COVERED FRONT PORCH/LARGE YARD- The relaxing atmosphere of the creekside porch is a guest favorite. It provides lots of shade and that flowing creek sound! Drink coffee on the gliders and catch a glimpse of wildlife in the woods. From intense badminton matches to rounds of corn hole, this is the spot! There’s a small table for happy hour sips and snacks under the glow of the front porch string lights. The large firepit surrounded by the creek and trees bring guests together for cozy nights under the stars peeking through the tall pines. HUNTING/FISHING- The creek (Little Hickory Run) is stocked with trout in the spring! Our property is attached to 175 acres of public hunting land owned by Colins Pine logging company. The property and woods however are not set up for mini bikes, dirt bikes or ATVS and are not permitted to be ridden there. FIREWOOD-For now we are BYOW or purchase nearby at George’s Little Store in East Hickory on Route 62. There’s a cart and wheelbarrow provided to move wood right from your vehicle. I will contact guests if we decide to offer wood on site again. FULLY STICKED EAT-IN KITCHEN- The updated kitchen includes large pantry shelves because all you will need to bring is your food! I’ve got the rest covered. From the little amenities like spices and cooking spray to the Keurig and coffee pot; it’s stocked! Blender, crockpot, dishes for 11, pots and pans and more. There is a large table in the kitchen to gather around for game nights and meals. Or enjoy a picnic on our outside table. Gather your crew and set out on a new Pennsylvania Wilds adventure! You will want to visit year after year!

The cabins, cottage, tent sites & trails are very private and secluded. Each site has its own private entrance. There is approximately 10 miles of professionally groomed, maintained trails for guests to share for recreational purposes. The trails are marked and 10-15' wide. They range in difficulty. The southern section of the property ascends abruptly from 2050'-2250'. The northern range is less abrupt. It has been my passion & a genuine labor of love to keep this environment as pristine as possible. My ultimate goal is to be able to provide a place for man to be nurtured, where nature & wildlife will thrive, always striving to keep the environment as pristine & serene as possible. Weekend Trip to Lake Of The Woods Cabin Camp HST

What an amazing hipcamp experience!! My partner and I, along with our two dogs absolutely loved staying in the cabin. Brian was an incredible host, so responsive and helpful with any questions we had. I have never seen a space so well thought out, it had everything we needed and a perfect space to relax and unwind after a long day of driving. Would love to stay again next time we’re in the area.

An absolute gem of a site. The cabin itself had everything we needed. Was already warmed up for us upon arrival on a snowy evening and held heat well throughout our weekend. Ben gave us a great hiking recommendation that we took advantage of and it was just what we were looking for. Enjoyed our evenings by the campfire and morning coffee on the steps by the river. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. We are already planning our next trip out here!

My partner and I loved this cute cabin , right next to Lake Erie! It’s a great size, very clean, and had all the amenities we needed for the start of our cross country trip back home , including a buddy heater for the cold night. Thank you so much for the extra blankets too! We were perfectly snug. We wish we could have spent another night. We got gluten free pizza at Villaggio Italiano, which is right down the road — it was delicious! Couldn’t recommend this spot more!

3 nights at The Nest - Creekfront Cabin In ANF

HIGHLY recommend! Great location, not far from civilization but far enough away to get a BREAK! The Nest is a cute/comfy little cabin with everything you need! Even a crockpot which was great to have dinner cooking while we were out fishing! My favorite part of the location was there is no service or WiFi, you truly get to unplug and get away from the devices that take over our lives on a daily basis. Plenty of movies to wind down the night with. Ben and Ginny are great hosts, Ginny walked us through and told us everything we needed to know. The bedroom has air which was very helpful on the hot nights and kept the entire cabin cool. We were warned about a pesky little bird but didn’t have any issues nor did we have many concerns because we did put ourselves in the middle of the forest with the expectation we might encounter some animal friends!! We will 100% be back to the Nest! Hopefully a couple different times in the next year!

Ben, and his mom Jeannie, were great hosts. The only negative is that I didnt stay longer. They really made it feel like home. Ben had a little book of the history of the property and recommendations for the area. I ventured to Kinzua Bridge State Park and Hector Falls, but nights by the fire and creekside were perfect too. Hope I can make it back next year

3 nights at Angie's Country Cabins B&B

We had a fabulous three nights staying in the Country Cabin at Angie's Country Cabins. The Country Cabin has it's own parking and outhouse and is secluded from the rest of the property. You are able to follow a path to the main site during the day, but I wouldn't recommend it at night. (That's ok, it is literally a 20 second drive.) We had a great time meeting and chatting with Angie's family and other campers. Every morning we walked over to the main site and had a coffee, showered, and had a relaxing start to our day. Each night we settled around the community campfire and made some food, chitchatted with other campers, and one night pulled out guitars and jammed for a bit. We are already talking about going back in the winter and staying in Reynolds Rustic Retreat -- hopefully we have a few feet of snow and can escape from the world. Angie was always quick to respond to answer questions, both via phone and on the app. In addition she has videos, instructions on the amenities, and various books/games/etc. in the cabins. Stay here, relax for a few days, and get off the grid!

Weekend Trip to Lake Of The Woods Cabin Camp HST

We loved our stay. The cabin is perfect. We did not mind being close to the road or the tracks. Everything was very wooded and felt private. close to town and right by the lake. The cabin had a bunch of amenities that were not mentioned such as a gas grill and an indoor cooktop, lanterns, a cooler etc. Very well set up. We will stay again.

Weekend Trip to The Nest - Creekfront Cabin In ANF

This was our second time staying at Ben's and it was perfect. The river was low so we were able to walk and cross without issue. Water was perfect temp to cool down and just relax. We found the stash of seasoned kindling this time so it was much easier to start a fire with the mountain of firewood provided. Spent our days exploring and popped in one of the many DVDs before bed. Location is great. Can't wait to go back.
