Location, location, location best describes our beautiful 3.3 acres of privately owned land with a mix of meadows and trees with additional upper-level sites as well. Cyclists, SXS'ers or bikers can take off right from the front gate to The Center of the Universe (downtown Wallace less than a mile away) or out to the open trails surrounding Wallace in all its glory.
WHAT WE OFFER: 3.3 acres of mostly flat grassy meadow, trees, as well as a gravel/rocky, still-being-developed area; Lou's Happy Crapper containing 2 private toilets, 2 private bath/showers, and one sink; (As of mid-October the water system will be winterized, therefore no water, bath house or toilet facilities will be available, self-contained campers only until spring when weather permits) a central covered fire pit area, and all of it totally fenced.
WHAT WE DON'T OFFER: private firepits, power, sewer or water hookups.
WHAT WE KINDLY ASK: Please adhere to pack it in-pack it out practices (Please take all garbage with you when you leave). Leave the restroom area clean after use, including wiping down showers, and keeping toilets clean. Toilet paper and cleaning supplies are provided (any donations to the supplies or firewood is greatly appreciated and follows our "pay-it-forward" philosophy.) At this time, we do not have labeled sites and ask that we all respect the desire to have space between visitors. We have not determined a maximum capacity as of yet, but our desire is to keep it small so everyone can experience the peace and tranquility of the open wilderness. We are pet friendly and ask that you act responsibly and clean up after your pet as well as keep on a leash if they possibly will act out. Please keep gates closed at all times.

I absolutely loved staying in the A-frame. It was comfy and warm even on a chilly night. The shower/dressing room trailer was very handy. Having the creek right there is a bonus. Geoff is a very gracious host. I'd definitely stay there again!

We enjoyed our 4 night stay here in September. Lots of level parking available. Had the place to ourselves for 2 nights, then one night a van, another night some tent campers. All were very quiet.
We loved how close to town we were, but it was so nice and quiet out here. Beautiful stars at night!
Only downside was the bathhouse was occupied by some creepy crawlies that we didn’t want to share with, so we did our own sponge baths behind the trailer instead.
All in all, very quiet, safe and pretty place to hang out in Wallace.

Absolutely recommend staying at Achin' Ass Acres!! We really appreciate having a bit of our space, vs packed in like sardines at RV parks. The shower after a day of riding was wonderful! Louie has always been very responsive to our questions and gives great directions. Can't wait to go back next year!!!

I lived in rural Idaho for 15 years and this is Idaho meets old school Jackson, Wyoming vibes. The fire pit is covered, huge, and amazing! Bring your own wood! Louis was great with his instructions and we were able to easily access, very clean, restrooms, shower, and bathtub even! Very good hot water, great place to pull up our camper van and spend a wonderful evening and morning! We woke up to a male elk courting, we heard the call and also heard the female elk reply, amazing vibe! No light pollution, the stars were amazing, perfectly quiet, great night sleep, would stay again!

2 nights at Sanctuary Farm Yurt Glamping
We loved our time at Sanctuary Farm. The farm itself is on a private road, off a minor country road in a heavily treed area - The drive there is spectacular. You know you are in for something special! The yurt was placed well away from the owner's home, which gave lots of privacy and the night sky is DARK, so perfect for stargazing. The composting sawdust outhouse was a short walk from the yurt & surprisingly pleasant - no odor or flies and plenty of ventilation. 1000 times nicer than a port-o-potty. The solar heated camp shower provided by the host worked great. Just be sure to shower in the evening after the water has had all day to heat up! The optional breakfast was delish - definitely worth the cost & we ate out for our other meals, so never used the outdoor kitchen. We enjoyed our time here & would definitely recommend it to others seeking a stay off-the-beaten path.

We were happy to have somewhere to rest our achin asses after biking the Hiawatha! This AMAZING property is just down the road from the RV park in town (plus way quieter, more private/fully fenced, and a way better value) with clean flushing restrooms, a huge fire pit, and tons of space to spread out. Can’t wait to come back!

This a charming site to camp. It's just a couple minutes to the town of Wallace & near several trails. The site itself is clean & cozy, the bathrooms are well stocked & have both a shower & a tub. There is also a large gathering area with a nice sized fire pit & lots of wood. The site is rigged with small lights all around the public areas to make it easy to see where you're walking at night. The fenced in space is ideal for dogs or kids. Overall a lovely space.

Great hideaway!!!! Away from town but close enough at the same time. Was able to take our Razor right from our site. Peace of mind having a locked gate. Loved having the bathrooms that were clean. The owners are great people, loved chatting with them. Need to come back to enjoy the amazing fire pit.
