This is a secluded, standalone, pull-through camping spot for all types of RVs. It is a nice, level, gravel lot off of a private gravel road. We have all utilities available: well water, 50A power, and a septic dump-station (please be mindful to not dump chemicals/cleaners). In the daytime, the near-by gun range can be heard in the distance. At night, after 10PM or so, the neighborhood is typically quiet. Absolutely beautiful spot! 🌲 The scenery is stunning, peaceful, and the whole area feels tucked away from the world. It’s incredibly quiet — the perfect place to relax and take in God’s creation. 🙌
You can definitely hear a shooting range in the distance, but it’s not overwhelming — just part of the charm of the area. And yes, the local rooster makes sure you don’t oversleep! 🐓😂
Overall, a wonderful stay — we’ll definitely be back! 🏕️🔥

Alison was very accommodating and welcoming and invited us to visit the animals in the other area of their farm. Our camper is solar and the arrangement of the sites in the field was ideal.

My husband and I loved our visit to Liberty Acres RV Campground and Zoo. Owner Alison was a delightful and helpful. Eight sites with full hookups - water, sewer and electric. We had 30 amp for our 23-foot travel trailer located next to the llamas up the hill from the pond with 4 well spaced sites on a gravel pad with a picnic table surrounded by grass. The site was quiet and peaceful with amazing “Out of Africa” sounds at dawn & dusk. The llamas provided us endless company-fascination on both sides was mutual. Our golden retriever loved his new friends he could watch through the fence. He was very polite. No barking. Our cat watched the llamas and the friendly bluebirds through the window. The pond down the hill, past the other rv sites that were closer together, was lively with capybaras and geese.
There was a gravel road leading to the campsite s, which were level. The road allowed us to walk our pup in a loop from our site to the pond and up the road back to our site.
The zoo is farther up the road with lots of animals: brown zebras, ponies, kangaroos, monkeys, a sloth, tortoises, peacocks, emus and more. No dogs allowed in zoo.
The zoo is only officially open on Saturday and Sunday to the public for $15 person, but Alison let us wander off hours when the gates were open and the zoo team was working. Several great white Pyrenees were keeping watch at the zoo and a 14-year-old grey weimaraner named Zoe was providing zoo tours. Tip: Get the WiFi code no Verizon service
