Sites are small but allow plenty of space for smaller campers, vehicles, tents and all sites include a picnic table and access to a water hydrant! We do allow pets as well! An ideal location for those looking to explore all the Flathead Valley has to offer. The 1.25 acre yard is on the end of a normally quiet street. The spots are plenty shady and cool given all of the tree coverage in the yard. Spots are all fairly flat and the perfect sizes for a group of tents or a small camper and some vehicles. Between sites 2 and 3 are hammocks set up for guests to use. There is a playground near by across the street at the old school for kids to enjoy. ***At this time, THERE ARE NO TOILETS so campers must be self contained. Due to previous reviews, we are trying to make this even more clear. We expect to have a port-a-potty set up by summer 2026. We do now have hydrants for clean, potable water!!! We are working on getting more amenities to these sites in the near future. We do allow pets at this time but they must be leashed and looked after responsibly. There are other pets at this property as well as at surrounding neighbor's homes so please exercise caution and make sure pets are well behaved and polite guests. Thank you!

Though this is a new listing on Hipcamp, I've been hosting on another platform since 2017 with consistently stellar reviews. I’ve decided to switch to Hipcamp because it seems like a better fit for my low key, rustic offerings. My one acre property is located in a quiet neighborhood surrounded mostly by uninhabited lots. There are two wall tent listings, and the kitchen and bathroom facilities are communal. I also live on property with my two dogs. Daisy is a pit mix and Frodo is a Pyrenees/Anatolian mix livestock guardian dog. They are friendly and like to hang out in my fenced backyard. Frodo does bark at night to ward off bears and other unwanted visitors. There is also a train nearby that runs all hours of the night. If you're looking for lodging in Coram, you're going to hear the train. For these reasons, earplugs are provided. In addition to hosting Hipcampers, I'm a host on Workaway, and so there may be workstay volunteers on property as well during your stay. If so they also use the bathroom facilities but they share my outdoor kitchen with me. I'm in the process of developing the property into a permaculture homestead, expanding my garden, and doing more natural building projects. If you share these interests be sure to let me know!

These are newly developed sites (2021) nested on the back of our property about 200ft from our house on a dead-end road. We have rural neighborhood vibe, with a 2 mile scenic paved walking path nearby. We have newly planted trees and shrubs, so not much afternoon shade. With the open areas sunrises and sunsets are fantastic! Both back in sites are 40’ in length with extra vehicle parking available. Please confirm your measurements before booking. There is enough room to easily pull in and then back into your spot. Ideal for Class-A motor-homes, fifth wheels, tent trailers, travel trailers, pick-up campers and self-contained van campers. Additionally, 1 tent is allowed at each site. Because there are no bathrooms we are unable to accept TENT ONLY camping at this time. Both campsites have full hookups including artisan well water, septic, with 50 amp electric on site #2 and 30 & 50 amp electric on site #3. Garbage receptacle is located by the east side of the greenhouse. Plenty to see and do in the Flathead Valley. Lots of wonderful local restaurants, pubs, breweries and wineries. Tons of trails to hike, rivers to raft, lakes to boat and parks to stroll. We have a list of our favorites, don’t hesitate to ask!

What a PERFECT place for all of the many activities surrounding here! I ended up extending THREE additional nights. Less than 20 minutes to the west entrance of GNP. Several small towns within minutes to explore. Columbus Falls (Gunsight Saloon), Hungry Horse (see the dam), Coram (Paul Bunyan bar & grill) Fishing. Kalispell and Whitefish are also close by. The site is very close to fishing access on the Flathead River. Many restaurants, coffee shops and activities nearby. Safe location behind the owners residence made me feel comfortable leaving the RV and heading out to explore in my tow vehicle. Some road & distant train noise, but turn on a fan for white noise and it goes away. Easy in, turn around , flat camping spaces. I am here in “off season” and only one other camper is here. Even in busy season the sites are laid out far apart, that each site can have distance. Much better than a RV park. Open field, so solar is easy. Super quiet and friendly hosts!

Our stay was truly wonderful, and the view was absolutely amazing. The owners were delightful and incredibly accommodating. I wholeheartedly recommend this location; it is truly beautiful! We are eagerly anticipating our return next summer for a slightly extended stay.

4 nights at Deer Park

We found Richard’s RV site just as expected from his pictures and description. It’s was very pleasant to have a place all to ourselves and an added bonus to be greeted by his beautiful friendly dogs. We sat at the picnic table just under the trees and enjoyed the view of the mountains. His place was just 20 minutes to the entrance of Glacier Natl park where we spent 3 days. And we were also able to enjoy restaurants and live music in Columbia Falls at a fine place suggested by Richard. We will definitely plan to stay here again next time we visit the area.
