This site is perfect for those wanting to explore Downtown Helena, it's renowned trail systems, but still sleep under the stars.

This 53 acres use to be owned by a guy named John Helberg which is who the road is named after. It’s the original homestead land dated over 100 years ago where they farmed for there dairy cows and other livestock.
This is right off a dead end road. You will have a view of a Montana farm field with the Rocky Mountains in the background. Dark nights out of the town means the stars will be out and about! This is a quiet secluded area there is a house near by, he is an older gentlemen you won’t even know he’s there.
Depending on time of year there will be a field full of crop or the farm getting farmed. There very well could be some horses near by to pet!! Located 10 minutes from the lakes. 5 minutes from a reservoir. 10 minutes from town. 15 min to closest hiking areas. Helena really is the heart of fun very centralized for all directions of fun! Very easy pull in and pull out area. Please not there may be other campers enjoying as well

We loved Boulder Creek Lodge! The campgrounds are beautiful, and we wished we could have stayed longer. You're nestled between hills of trees and a river, not too far from the town. The site had electric and water hookups, and grey water disposal. There are tent sites neighboring the river. I was able to walk my dog along the walking trail and by the river. And it was all really well kept; the campgrounds and bathrooms were clean. The customer service was very helpful, and made us feel very welcome and safe. We got a list of places to try and a local newspaper. If you like meat, I recommend getting the homemade burritos from them! We'd love to come back and spend more time. We'd definitely recommend to family and friends.

We had a beautiful time at this rv park! The golf course is right behind it so we got to watch people tee off. There is a super long, beautiful paved walking/biking path that runs for miles right behind the park as well. The bathrooms are spotless with ample room along with the showers. Amanda the manager was very accommodating and friendly.

Karen and her son Cameron were very gracious hosts; giving us a great tour and discussion of the buildings and property. They have done a nice job with the overnight accommodations we got to see. We were there with our class c motorhome; we had electricity, no water or sewer. We visited ghost towns all around the US and this is one of the better ones. Now I am a skeptic when it comes to ghosts, but we had an unusual experience that we can’t explain!! You should plan a stay here right away!

Was close to the road to the lake and there was a fair amount of traffic heading that way. Down by the lake was a dump station ($5). Also only 15 minutes to Helena. There is no water and the RV spot is not level but workable. besides a tiny rental home you get it to yourself. Oh but there is a trail cam on the tree by the RV spot so no peeing on his trees. We had a great overnight stay at Boulder Creek Lodge! The camp site was easy to find and navigate.
The site has amazing shower and toilet facilities that were very clean and great to use. The site has all the camping amenities you require, water, electric and sewage hookups.
They also had a leisure room with pool table and table tennis, which was great to relax in the evening!!
A great camp site and would definitely stay again!!
