This campsite is nestled in the deep woods of a 120 acre farm that offers beautiful views coming and going. After being allowed to use the restroom at the stone farmhouse, you will then go rustic and start your 3/4 - 1 mile hike in (approximately 20 minutes to the campsite) past the fields and pond down the path into the woods. The trail is remote and you will instantly be able to leave the sights and sounds of civilization behind you and breath the clean forest air. Wear good hiking shoes because portions of the hike are uneven and rocky.
This site is best for experienced campers who know how to pack light with just the essentials as there is no tractor service to this campsite.
When you arrive at the campsite, you will be within 20 feet of a year round stream with brook trout and in a hundred foot tall hemlock canopy nestled between two brook meadows. A 9,000 acre forested preserve abuts our property so you will be able to completely relax, bird watch, enjoy the wildlife, or fish for a brook trout breakfast without hearing the sounds of anyone but yourselves.
The campsite has a stone fire pit, split log benches for seating, a canvas privacy blind around a stand of trees where the composting toilet resides, and a food bag lift to attach your food and trash bags to about 100 yards from the campsite.
Unlimited Split firewood is free next to where you will park that you can take down to the site. All trash needs to be carted out with you. We can't accept mixed trash as it will attract animals that will knock over the trashcans and make a mess. No food goes in our personal trashcans as we have learned this the hard way. Thanks!

Group trip
I was with a group of 7 and the place comfortably slept all of us! It was pretty chilly out but the insulation of the place and the heaters kept us nice and warm. There was plenty of firewood supplied to keep us toasty as well. The view of the stars at nice was also spectacular.
We had a truly magical, outdoor adventure here. We hope we can come back in the future!

We had an incredible time at the tree house at Little Birds Farm! We were a group of 7 with 3 little kids and we were all charmed. The kids had a blast playing in and around the treehouse. The rooms were clean and pretty and the beds were very comfortable. I also appreciated the plentiful outdoor chairs, the ample kitchen supplies, and how pleasant the temperature in the rooms were even on the warmer days. The entire property is beautiful and includes a hiking trail flanked by lush ferns. Jeremy and his family were welcoming, helpful, and very friendly. This is a really special place and we all hope to visit again.

Our four night stay with our five grandchildren was a delightful and memorable experience. The tree house and its setting is a joy to see and live in. Jerremy is a thoughtful, kind, and interesting host. I hope we get an opportunity to return!

Amazingly, magical glamping experience. What kid (or adult for that matter) wouldn’t love to camp out in a whimsical treehouse?? Especially one that has allllll the creature comforts of home! Lol. Very comfy beds, cozy sheets/bedding and pillows, towels, running water (hot&cold) heat and fans/cooling, fully stocked kitchenette, provided firewood. Just show up with your s'mores supplies and you’re ready for a magical time. Plenty to explore on the property (a small lake, a big creek, 150-ish acres) and if that’s not enough it’s close to great hiking and rafting. Jeremy was incredibly welcoming (had a wagon to help us get out stuff to the site). He also got out his chickens for our girls when he saw they were interested in them. We would definitely recommend and will return.

Our group absolutely fell in love with our stay at the treehouse. Jeremy and family were fantastic hosts. I wish we could have stayed longer! The grounds were so fun to explore and the treehouse itself was a dream come true. Pure magic.

Unique and wonderful camping experience. Jeremy was an attentive host and staying at his tree house was a pleasure. We had 2 families/ 4 kids all together, meeting the 8ppl max for the space. We all fit !! Having the linens and pillows provided was super convenient and we appreciated the quality. Our camp time was a chilly Memorial Day weekend, but I could picture this location being fun in all seasons. There was a little pond, a fun hike on the property leading to a creek (about a mile there), and the kids were happily exploring the whole trip.

What a magical place. We decided to book a trip for our son’s 5th birthday and the site was everything a little boy dreams of. From the bunk beds with true tree limbs to the hidden beds above the kitchen area- it was perfect! It is certainly thought out and a lot of love was put into the building process. Jeremy was great with supplying firewood and amble cooking equipment which made it easy to not have to leave for anything extra one may need. Highly recommend paying a visit!

Little Birds Treehouse is a one-of-a-kind, simple, serene place to disconnect and rejuvenate. The structure and the two living spaces are well-built and thoughtfully planned out. We visited at the start of November and felt warm and cozy thanks to the heaters and passive house design, including fantastic insulation. I wouldn’t hesitate to come during winter months.
Jeremy was kind enough to provide ample firewood for us to enjoy a lovely campfire at night and even cook breakfast over fire the next morning. There is a great collection of cookware and utensils for use both over fire and on the induction cooker provided in the kitchen area. There’s also a small fridge.
Between the two living spaces, there are a lot of sleeping options. Following a relaxing night of sleep, we decided to start our day with a walk along a trail that leads to a nearby stream. There was not a ton to see, but it was nice and tranquil. That’s kind of the essence of Little Birds Treehouse; it’s peaceful and comforting.
After checking out, we took the opportunity to visit some of the nearby sites, including High Point Monument and Hawk’s Nest Lookout. The surrounding area is gorgeous and we really enjoyed the drive to and from the property.
If you’re looking for a relaxing retreat where you can truly unwind, this is the place. Jeremy is a fantastic host and he has truly built a special little treehouse. Check it out, and if you have a pet, bring them along; they're going to love it too.
