Great communication, friendly hosts. Perfect fire pit. Easy to get to, right off highway pretty much. We used it as an overnight stop. You can hear the h8ghwa6 sounds but it's muffled and we couldn't hear feom inside our van. Field very open, so if in high summer would be warm but perfect for a fall overnight. Would use again.

The campsite is so great for our needs: 3 good sized tents for our families to camp together. They're close enough that the little kids can safely run between them and around the common area but not so close it's noisy for each other. The grills, fire pits, dishwashing stations and toilet/shower amenities are clean, useful, well-maintained and appreciated. As were the badminton net and swings! Loved our second annual trip here.

Molly was very responsive and a pleasant host. Due to a miscommunication we were not at the orchard site so I can’t comment on that, we were at a big open field site. There was plenty of room and Molly provided wood and water and stumps to sit on by the fire. We were very happy about the orchard popup there in the morning to get cider and apple donuts! Very fun stop on pur bike packing trip through Westchester.

I spent two days here this weekend. I arrived a little late on Friday. Cindy's preparation was perfect. I didn't have to do anything else. Also, Cindy explained everything kindly, and even I, who spoke English badly, could easily understand it. I would like to thank Cindy. The weather was perfect, and the sound of grass bugs at night was also nice. Cleanly maintained facilities made camping even more enjoyable. I'll visit you again next time.

We recently spent a weekend at Beaver Brook at Blossom Dell, and it was an absolutely beautiful experience. Booking through Hipcamp was a breeze, and we stayed at Site 2, which had a lovely stream in the background that was so soothing to listen to. The host Patricia was super kind and had a laugh with us when we accidentally drove a bit too far in. And my super handsome and big grand doggy Bo couldn’t wait to say hello. Overall, we enjoyed the beautiful, peaceful setting—listening to the owls, gathering wood, and just soaking in nature. It was a memorable trip for our family and Bo,’s first camp experience. Louella my other grand doggie is an experienced camper for a pup and the best dog ever. My grandson was old enough to remember this trip and he loved every minute of it him and his uncle Josh did so much exploring together. It was unbelievably amazing. I will never forget this trip and we will definitely be back and we definitely recommend it! Thank you, Regina the grandma, & Mom

Molly was a responsive, kind and helpful host. The property is very pretty and also very close to amenities and fun activities like tea town reserve. We loved the sunset field spot! In the fall there is an apple cider mill in the barn that sells cider and hard cider, apples, donuts and muffins and there is a great spot for kids to play. Both the field and the orchard are not a long walk from the barn to bathroom. This is a good place to do camping with a nice mix of nature and access to amenities.

The camp is at the base of Wawayanda mountain right between the iconic hikes "Stairway to Heaven" and "Pochuck Boardwalk" on the Appalachian Trail. Hike right from camp up to "Pinwheel Vista" (named one of NJ's best viewpoints!) About 10 minutes down 94 is the beautiful town of Warwick or about 4 minutes in the opposite direction is the town of Vernon. Warwick is a quaint small town with plenty of great restaurants and bars, and famous for its apple picking. The quiet charm of Wawayanda State Park appeals to hikers, campers, swimmers and boaters. In April of 2024, my long awaited 1st Glamping site was available for booking. It's been very popular! Please read the description carefully of the "Gypsy Rose Vardo", to see if it's the right fit for you. I also have 10 large camping sites available on our 33 acre property located in Northwest NJ. Sites 1 through 4 are on mowed, fairly level fields and are large enough for campers or RV's up to 30ft, or a couple of tents, and sites 5 and 6 are further back in the woods, available only for a few small tents, sites 7 through 10 are much further into the property and are only accessible with a high clearance AWD or 4WD SUV or you can park and hike your gear in. There are 3 compost toilet outhouses spread out through the property, so it's an easy walking distance from any site. Although we are only 2 1/2 miles from a main highway, the last 2 miles are on a dirt road with no houses. We are surrounded by protected land, so no neighbors and lots of wildlife, including the occasional bear, coyote or raccoon. Keep all food items secured. Because we are surrounded by protected land we are not sprayed for insects, so be safe and do tick checks often and bring the bug spray. We are 45 minutes from NYC or the Delaware Water Gap and an hour away from the NJ shore. There are horse farms nearby that offer trail rides. We are also close to the Highland and Appalachian Hiking trails. There are two reservoirs within a 20-minute drive for canoeing or kayaking. There are walking trails through our property, including a ten-minute hike on a marked trail to a small waterfall in a ravine.
