The cabin is located at the end of a private gravel road with a fish pond and thousands of acres of peaceful wooded mountains at it's doorstep! And yes, there are hiking trails! We built this cabin with you in mind. Everything was custom made by us; from the woodstove rock wall, to the cabinets and outdoor picnic table. You will instantly relax when you walk into this very special place. You will never want to leave! The cabin includes a large front porch with rocking chairs where you will enjoy your warm tea or coffee each morning and evening while overlooking the peaceful pond and woods. There is an outdoor fire ring and picnic table where you can enjoy a campfire, cook on the open flame, and have smore's in the evening. Inside the cabin you will find everything to be incredibly beautiful and spaced to create the coziest atmosphere you've ever enjoyed. There is a wood burning stove indoors that when lit, takes the whole experience to the next level! But you don't have to rely on the woodstove for heat, we've installed a brand new wall unit for heat and air! You also have a DVD player and a television with an assortment of DVDs to choose from. The cabin sleeps 4-5 people comfortably. There is a full size bed that sleeps 2 in the main room of the cabin. There is a loft above that sleeps 2-3 more. A rolling library ladder is how the kids will access the loft area! So fun! The kitchen is complete with a refrigerator, electric stove, oven, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker. A peaceful mood is set by warm-toned sawmill lumber walls, recessed lighting in the ceiling, a kitchen window above the sink that overlooks the side yard campfire area and beautiful woods surrounding the cozy cabin. The bathroom is so nice with a stand-up shower, hand-made oak vanity, and a door to the "star-gazing" porch. Weekend Trip to Rustic Appalachian Cabin

Super cute cabin! Had everything we needed for the weekend even a s’mores kit!! Host were extremely helpful when we got confused with the lock box. The view was great watching the sunrise with the fog over the trees, plenty of paths to walk if you don’t wanna go to the Stone Mountain trail. We wanted a quiet place to elope with some of our closest friends we got that and so much more. Check out was super easy would definitely recommend for a quiet romantic getaway or even a small family vacation! Pet friendly accommodations for the bestest of pets. I don’t know how much more I can recommend, if you’re on the fence take the leap you won’t regret it in the slightest. We looked a so many other options but ultimately kept coming back to this one every time and glad we did! Thank you so much to the amazing hosts for having us and allowing us to have this moment here it will never be forgotten

Excellent, unique accommodations. The communal outdoor space was very charming and the cabin itself was functional and stylish, with work being done to a high standard. Less than 10 mins from town, yet rural and cozy. Communication was prompt and efficient, with an easy check-in/check-out. I really couldn’t have asked for more. Thanks!

Weekend Trip to Rustic Appalachian Cabin

The cabin was great! It was the perfect size for the 5 of us. It was appointed perfectly for just about every activity. The cornhole boards had lights for night play, the smores tackle box was a major hit with the kids, several fishing poles and tackle just in case. Forget your sunscreen and bug repellent; they've got you covered. Is it hotter than the surface of the sun in July; the A/C can keep up with that. Some work to do on vacation; ACTUAL high speed internet to the rescue. Everything was clean and fresh, the grill had propane, was clean, and had its own shelter. The back porch had a wonderful view of the pond. At night we could listen to the frogs croaking at each other for hours. We had such a great time and had zero worries about anything (except about leaving too soon!). We seriously could have stayed another week.

2 nights at The Coziest Cabin on Earth!

This adorable little cabin was everything my fiancée and I wanted for a peaceful weekend getaway. The location feels very secluded and the cabin is surrounded by beautiful woods. So quiet and peaceful, we heard zero traffic noise. Our dogs absolutely loved being able to be off leash, and there are several little trails that were a blast to explore. The cabin was very comfortable and was equipped with everything we needed. Host was very helpful and responsive, we definitely would love to come back sometime in the future!

The cabin was so clean and cozy, well stocked with everything I needed. There are so many great little touches that make it extra homey. I loved watching the stars and enjoying the nighttime quiet, and exploring the woods by day. It was a really delightful escape and I would recommend to anyone who wants to get away but still wants some of the comforts of home.
