Welcome to Firefly Aces where our land offers beautiful views of the valley and "Enchanted Mountains" by day and star filled skies at night. If you look long enough, you may even see some shooting stars. The property is 93 acres and offers well manicured hiking trails that can even be used for Mountain Biking enthusiasts. Wild animals such as deer, raccoons, fox, owls, hawks, humming birds, bald eagles and more have made the land their home. Fireflies tend to take over in the summer months, its a beautiful thing to see. It's the perfect place to get away and enjoy nature all while being close to restaurants and downtown Olean if needed. Enjoy cooking on our rustic fire pits or light a fire to just enjoy the crackling sounds and warmth at night. A safe place for kids to run around, enjoy family time and the simple pleasures Mother Nature has to offer. It's perfect for anyone who just wants to get away and immerse themselves in the country. We have 2 camp sites ready right now both come with a fire pit. One is more secluded which is campsite #2 and the one with the valley view is campsite #1. Showers are seasonal. The last day for shower use is Oct 15th. You’re more than welcome to bring your own portable shower hook up and use the shower house for privacy. We apologize for any inconvenience. You will need to have a cigarette lighter access to use the shower to power the pump. We recommend bringing flashlights as our property is solar powered and there is no electric on the property. On low sunny days, solar lights may not last as long into the evening. On rainy days the property can be very muddy and access to the top of the hill to the sites would be best accessed with a 4WD vehicle as well as winter time with snow on the ground. If you'd like to charge your phone we advise you to bring back up battery packs as there is now electric hook ups on site. The most private sites are Cloud 9, Bunny Pit and Lilou's Landing. The cottage is located down by the main house and not at the top of the hill. Pets are welcome, please clean up after your dog. * No firearms or explosive devices of any kind are allowed on the property.

The cabin was nice. It had good heating, a nice bed, a nice bathroom, and it had lots of forms of entertainment. The cabin also had wifi and a flat screen tv you could stream on. The host was also very good with helping us if we were confused on anything. I definitely plan on staying here again.

Great place nearby the Erie Canal. We arrived later than we wanted, arriving after dark. We found the driveway easily and the site was good. We had bicycles to cycle along the canal. The property did border the canal, but a little bushwhacking was needed. Woke up in the morning to four deer grazing and squirrels getting walnuts out of the trees!

Such a beautiful space! The views were incredible and really great hiking. You can hear lots of owls and coyotes at night! I suggest bringing an umbrella or something because there’s no real shade in the field. But I wouldn’t have traded the views for anything.

Weekend Trip to Firefly Acres - Star Gazing Views

Cloud 9 was the perfect spot to bring our two kids, ages 8 and 11, for a camping weekend. We were far enough out to see beautiful stars at night overlooking the valley, but close enough to town to run for forgotten items. The outhouse was close to our spot, which is always a plus with kids, and the platform gave us a spot to pitch our tents off the ground. Although not completely private, we couldn't hear much of our neighbors (except for some chatty huskies and a one off visit from a sweet old GSP). Tim was a super friendly camp supervisor and helped grab us a huge bundle of new campwood when we ran out. Plus, the solar fairy light were an adorable and helpful touch. The only negatives were being across the valley from a fishing campground, as some of those campers played loud music at night that echoed across the valley, and the ruts leading up the hill to drive to our site were rough on our low lying vehicle. Otherwise, we had a great time and would love to go back!

Beautiful piece of forest! We explored a little but mostly enjoyed the peace and quiet. The on site firewood and port a potty were nice to have. Well maintained site with tons of seating and tables. We will be back for sure!
