You'll find one flat, self sufficient, semi-remote spacious clearing surrounded by a diverse canopy of trees, offering serene views of the flowing river. I wouldn't say this is one of the best campgrounds out there, but think of it like this: youre not renting a campsite here. You're renting the whole part of the river, which happens to be campground.
The neversink river by the campsite is at most waist deep, cool but not cold, gentle flowing water, LOTS of fish (especially bluegills), pristine clear water, bald eagles, super friendly and welcoming hosts, and nice neighbors (they are the reason why its not so private like the other review mentioned, but as long as you respect their private property and noise level, they are great neighbors).
To be frank, I wasn't so impressed at first, but by the second night, I knew I was going think about this place frequently. Luanna - thanks for hosting! Looking forward to visiting again in the future :)

I recently had a wonderful camping experience at Free-Dom Soars, and I wanted to share my positive feedback. Luanna is an exceptionally kind and thoughtful host. Her campsite is spacious, beautiful, and has a fantastic location right by the river.
I wholeheartedly recommend Free-Dom Soars to all types of campers, whether they are traveling solo or with family.
