We also have nature and some fun recreational opportunities both on property and close by. The course has all PDGA approved chain baskets with wood chip or grass tee boxes. We are constantly upgrading the course, it gets better every year! We have some beautiful places for walks (or easy hikes) including walking the course even if you don't play disc golf....it makes for some nice clear trails through the woods. There is a 2 1/2 acre pond where you are welcome to kayak, canoe or paddleboard. A 10 acre swamp, a small creek (that does often dry up in the summer....it's beautiful in the spring), and bountiful wildlife. Nearby are many more recreational opportunities. Within driving distances varying from 5 minutes to an hour (most things within 20 minutes) are a river, two creeks, several lakes (all with public boat access, some with swimming), hiking and biking trails, wineries, brewery, restaurants, a movie theater and shopping (grocery stores and the small downtown are less than 10 minutes). We can provide more information and directions for any activities you are interested in. Our private road which leads to the areas available for camping has only one resident who lives past (with access rights to use the road to get to his property) so it is secluded with no traffic. It can be very dark on moonless nights which is fantastic for stargazing. Intrepid winter campers will find the sky is most crisp clear and incredible in the winter....but the summer is still quite spectacular. Blueberry season is all of July and spilling into August (although winding down by then). During that time the Grassy corner site is more out of the way and quieter. The Most Convenient Woods is close but separate, no one except a passing disc golfer can easily look into your site. You will hear activity in the blueberry field during the day. Possibly including a noise maker that makes a periodic boom in the mornings to keep the birds from stealing all the berries (we are looking for quieter bird scaring options for the future). We try to keep that to a minimum especially if campers are present but can't promise silence. The noise maker is turned off as soon as customers are present so it is just a little while in the morning.

About the Trials Riding: We host 6 Mototrial events each season (see below) and if spectating appeals, you can plan your trip to coincide. You're in for a treat if you've never seen these nimble motorcycles do their 'thing'... up, over, and around the obstacles. Events are busy and exciting, but no worries (!) trials bikes are not loud. Riders are friendly and considerate. If spectating is not your thing- no worries either. Non-event days are very laid back. On any given day if Trials riders come here for practice (or instruction with Mike) it's not loud or invasive, nor interferes with any camper training or play on the course. This is your on stop spot for motorcycle Trials. Mike and Laurel have made a welcoming spot on the hillside for RV's. Easy access to parking from the road. They provided us with a nice welcome packet. That had plenty of information about the area. Places to eat or see. Most people who camp here will be coming for riding. Mike offers lessons as well. But it would a nice spot for anyone looking for a getaway. Don't be put off by the riding. This is not a motocross track. You might be amazed at seeing riders tackling the obstacles and trials bikes are quiet. You might even want to try it yourself? Looking forward to a summer stay. Thanks.

Went to Catherine and John’s property middle of October and had a great camp. Catherine greeted us and made sure we were all set. Threw a couple of fun rounds with friends, cooked some nice food, and had an overall great experience. Will be back soon to check out some fishing on the Susquehanna. Cool camping spot.

Weekend Trip to Smyrna Lake Campsite

We stayed in a 26' trailer, and the hookups were excellent. If you have dogs with good recall, this is the perfect place. Being able to let them off leash was so appreciated. The lake was beautiful and crystal clear. Our dogs loved swimming, and we enjoyed paddle boarding. Next time we’ll come earlier in the season so we have more daylight to enjoy everything. Weekend Trip to CampsiteDiscGolf @ HighHorizonsFarm

Camping at CSDG for the second time, and it was just as great as the first. We had the chance to play a round with Cathy, John, and Dave, and we had such a fun time that we played an additional 8 on the older course with the makeshift baskets—definitely awesome!! You can tell Cathy and John love what they do, and they radiate nothing but warmth and kindness. Communication was great, bathroom was clean, and the camp site was private and stocked with wood. Can’t wait to come back in the spring!

This place is awesome! Perfect for camping with a trailer. All the hookups you need plus WiFi! Quiet and private tucked back in the woods. The lake is really calm and peaceful. Roberto checked to make sure we were all set and definitely takes care of this place. 10/10 recommend!

Laurel was the sweetest host. The camp site was in pristine condition. Easy access to electric and water. Do note a road with speed off 55 mph is within a 100 yards of the camp site. Great place for a few days stay or even a quick overnight stay.

4 nights at Mountain Hollow Farm and B&B

We really enjoyed our stay. Frank was a great host. Provided awesome food and fishing tips for his pond filled with bass, crappie, catfish, and trout. We had full hook ups with a gorgeous view. We were so lucky with amazing weather and the morning sunrise with nice cup of coffee was so relaxing. Frank had a great fire going that was relaxing. Very peaceful, and quiet place to visit. Look forward to staying again.

Catherine was such a friendly host! She even gave us some frisbees to try out disc golfing as we were all total newbies at it! The campsite is absolutely perfect. Relatively flat plot to pitch a tent, a really nice fire pit, easy access to a porta potty. The campsite was also very accessible from the town so if you wanted to use a "real" bathroom that was more than doable! Amazing view from the campsite as well, waking up to the fog settling on the hill was sooo beautiful. Highly recommend to anyone looking to get away!

Weekend Trip to Smyrna Lake Campsite

This spot exactly as described. Very private but everything here and well laid out. The walk to the lake is a bit steep but 110% worth it if you like to fish or be by water. We caught at least a dozen largemouth bass, several 10-12 inches, a yellow perch and several large pumpkinseeds. RV Site is gravel and damn near perfectly level. Couldn’t ask for much better, appreciate Roberto and his family are willing to to share this very nice location, A+ Hipcamp!

We booked the Landing for a short stay for traning seminar about 30 minutes away. We were greeted by Laurel shortly after we arrived. The site was nice and everything we needed. We didnt stay long enough to really enjoy the site but they had a table a chairs firepit with chairs and firewood availabe to use. Would absolutley reccomend staying there if your looking for a place in the Finger Lakes area.

Campsite at discgolf course was clean and easy to find. The grounds were quiet and the disc golf course was fun and challenging. Our hosts were wonderful and friendly. Fresh flowers were a great touch that added color to our picnic table.

We camped on Cathy and John’s property at “our Most Convenient Woods” and had a fantastic time!! The campsite was exactly as described, tucked away in the woods right next to the course (perfect place to practice some putts). We could see the stars at night and enjoy wildlife while also enjoying a few rounds—absolute paradise. Cathy and John were awesome hosts who invited us to join them for Saturday Tags, but, unfortunately, we were a little slow moving and started a bit late. We caught up with them on the course and they gave us some history of the property as well as some pointers for how to shoot some of the more difficult holes. Can’t wait to go back and again and play a round with these awesome people on their beautiful land. Definitely a must book!!

I had such a wonderful stay at Catherine’s Hipcamp with my dog! From the moment I arrived, Catherine was so welcoming and accommodating, she even met me at the entrance to guide me to the site. She had dry firewood ready, which made my evening so cozy. The property itself is fantastic: quiet, tucked away from busy roads, and beautifully secluded. I felt completely safe the whole time. The views were incredible, and I loved that there was a portable potty available and even a disc golf course on-site. It’s clear Catherine puts a lot of care into hosting. Her kindness really stood out and made my stay extra special. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway!

We had such a wonderful experience at this pondside campsite! The whole area is absolutely beautiful and peaceful, with stunning views that made the trip so relaxing and refreshing. The Landing was awesome! Easy in and easy out and super, super spacious. Mike and Laurel were great and I would absolutely reccomend it to anyone looking for a spot. Will definitely be returning in the future.
