Welcome to our property!We have 400 feet along the Yellowstone River and that just about says it all. We have two RV campsites on our property and on Hipcamp. Only one other RV campsite 60 feet away. We are only four miles to downtown Livingston and 39 miles to the entrance of Yellowstone park . We have an airstream on the property that is for our own personal use and is not for rent.Please keep in mind that you must have your own self-contained RV to stay with us, there is no tent or primitive camping. A large mudroom/gear room/laundry room sets the stage for your endless adventures in the Cooke City - Silver Gate area. We've done our best to set the kitchen up with everything you could need to make most standard meals - pots, pans, baking sheets, and coffee supplies. YOU WILL NEED YOUR OWN MILK/CREAMER, which you can get at the Sinclair or Cooke City General Store, a 3-minute walk away. Sugar, spices, and cooking oil on hand.
For dining out, Cooke City has several summer restaurants. Easy to get basic provisions at The Sinclair and The Cooke City General Store - actually, you must visit the General Store, it's AWESOME! You can make a full meal from what they offer, but for more variety, shop in Cody, Livingston, or Gardiner before arrival. We keep cooking oil and spices at home.
Whether you are renting to work remotely, need a basecamp for a month of wildlife viewing, or want to provide your family with a unique summer experience, this house will cover your basic needs with ease - shelter, kitchen, internet, and a shower.
WE DO NOT HAVE A TV.
THERE IS NO CELL SERVICE IN COOKE CITY and many places in the park and to the east into WY. You will want to use "calling over wifi" to make phone calls when you are in wifi, and using this option, your phone works as normal.
NO SMOKING NO PETS
We built this with our own hands, just the two of us! Thousands of hours of sweat, sometimes tears, a LOT of hard work, long days, missed skiing, and sacrifices. This is our home away from home, and we hope you treat it with love and care so we can enjoy the newness of it too :)

I really enjoyed tent camping on Maile’s land! (Despite the wind being a butthead lol) It was such a nice quiet spot right next to the river. Super peaceful! I think we only saw like two cars drive by on the nearby road. The fire pit is HUGE and it was great to have access to the provided firewood. I woke up super early as the sun rose and all I heard was the river flowing and the birds chirping. My dogs also LOVED it and the close access to the river meant they could fish for sticks 🤣 overall, a great experience! Maile was great with communication and super friendly. Would definitely recommend this spot to others!

2 nights at Yellowstone City Guest Ranch
Five stars doesn’t even feel like enough for this place. The cabin in Paradise Valley was everything I could’ve hoped for and more. The host was incredibly responsive from start to finish, and every detail was thoughtfully communicated, which made the whole experience seamless.
What really made it special, though, was the setting. The “music” of nature out there is something else—quiet, grounding, and unforgettable. And the night sky… absolutely unreal. I’ve never seen stars like that before.
This was one of those stays that sticks with you. I’ll definitely be back.

The directions are accurate but finding the pull off was a bit difficult. It is before the bridge; don’t cross the bridge it is behind you.

Amazing site! Very private, pull through that has plenty of woods to block the road (rarely saw any cars). Beautiful spot in the woods with a wonderful fireplace. Close to Chico hot springs but far enough away to think you’re the only ones out in the woods. Would definitely stay here again!

This was our first time at Pine Creek Lodge, and we had the best time. The vibe is amazing – laid-back, welcoming, and full of good energy. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly nice and helpful. We arrived a bit early after a long drive and probably looked a little lost, but the staff didn’t miss a beat. They made us feel right at home right away. It’s the kind of place where you can instantly relax. Highly recommend – can’t wait to return!

The Ellison ranch is the epitome of hipcamping! Big ranch, lots of space and privacy. The dogs so enjoyed it!! They also loved when I would get in the river with them for fun :)

The sights around the area are spectacular not to mention the wildlife!! Do not miss Natural Bridge Falls. It isn't far away at all. The drive alone is spectacular!
I rode my bike for 13 miles from the ranch down a forest road and it was breath taking. I really enjoyed my time in Big Timber as well. I love small towns where people are polite, helpful and friendly.
If you have an rv, Big Timber Tire has an rv dump even after hours.
