The tipis are equipped with a queen-sized air mattress and bedding, a power box and lighting and a table and chair. You have access to picnic tables, a fire pit and a good selection of yard games like croquet and corn-hole to name a few. The acreage is surrounded on three sides by Ashley Creek and boasts a unique covered bridge and awe-inspiring grandmother Willow trees. Beautiful downtown Kalispell is an easy 10-minute walk. There you'll find local breweries with live music, a local ice cream shop, a variety of restaurants and shops. Parking is not right next to the tipis, but we have a wagon to help get your things from your vehicle to your tipi. Under the bridge is where you'll find our games, including croquet, badminton, Frisbee and Frisbee games, Bocce ball and Wiffle golf balls and clubs. We also have extra bedding and air mattresses in a secure chest. Remember that you'll be camping in a field. We've done our level best to keep the tipis clean and clear of pests, but it is a natural environment, so there is a non-zero chance that you'll run across some dirt, grass, thistles, or a multi-legged friend. You might even get an unwanted gift from a bird. If any of that needs to be gone, you can access a broom and leaf blower on the bridge, or you can find one of us on the property and we'll take care of it for you. Thank you for your understanding!

The Mooseshroom is an awesome camping community that is just 7 miles from the west side of Glacier National Park. Community fire pits near the Commons are a short walk from whichever tent spot guests are assigned. The Commons also houses the bathrooms and inside/outside kitchen areas. There is plenty of seating, hammocks and picnic tables for guests to use as well. We also have two yurts available for booking on our property. The Mooseshroom is a licensed business that is limited to hosting 18 guests per night. Guests should expect a quiet, peaceful camping experience with plenty of room to enjoy their surroundings. ***This property is adjacent Highway 2 and there is a fair amount of road noise. I very much enjoyed this site. It was nice to come back from a full day in Glacier and have a comfy place set up for you. The yurt was very comfortable to stay in and had a cute little electric fireplace. As a matter of fact, if you like a soft bed, it was the most comfortable bed I've slept in in ages. The cot is less comfy, but an extra camping pad makes a difference. Pro: The host was responsive. Port-a-pottys were clean, in general. (see the con) Con: No potable water on site (pack it in) and you can hear the highway (not too busy). The port-a-potty was not full but it must have sat there awhile due to being off season. Should be good during normal touristy season. :)

Weekend Trip to North American RV & Yurt Village

Great place to stay! We went with the yurt, and it was very clean. The facilities were also cleaned early every morning, which was greatly appreciated. The road noise and trains can sometimes be a bit much late at night, but that is no fault of the property owners, nor is it isolated to this one lodging location. Everyone along this main road will deal with the same, so bring earplugs! Huge bonus is that this place is right outside Glacier NP, so it saves you a ton of time instead of driving from Kalispell proper.

We spent 3 nights in the yurt here. It rained quite a bit and the temperatures got pretty chilly, but the yurt had an electric heater, that kept us more than comfortable. 2 adults, 2 children under 10 and our dog. We had plenty of room outside to cook and hang out. The yurt was thoughtfully arranged to feel plenty spacious and comfortable for the 5 of us. You cannot beat the location of this hipcamp. We spent 3 days in the park, but it is conviently close to Kalispell and Whitefish as well. We will definitely stay again.

We loved our stay in the tube site! It was perfect for us, since we flew in and didn’t want to travel with much camping gear. Plus it’s bear proof! The on-site mercantile had everything you might need, including coffee, bear spray, solar showers, and firewood. Jake was super accommodating and even heated up water for our forest shower a couple of times. The location was also perfect for accessing the park, and we enjoyed free coffee (with our own cup) each morning. We recommend Josephine’s for dinner just down the road.

Weekend Trip to Willow Bridge

This was the perfect little place to crash after a late plane ride into glacier! The tent was spacious and neat, and even though it was chilly at night we stayed perfectly comfortable with the bedding provided. The area was beautiful and Sara was an excellent host, making sure we had everything we needed. I also agree with the other guests-this was the most immaculate porta potty I’ve ever used.
