Our stay in the tipi was absolutely wonderful! It is super cute and thoughtfully set up with everything you need – from a cozy bed to a shower or even a real toilet. What made the experience even more special were the hosts: Sandi and Rob are incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to help. If you’re looking for a peaceful and memorable getaway in the desert with an amazing sky full of stars in the night , this is the perfect spot. We wholeheartedly recommend it and would love to come back!

Weekend Trip to Mojave Desert Ranch
WOW! A very wonderful experience was had. I give it a 10 out of 10. Employees were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional in all aspects. The weather was not a problem, only gusts of wind late into the night, and a warm environment during the day, but comfortable. The mini cabin had toiletries, which I found very thoughtful. The fire pit near the campsite was perfect for s'mores, so no need to bring your travel pit. Although I recommend bringing a flashlight and water on your stay.

The RV camper was exactly as described, cute little camper in a ‘live’ ghost town. It was nice to spend time on the balcony area in the evening and have breakfast outside early in the morning before the heat begins. We were able to cook breakfast in the morning and walk to the Pioneer Saloon for dinner. Walked around town as well which had a self guided walking tour. Would recommend! Thanks for the great stay!

This spot is so cute and has absolutely everything you need for a glamping experience! Nice out door area to enjoy the Nevada sun with a beautiful view, fire pit for night time drinks around the fire and comfortable soft bed. I’m 5’6 and my husband is 5’11 - I fit perfectly on the bed but he slept on the outside so his feet could dangle a little when he stretched out so if you are well over 6 foot maybe pitch a tent in the outdoor spot and let the short people have the bed 😂 It was close to seven magic mountains attraction also which was super nice and the host was very helpful and informative! Absolutely loved it and would stay again if I’m in the area.

They have thought of everything, so you can just roll up, and relax. The mattress is memory foam, the shower is definitely worth it, trust me, and the outdoor kitchen is great. Rob helped me fix my cargo carrier, when I arrived, which was above and beyond. The only drawback is that there is a covered wagon pretty close, so it doesn't feel as private as some might like. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for something special.

This lil camper was perfect for what we needed. Very small space inside but we really just needed a place to sleep and a quiet space away from the action in Vegas. It was a beautiful place to wake up. Good AC and heat for hot mornings and cold evenings. Heather and Colton were very accommodating and helpful when we had an issue with the door. The camper itself maybe could have used a little love, but overall we had an amazing time there. Goodsprings is a beautiful place. Highly recommend if you are going to Vegas, but don’t want to be staying in the middle of it all.

This is a great listing with great views! It was easy to find and get settled! We wanted to get out of Las Vegas on our trip and Heather’s camper is perfect! It’s not too far from the city, but is quiet. 100% recommend it!

We loved staying at Sandy Valley Ranch in the tipi. It was a unique stay with all the amenities one would need to be comfortable. The tipi was perfect for 2 adults and we slept well. The outdoor kitchen and campfire cooking tools were more than enough for a glamper to make a meal. The facilities were close and clean. The valley is the real star of the show with incredible sunrises, sunsets and night skies. Thank you for sharing your ranch with us.

We loved the entire experience! I would highly recommend this property to anyone. The property is a block away from the Pioneer Saloon, a great place to eat and grab a few drinks. At night, you can see the glow of Las Vegas beaming from behind the mountain behind the Pioneer Saloon. Heather, our host, bent over backwards to accommodate our last second reservation. She did a great job. We had a wonderful experience! We had a fire in the fire pit just off the deck that overlooks the Pioneer Saloon and glow of Las Vegas in the background. One of our three slept in the camper and two of us set up cots and slept on the deck under the stars. Can't wait to come back.

The tee pee was really cool, our kids (5 and 9 yo) loved the adventure! We enjoyed the fire pit and the stars at night. Very peaceful, remote and a fun experience for us all. We did bring an air mattress for the kids and extra bedding as well.

Welcome to your peaceful, desert getaway. This little Retro Camper is only about 35 minutes from the Strip. The property is home to Joshua trees, desert mountain views, beautiful sunsets, and some of the best star gazing around. The camper comes with a full kitchen, a refrigerator, microwave, and gas stove. Dishes and utensils are provided as well as bedding and towels. The bed is about a full size bed, maybe a bit smaller, cozy for two people to sleep in. The camper comes with two space heaters and extra blankets for the winter, an overhead air conditioning unit for the summer. The shower has cold water only and is an outdoor shower. Check out our "Extras" to reserve firewood and a S'mores Kit to enjoy under the stars! Head across the street to the Pioneer Saloon for some great food and live music. Enjoy the tranquility, the star gazing, the vistas, the coyotes singing in the distance, say hello to all the farm animals, join in on a horse back ride through the Mojave desert, explore the surrounding areas such as the ghost town of Goodsprings, the famous Pioneer Saloon, Tecopa hot springs, the Mojave national preserve, red rock canyon, 7 magic mountains to name a few. There is Wi-fi in the main ranch house which is open 24/7. It is the large red and white building to the right when you enter the ranch. There are additional showers and bathrooms there as well. We do offer meals at the main ranch house but you must contact the kitchen manager to pre book your meals. That info is provided after a booking. We do offer horse back rides, cattle penning, cattle drives and shooting at our shooting range. You have to call reservations to book any of these activities. So peaceful and serene in this little mountain oasis! Hidden away within the mountains, there’s so much to see and do. Hike through the mountains and even down to Colorado River. Rent kayaks at the property to drive them down, a 7 min drive off the property. Book an off road tour around the mountains and down to the river. Check out the world famous ghost town a few minutes away and even goon an underground mine tour. It’s pure bliss and joy. A reset, a rest. Available as a single person camping, all the way up to weekend retreats for the entire family. This property is secluded and in a remote area with limited cell service. AT&T and Verizon have limited service, other carriers do not. This property is accessible by off road vehicle only, otherwise you may park your car in parking which is 4-7 minutes away from your tent by our shuttle. Off road vehicle means a 4x4 to drive over a rocky trail. To access your tent, you will be required to schedule the shuttle for check in. A host will drive out to meet you to take you to your tent. Must be scheduled in advance. Check in is between 3pm and 9pm only. The host does not live on property and travels for your scheduled check in time.
