The land is a work in progress Looking for something to do! Rafting/swimming: The Pilar Junction Bridge is located 10 min. away. It is a major put in spot for rafting. But also a beautiful place to dip your toes or jump on in! Rio Gorge Bridge: 10min and you will be at the Rio George Bridge. One of the most gorgeous scenic overlooks. You can walk across the bridge to a 200ft drop below to the Rio! There a few local Mountain Goats that chill here regularly. Here you will also find public restrooms as well as dumpsters. There are no restrooms on site. An outhouse is being built but for now we dig holes or use the restrooms at the George Bridge. There are local vendors usually set up here in the parking lot. Taos Ski Valley: The Taos Ski Valley is about 45min. But worth the drive to get away into the mountains grab some food and beverages! Earthships: The Earthships are located 5min down the road. If you are interested in building off grid homes I recommend checking out the visitor center! Taos Mesa Brewery: There is a brewery 10/15min away that has outdoor shows and events. Buddhist Temple: If you continue on the road within Tres Orjeas you will reach a Buddhist temple at the top of the hill. If you need more assistance please reach out! Thank you!

We stayed in spot 2 with our 30 ft and had plenty of room! Gorgeous views and impeccably clean spaces and the cleanest Porta potty I've ever seen. We had a blast and the hosts were so incredibly kind and knowledgeable. We will absolutely be back and recommend to anyone that will listen!

This was a GREAT location and easy to get around anywhere we wanted to go! Kelly and her husband were excellent hosts. Kelly shared places to go, she was extremely responsive and they had an adapter for the electric! I hope to visit here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

We loved how it was tucked away in the mountains. Tons of wildlife! We saw deer, turkeys, HUGE jack rabbits and also heard elk. The staff was VERY nice and the food at the café was also very good. We would definitely stay here again next time were in the area.

Great place to stay. The location along the Rio Blanco is serene. The owner, Rich, couldn't have been more accommodating. And the stars Thursday night were jaw dropping. We plan on returning.

The parking spot was level on gravel, close to the other two campers, but the forest was just up the road where we could walk our dog. Neighbor campers including our host were super friendly. Close to town on the highway. Convenient location.

2 nights at Dragonfly Mountain Ranch

Don's property is true New Mexico gem. Off the beaten path and nestled among the Rio Grande Del Norte National Monument. Excellent place to stay if you are looking to explore the natural wonders amongst the Rio Grande Gorge and Taos area. Watching the full moon rise each night over the Sangre de Cristo Mountains was the cherry on top. Don is a 10/10 host, highly recommended!

Weekend Trip to Alys @ Sugars

Aly was a wonderful host and was very accommodating! The weather was beautiful and we loved the apple tree view. A meal (or 2) at Sugars is a MUST! It’s very conveniently located to area wineries and a short drive from great hiking!

Weekend Trip to Walkable downtown Pagosa property

This spot was perfect. It was in a great location close to the hot springs which is what we go to pagosa for. There are some woods nearby that our dogs had a blast in. Beautiful and peaceful. Totally will come back!

Weekend Trip to Viento Del Rio RV River Campsite

This site is right on the river bank and is super peaceful. We did not have any problems with bugs. The site is set up with full hook ups as well as a little patio with a fireplace and seating. J & T met us upon arrival and were very friendly and informative about local things to do. Getting out was a little tricky (our tt is 27’) but not impossible. We’ll definitely be staying again!

Don is so kind and accommodating. Due to monsoon weather, it was too muddy to risk getting to my original spot so he put me up nearby. The next day he showed me the bonsai spot and that worked out just fine. Beautiful views all around!

Rich was kind and accommodating! The camp was clean and felt close to nature, and fairy close to both Pagosa and Chama. We will certainly keep this on our list of places to stay in So Colorado!

Weekend Trip to Viento Del Rio RV River Campsite

The camp spot is beautiful and has a great patio area to view the river and local wildlife. We saw blue heron and geese fly the river. The hosts are very friendly and the letter they provide gives a lot of local information. The site now has 30 Amp service and water. I don't believe it had that when we originally booked. Since there is only one spot you are guaranteed some privacy and quiet time. The site is almost absolutely perfect. Things to consider when booking this site. The site is right next to a river so there are bugs. Small nats and flys were prevalent at night swarming around lights. Our screens didn't stop the small nats. This is to be expected as you are near a river and not at Disney. Another is the road to the site has a few humps and dips in it, so if you have a weight distribution hitch you should probably disconnect the bars before going down that final stretch. Also, even though we have a relatively short trailer (19 feet) it took a little work to get out of the site. Nothing to stop us from booking again, but I am glad we have a relatively small trailer.

Being right on the Enchanted Circle Scenic Drive, the location offers a lot of opportunities for outdoor enjoyment and sights to see; you also have some road traffic going by; so depends on what type of camping you're looking to do; I found it very convenient and look forward to going back.

Weekend Trip to The Last Resort on the River

We arrived late and checked out early. A quick overnight on our journey. So we didn’t get a chance to experience everything. I can say the host was wonderful. Walked us to our site. Explained everything about the grounds. They seem to have everything you could need. We backed our van to within 15 feet of a running creek. Nice. Beautiful location, not far from Pagosa Springs (10 miles ish). Would definitely return when in the area. Thanks!

Weekend Trip to Heaven or Taos 🪐

Heaven or Taos was an excellent stop for us on our road trip through New Mexico! We spent three nights, which was plenty of time to explore the Enchanted Circle, the Rio Grande River and National Monument, nearby hiking and trails and Taos Pueblo. Heaven or Taos has a few spots with hookups and water and that was all we needed to stay comfortably. Kelly was super accommodating and kind and met us to help pull in upon arrival. We did take many of her suggestions into consideration as we planned our trip and are grateful for her insight!
