this happens you will be evicted with no refund. Check in is at 2pm and check out is at 12pm. No shooting firearms, (although you may hear people shooting firearms because you will be camping in the mountains) but your more than welcome to bring your firearms. Its better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.   No fireworks. No making trails or collecting firewood (This is not because I want to sell you firewood, its because I want to have the property remain as pristine as possible) Do not cut down trees alive or dead  If you move picnic tables please move them back Dogs are permitted but message me first to see if your do will be a good fit. Low Meadow Farms (formerly Brown Bike Farms) is a serene four-acre meadow bordered by Burnett Creek. The campground is an easy distance to Downtown Knoxville and an even easier access to all that South Knox's Urban Wilderness has to offer. It uniquely offers a hint of backcountry camping without the 25-mile hike in. It is a great way to test the waters for primitive camping or an easy stop close to the city for a seasoned traveler. It is best suited for car camping, RVs, tent, and hammock camping. There are fire pits and picnic tables at each site with enough room for tents and RVs. Most sites have trees suitable for hammock camping all along the creek. There is potable water, firewood for sale, solar showers, and a bike wash stand all next to the covered communal area. Each standard site can accommodate 2 people to keep space between groups and lessen the impact on the land. Sites 10 and 13 can each accommodate 6 guests. If you have more in your group, we recommend reserving an adjoining campsite. Sites 1, 2 and 3 are off the main path to the left of the property, and still by the creek. This no ordinary campground. Pause is an adventure that will feel like you are exploring your own private mountain nature reserve. Aramesh is 120 acres of Blue Ridge heaven with something for every wilderness adventure seeker: unmatched mountain views, lush old growth forests, babbling brooks, and miles of trails for all skill levels. The property starts at 3700 ft altitude, with summit at 4500 ft on the Glades mountain ridge. IMPORTANT: 4WD or AWD is required to access our property. There is a sometimes steep and windy gravel road into Pause. Please make sure your vehicle has 4WD or AWD before you book. Chattooga Belle Farm began as an event building set on acres with a small seasonal retail store. Soon people found their way to the soon-to-be full-fledged farm and they felt it; that feeling that you've found a very special place. Peaceful, majestic and unlike any other, Chattooga Belle Farm is quite possibly the perfect place for any event and most certainly an ideal place to pledge your heart and life to another. Since the Lands opened their doors in 2010 they have come. There have been families, couples, groups, the media and fruit pickers who have all visited the farm; and they return year after year. Having been written up countless times across the southeast, US and more recently featured on The Today Show, the farm just keeps growing and getting better. With a history of growing sweet juicy apples, the soil in this part of the world has proven to be excellent for peaches, muscadines, scuppernongs, and blueberries. The farm also grows exotic fruits like persimmons, paw paws, Asian pears, figs, and more! The landscape is picturesque and the mountain views are truly breathtaking in every direction. The farm hosts farm to table dinners that sell out year after year. Their U-Pick fruit opportunities evolve throughout the season with something always coming in from early summer through fall.
