I took this trip with my adult son and I was as tranquil and a bounty of wildlife. The sunsets are great and you’re perch on a hill overlooking a lake so quite scenic. If you want to totally disconnect be at peace and rough it a little this is the place for you. There is a a generator for light, heat and a refrigerator. We took our own portable compost and a small rinse king system to wash up..
Cooking outside was a thrill for my son as well, we gather wood from the surroundings.
Konsztantine was very responsive and quite hospitable. Quick responses to whatever we asked. Best in class host. I will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

The Afran are cute. They’re in the very back of the resort. The place is very clean the hotel on the property has a breakfast nook where you check in and a bar and grill. There is a sauna. There is a big pool and there is an exercise center. The area is very sparse so if you are looking to go shopping or do anything besides outdoor activities like hunting fishing hiking or seeing Bethel Woods, you won’t have much to do. And lots of parts of the drive there is very little cellular and no Wi-Fi or cellular. I recommend packing books in board games hotel provides s’mores and light fires every night. Very nice trip.

Joanna’s campsite was an oasis filled with fireflies, redwing blackbirds, and a family of green herons. The Aframe was cozy and comfortable. Our time there was relaxing. Can’t wait to go back!.

The A-frame was impeccably clean, spacious and gave our family of 4 real protection from the wet weather we encountered when visiting. The outhouse in a v short walk away, as were the very welcome showers. There was a Jackery power source and everything was very easy. Note that you are aware of other campers from nearby sites, as the Cabin and AirStream are very close by: it didn't bother us, as the guests were very courteous and easygoing. I would only comment that the futon couch didn't work for us to sleep both of our children (5&7), as it was rather small for them.

This was our second time camping here, and it was again wonderful. Jo was incredibly accomodating as we navigated getting out of the city, and the a-frame is so cozy! We also loved the (brand new) outdoor showers. On the rainy day we checked out nearby restaurants and Berkshire towns - especially recommend Great Barrington. We'll definitely be back!
