This is a dog friendly park, please keep your dog on a leash and pick up after your furry friend. Recreation Opportunities Close to the RV Park. The RV Park is within a 15 minute hike of the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest. The Boulder Hot Springs is approximately a 2-mile drive from the RV Park where you can soak in their pools always heated with thermal water. Fishing access to the Boulder River is a short drive from the RV Park. Access to off road recreation is approximately 2 miles going north or south. Helena Mt. the capital, is a 40-minute drive. Butte Mt. is about a 50-minute drive where you can see all the historic mining era. Boulder MT (RV Park) is halfway between Yellowstone NP and Glacier NP. Wildlife is abundant with mule deer and whitetails. Certain times of the year elk hang out in the hayfields which are adjacent to the park. Views of the mountains are very nice. Explore the Ghost town of Elkhorn 12 miles away. The Boulder Valley is an agricultural landscape, and with that comes Mosquitos. Please be prepared to handle them mostly June-July.

Many birds migrate through here in the Summer time and are a joy to watch on bank of the river. There is a large fire pit on the property that may be used as long as it is not very windy out and you put the fire out after you are done. I will tell you that you cannot have a fire if it is too windy. The property is next to a property with horses and we have have few chickens that roam around our property. I do not want you on the property with dogs if they are going to go after the chickens or if they are obnoxious barkers. Of course reach out with any questions. We look forward to meeting you!

We loved the green tractor for pics! Waking up to the beautiful stream sounds was lovely. Holly is very communicative and helpful. The property is beautiful although I wasn’t sure where the property lines were so I hope I didn’t intrude on someone’s land. We missed the pigs though.

This was an amazing camping experience. We were the only campers so had the whole grassy area to ourselves. It is right on the river and there are a few other public river access spots nearby so we checked out all of them. We biked up the mountain and around town as well — there is a school playground a block or two away that my kids (ages 4-9) liked. The spot is at the end of a small town (Melrose)—so not in the middle of nowhere, just FYI. The piggies were the best part! They’re such funny creatures and we enjoyed getting to know them. Holly is such a nice person and obviously cares about her guests and pets! Definitely recommend.

This was an awesome spot to get away with the family. Holly was a great host and her property is top notch. Easy access to fishing and lots of activities, plus a great treat getting to visit the pigs. We had excellent cell service at the site and the town of Melrose had a few food options when cooking wasn't in the cardmla. Definitely recommend!!

This was great! I personally fly fish more than I should, and my wife is an animal lover! The best of both worlds! I’m surprised my wife didn’t try to steal a pig! Holly, the host, and her entire family were welcoming, friendly and fun to chat with! This spot is perfect! Highly recommend you stay in the Silo! As this is almost and exact half way point for a trip that we make often, we definitely will be coming back!
