Good location to west glacier park, all set to welcome, the only issue is be aware for the trains pass all night and day close to the site with a lot of noise.

The tent site and camp area was great, exactly what we needed. Unexpectedly, there was a train that was quite loud and ran all night long. It woke us many times. But the site, outhouse, and accessibility can't be beat!

Private oasis

This rv site was the perfect home base to explore Glacier National park for three days. It was private, quiet, and had everything we needed. It was separate from the tent sites so we never even saw another soul. Ronald was such a good host. He even helped us out by lending us some supplies when we were having issues with our truck. The communication was almost instant whenever we needed anything. I will definitely be returning to his property next time I’m in the area.

This was the perfect base to explore Glacier National Park. It was private and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. The hosts went above and beyond to welcome us and even help us out with some supplies when we had issues with our truck. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Perfect getaway for us!

We are Whitefish locals who were in search of a last minute spot to camp nearby as we still have work and things to take care of in the day. We wanted something within half hour of home that was private, and it fit the bill to a T. It’s difficult to navigate where to go in the dark, as we arrived later than expected. But our host saw us driving around in search of our site and came to the rescue quickly and guided us to it. Firewood was easily available at the entrance for $5 and there was a nice ring, table and huge areas for camping. Would be great for large groups! Outhouse was nearby, spacious and clean. We didn’t get to enjoy it as much as we would like with our daytime responsibilities, but we were very satisfied with the campground and what it offered. We are used to the trains near us in WF, so it didn’t bother us- if you’re sensitive to trains the entire areas campgrounds and parks would be a problem.

Nice spot near West Glacier. 3 tent spots and 1 rv spot. New outhouse and gazebo. We had the isolated rv spot. Really nice folk own it. There is road noise. It is a former bear park. Neither of those things bothered us. But if they might bother you , look elsewhere.

I LOVE this place. We ended up booking 3 consecutive nights separately because the location was so great. Close to park entrance and close to Whitefish as well. There’s a nearby pub called the Dew Drop Inn where we had a blast. Campsite was clean, private and easy to locate after a wrong turn in the dark. We will definitely be back!

Close to Glacier National Park!!

Perfect stay on Ronald’s land. 10 mins from the west entrance to Glacier and many restaurants and shops around! Bathroom on site was clean and the site itself was very nice. Only thing is that it’s quite close to the road and you can hear the trains coming in at night but if you’re a heavy sleeper like me then that’s no worry! Overall we had a wonderful stay and Ronald is a very kind and understanding host. We would stay here again if we are ever in the area!

Great spot close to Glacier National Park! FYI it is close to highway and train tracks so you hear traffic and trains. But they have a very well cared for property and hook ups so it was perfect for us and we would come again!

Ron was a terrific host. I was traveling alone this weekend to go to Under The Big Sky and my car was rear-ended on a rainy Saturday. I text Ron about it and he responded right away by checking on me and then made me a fire for when I got back. It was really kind of him to make the fire so I had somewhere dry and warm to go to after the accident. I stayed for 3 nights and everything looked like the pictures and description. You can’t beat the location for accessibility to the park! I highly recommend the Sunflower Cafe for breakfast just down the road. Overall, I highly recommend staying here!

Overall we enjoyed our stay at this campsite. The location to West Glacier entrance could not be beat. We found showers right next door which was nice. The camping spot was roomy but not alot of character. The host was nice and fairly accommodating. The out house needed better ventilation and there was definite road and train noises. For what we needed it worked great.

Nice Time Visiting

We enjoyed our time at this property. Very relaxing even though we were off the owner's long driveway, the site is away from the camping and cabin sites. A little road noise down the road and a train whistle I enjoyed, though my dog did not :) The outdoor amenities included a grain silo cut into a shade structure with a firepit - very cute. Would stay again.

This camp site was awesome. The location couldn’t have been any better for us. We were out all day and to be able to come back to a site that is close to the park but also town is a bonus. It is also extremely nice to have privacy, and this is exactly what you will have. You’re not on top of another campsite but it is nice knowing there are other campers in the area and you are not alone. Ron is very responsive and a wonderful host. We would definitely stay here again!!

The RV full hook up spot is a private and great location! It is about 10 minutes from West Glacier entrance! We really enjoyed our stay here. The traffic noise did not bother us at all. We would stay again!

Honestly nothing bad to say, the pit toilet is pretty nice the property is great it's private so you can't really notice any other campers fair pricing and it has firewood on site which is nice so you don't have to drive into town and it's all at a fair price the per night cost and the firewood great experience!

Great campsite! The bear cages at site 1 acted as a barrier that offered a good amount of privacy. There was plenty of space and the clean outhouse was a welcome amenity. My group actually appreciated the sound of the train going by every couple hours. Additionally, the location was perfect. We had sub 10-minute access to West Glacier and Hungry Horse. If you forget anything, there’s a general store right across the street as well. Lastly, onsite firewood was affordable and plentiful We’d definitely stay again!

We loved the spot. It felt like it was undersold and it over delivered. It’s super close to the west entrance, there’s water on site, a bucket provided. We were able to purchase firewood for 5$ a bundle on site. It’ll be the first place we look on our next trip to glacier.

It is in a very private setting. It is the only RV site and it is separate from all the tent sites. There are full hook ups. It’s very close to glacier national Park. There is a picnic table and a fire ring. All amenities are new.

Such a great site! The host welcomed us when we arrived, but then gave us our privacy throughout our stay. There was firewood for purchase near the water spout at the head of the camp. It's nice to be able to stay so close to Glacier but not be in a busy campground with a lot of other people. We enjoyed viewing the old bear cages and pool. The train came by periodically but we did not find it overly loud and slept through it easily (tent camping). We would definitely stay here again!
