The Mooseshroom is an awesome camping community that is just 7 miles from the west side of Glacier National Park. Community fire pits near the Commons are a short walk from whichever tent spot guests are assigned. The Commons also houses the bathrooms and inside/outside kitchen areas. There is plenty of seating, hammocks and picnic tables for guests to use as well. We also have two yurts available for booking on our property.
The Mooseshroom is a licensed business that is limited to hosting 18 guests per night. Guests should expect a quiet, peaceful camping experience with plenty of room to enjoy their surroundings.
***This property is adjacent Highway 2 and there is a fair amount of road noise. There's also a train that's fairly close. The noise kinda comes with the territory, guests are also 10 minutes from the west entrance to the park. The noise does tend to subside considerably at night, but for those bothered by this type of noise, you might consider an alternate location. Most guests are truly fine with it.

Though this is a new listing on Hipcamp, I've been hosting on another platform since 2017 with consistently stellar reviews. I’ve decided to switch to Hipcamp because it seems like a better fit for my low key, rustic offerings.
My one acre property is located in a quiet neighborhood surrounded mostly by uninhabited lots. There are two wall tent listings, and the kitchen and bathroom facilities are communal. I also live on property with my two dogs. Daisy is a pit mix and Frodo is a Pyrenees/Anatolian mix livestock guardian dog. They are friendly and like to hang out in my fenced backyard. Frodo does bark at night to ward off bears and other unwanted visitors. There is also a train nearby that runs all hours of the night. If you're looking for lodging in Coram, you're going to hear the train. For these reasons, earplugs are provided.
In addition to hosting Hipcampers, I'm a host on Workaway, and so there may be workstay volunteers on property as well during your stay. If so they also use the bathroom facilities but they share my outdoor kitchen with me. I'm in the process of developing the property into a permaculture homestead, expanding my garden, and doing more natural building projects. If you share these interests be sure to let me know!

Terri’s place is amazing! She has a lot of nice amenities (Kitchenette, outdoor cooking area, clean bathrooms). My friend and I spent four nights tent camping and felt so safe and cozy. A few notes for anyone reading:
-there is a train that goes through at night but earplugs will do the trick if you’re a light sleeper
-the kitchenette has plenty of basic spices and condiments for shared use + coffee and teas.
-we has tent spot 1 which was perfect with our car, 4 person tent, and small table with chairs.
Someone else in the reviews mentioned the common area and bathrooms are a far walk from the campsites - this is false. They are ~ 100 steps away. So basically the equivalent of a longer driveway.
Hot tip - Terri has a recycling bin that you can pull from for kindling - the newspaper and toilet paper roles are the perfect combo to make a great fire!

Terri is an absolutely incredible host. The Mooseshroom Yurt that my mother and I stayed in was immaculate. From the attention to detail, to the comfortability, to the support on our stay. We loved every minute of time here.

Weekend Trip to Glacier Glamping
Dan’s plot of land was absolutely incredible! This was our first Hip Camp experience and it did not disappoint. The shared spaces were wonderful. The tent we stayed in was perfect-sturdy, clean, well insulated, quiet, GREAT location! 10/10 recommend!

This is an amazing place to stay! Terri is exceptionally kind, the sites are nice and clear, it's super close to the West Glacier entrance, and the bathroom & kitchen area are so nice. If you forgot to pack anything, you'll find it at the commons - from hot sauce to bear spray. I didn't think the trains would bother me, but I did pick up a cheap paid of foam earplugs & that solved that issue easily. If you get the chance, you'll love staying here!

Great accommodations if you're visiting Glacier as it's less than 10 minutes away. The front desk and grounds staff were very friendly, the yurt was clean and comfortable (#3), and it was really great having 24/7 access to the lounge and laundry. We'd definitely stay here again!

Upon entering Firefly Horse Co, we were greeted by the site of all the friendly goats, chickens, and HORSES! Julie's property was immaculate....each site set up with fire pits, picnic tables, and portable trailer with shower and toilets. Very Nice. The facilities were extremely well kept.

With pets
Able to pull our 36 foot Class A in easily. Right next to the main road for easy access to all the activities the area has to offer, it is a busy road so there is road noise. Friendly and helpful host :) Yes I would stay again!

Julie was such a wonderful host, and very responsive to all my messages. My daughters loved the farm and interacting with all of the animals. The horse riding experiences were top-notch. I would highly recommend.
