Tranqvillium was purchased in 2016 with the intention of creating Gaia Earthen Technologies Sustainable Living Educational and Research Center. Construction started in 2016 and now we have our first temporary building and working on the others. The daily operation is run by Tranqvillium, an intentional community of people who don't like to spend their money on rent and utility bills.Learn more about this land:The location is about an hour west of Las Vegas in the California Mojave Desert. Even though the lights of Vegas are visible on the Eastern horizon, above Tranqvillium there is no light pollution and the entirety of the visible part of the Milky Way is shining down on us. Tecopa Hot Springs is 30 min West from us, along with China Ranch date farm. From China ranch it's a 40 min hike through Mars like terrain to a swimming hole complete with a small waterfall, where the Amargosa River comes above ground. The ancient lake bed where Tranqvillium is located is surrounded by medium height mountains, which are perfect for rock scrambling, and the world famous Red Rock climbing site is nearby too. The place is very rugged and is recommended for experienced campers who are not taken aback by wilderness living.

Weekend Trip to Mom's RV Spot

Leo’s land was perfect for our last night after a long two weeks of dispersed camping. There was a fire pre-made just waiting to be lit, and Leo offered us coffee and hot chocolate the following morning. Leo was easy to talk to, and gave us some great recommendations for a future trip! We had a great stay at Leo’s place. He was a wonderful host! The spot was very large, well maintained and level with easy access to all hookups. Leo had a fire pit with all of the wood for fires throughout our stay, it was a great touch. Leo has chickens on his property and allowed our children to go over each day and help to feed and care for them, it really made the kids feel special and was such a great experience for them. We would absolutely recommend anyone to go and stay with Leo while in Vegas. Thank you for everything Leo!!

Weekend Trip to Beagletopia - Your Quiet Escape!

It was wonderful camping. close enough to civilization that I didn't have to worry if I forgot something, but far enough away that it was quiet all weekend - unless you don't like the sound of coyotes singing, and dark enough to sit out, watch the sunset, and enjoy a nice pour of Weller C.Y.P.B.. My trailer is 22 feet, so I would pull in, and still unhook, giving me a great view of the mountains. Some weekends, I just need to get away from the house and all the stuff, and I will certainly look for this spot.

This place is so great! The location is a little adventure and the area is quiet and so chill. My friend and I enjoyed our stay and slept with our tent open. Coming from the Joshua Tree desert, we get a lot of critters... not here. Besides a super friendly chipmunk, don't think it was Chippy but he was a fun little buddy to watch as he explored our space.

We stayed here for 10 days with our class A RV and had a great experience! The site was private, peaceful, and really well kept. Full hookups worked perfectly, and you can tell Leo takes pride in keeping everything nice and tidy! Site was spacious and had everything we needed! Leo was awesome- super friendly, easy to talk to, and always happy to help with anything we needed! Felt like we were staying at a friends and we were super comfortable! Weekend Trip to Vegas Glamping

What can I say to express how wonderful Vegas Glamping is??? Our stay was the absolute best of the best!!! We came to Nevada from North Carolina and wanted to stay at our new home away from home instead of going onto Las Vegas! The night sky was extraordinary with the most was beautiful view! Our tent was cozy, clean, and the bed so comfy…perfect! We loved grilling every meal on the fire pit…eggs, bacon, asparagus, steak, grilled cheese, and s’mores. We went “ATVing”, with Evalina’s husband as our guide, which was a blast. The scenery was amazing. It almost felt like we were in a picture book. Evalina made sure everything was perfect. She is a beautiful woman, inside and out!

I personally went for the views of the night sky, but found the views gorgeous 360° at all hours! Especially as the sun began to go down, the shadows gave a different perspective on the mountains. So each moment, I was in awe, at the beauty. The town is quite lively, even though it's advertised as a quiet town.
