We love to pass our free time here in the sunshine and juniper drafts overlooking the Sierras. Some days we watch the electric storms across the valley, other afternoons we picnic and nap while listening to the birds and wind. We love the peace and silence, which feels remarkably remote and only 20 minutes from Reno.

We would love to share our 12 junipered acres with nature enthusiasts like ourselves. Bring your tent or camper and spend afternoons watching beautiful sunsets and wildlife from our land. Spectacular expansive views across the valley to the Sierras and Mount Rose. Conveniently 15 minutes from South Reno (40 minutes from North Lake Tahoe), the silence and absolute privacy here are restorative and replenishing. We do not have trash collection services available and we ask all guest to practice a “leave no trace” philosophy.
**Because of extreme fire risk in our area we ask guests to refrain from having campfires for now. As this area is home to beautiful wildlife (and a few other distant homeowners) please visit with an intent to respect the quiet and privacy that makes this area so pleasurable for us all. With the help of my Father Steve, Sandy Gibson built the House of Gibson in 1983/1984. We are on one acre with an orchard, trees, and a pond. My parents (Steve and Sandy) passed in 2021; We are currently busy with restoring the property.

Thank You Christina. Though I had an Adventure getting there, it was Well worth it. The View is Spectacular. I should have taken more Pictures. Peaceful and Quiet. And not many People. New to RVing, and Retirement, And gaining experience Driving my Tacoma and 16 ft Trailer, cause getting there Tested my Truck, my Trailer, And Me. It was an Adventure. And really not that bad. Thanks again Christina. And will certainly visit again.

We loved our stay at Christina's land. It was easy to find with the directions Christina sent us and the campsite set up was great. We were on a long road trip so this was the perfect spot to stop for the night before we continued on. The views were incredible - we lucked out in having amazing clouds during the day, a great sunset and beautiful star gazing at night, couldn't have asked for more! It was very private, we never saw anyone other than some kayakers passing by, but it also felt very safe. It got very windy at night so be prepared for that and the beach down at the lake is very rocky but a great place to explore. We'd definitely come again!

Christina is very kind and was always attentive to any questions.
The place is easy to find by following the directions and Google Maps.
Once there, the view is amazing, and it’s also very easy to follow the hiking trail to the lake. We had an incredible experience!

Our site was great, overlooking Topaz Lake.
We made last minute reservations and Pam was on it, communicating with us, making sure we were greeted and that we had a great experience. They take great care of their guests and the property as well.
We booked it just as a layover, but will be back to make it our destination.

We booked upon arrival and tent camped for one night. We l thoroughly enjoyed our time. The bathrooms and showers were extremely clean as well as the entire site. We bought ice for $3 which was convenient. the site came with a fire pit a picnic table and hookups for water and RV electric hookup. We used the kayaks next day to enjoy the water before checking out. 10/10 experience

The lake was beautiful and our spot was nice and level for our van. It was crazy windy, so we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the fun amenities, but the shower was super clean and nice with lots of special touches. We would definitely come back!

We had a sweet and easy Saturday night in April as the only people here. We had a wonderful waterfront spot and enjoy skipping rocks and watching the pink sunset on the snowy mountains. Friendly host. All sites radically level. Very clean bathroom.
