This land is a six acre slice of property that includes a meadow, wooded areas, a small pine forest, native stones galore, a steep mountain side, giant boulders, a wet weather stream and pond, and 2 old tin barns. From West to East, the property starts flat but then begins to slope upward as it runs from the base of Fitzgerald Mountain Eastward nearly to the top of the mountain. The former homestead was removed within the past 20 years, creating a fantastic spot for the campground. It is located a short distance from Fitzgerald Station, which was a well known stop on Military road (later known as Butterfield stage line) in the 1830’s. The camp is only 2 miles from historic downtown Springdale, which is an area undergoing exciting revitalization. A concrete trail is planned that will connect the camp area to downtown making biking to restaurants and pubs much easier in the near future. Fitzmo barn has a map where you can leave your mark by putting a pin in your hometown and signing the wall. Leave your brand's sticker on the wall so other bikers and hikers can find their way to your hometown spots. The barn has chairs for the fire pit area, and can also provide some shelter if it rains.Butterfield trail crosses the camp area adjacent to Fitzmo Barn. Head North on Butterfield to connect with blue and black trails including the “best trail ever” and fantastic views from the mountain top. Head South to connect with trails for all skill levels including a strider course for the kids at Bayyari Park. Bayyari Park is only 1/3 mile away and has public restrooms that I'm told "remain open until 10:00 PM year round unless there is extreme cold."The only neighbors of the camp have a small farm to the North, and their goats and peacock occasionally visit the camp’s Western field. Other than these neighbors, the area feels secluded, especially at the fire pit and barn area. Fitzgerald is a historical area. Fitzgerald station is nearby, and served as a stop on the Butterfield overland stagecoach mail route that was used in the 1800s. Downtown Springdale is 2 miles away, and the pubs and restaurants cater to bikers. A paved trail is planned for the near future that will provide bike access to downtown.*Note* Backing up to a turn around area will be required for exit from the RV spots.

Our road connects to an awesome mountain bike trail system - also a great area for hiking! - and we are less than 15min from Lake Leatherwood trails.
Located about 8 miles from Holiday Island, where there is boating, paddle boarding, and golfing, and 14 miles from Big Clifty, a local favorite spot for paddling, swimming, and boating.

Beautiful little primitive, RV and tent campground on Leatherwood Creek. There are plenty of things to do around here for kids, such as building fires and making s’mores, hiking, climbing trees, catching frogs and crawdads, fishing, and swimming. Located 5 miles outside of Eureka Springs city limits there you can find shopping, restaurants, nightlife, zip lines, mountain biking, horseback riding, and many other things. I am a stone throw away from Holiday Island city limits where you can find restaurants, golfing, walking trails, and the marina where you can rent a boat or just put yours in. There is a RV and boat storage facility on the property so if you like this area that much you can store your toys here and come back every weekend to play with them. I just got started on this new adventure so in the years to come I will be putting in water and electric hook ups, including a dump site.

Our road connects to an awesome mountain bike trail system - also a great area for hiking! - and we are less than 15min from Lake Leatherwood trails.
Located about 8 miles from Holiday Island, where there is boating, paddle boarding, and golfing, and 14 miles from Big Clifty, a local favorite spot for paddling, swimming, and boating.

Beautiful little primitive, RV and tent campground on Leatherwood Creek. There are plenty of things to do around here for kids, such as building fires and making s’mores, hiking, climbing trees, catching frogs and crawdads, fishing, and swimming. Located 5 miles outside of Eureka Springs city limits there you can find shopping, restaurants, nightlife, zip lines, mountain biking, horseback riding, and many other things. I am a stone throw away from Holiday Island city limits where you can find restaurants, golfing, walking trails, and the marina where you can rent a boat or just put yours in. There is a RV and boat storage facility on the property so if you like this area that much you can store your toys here and come back every weekend to play with them. I just got started on this new adventure so in the years to come I will be putting in water and electric hook ups, including a dump site.

I’m so upset I found this spot so late in the game. I’ve been driving between Chicago and Austin for years. Out of all the places I’ve stopped to camp along the way this was the most comfortable, convenient and felt safe at. I was going to camp in my car but Julie let me know it was going to be freezing when I got here and let me know about the A Frames. (Super cozy) This will officially be my spot moving forward.

We stayed for three nights in early December. The property is on a quiet road, yet under 15 minutes to downtown. Jason and Julie have created a full service setting, complete with toilets, showers, dump station, and water. We stayed at site 8 by the barn, which was perfect for our 27 ft rv, and nearly level. Bentonville enchanted us. As road bikers, we used the Razorback Greenway and biked from Fayatville back toward Bentonville (Fayatville is also a gem).
Jason and Julie were very easy to communicate with and incredibly accommodating. They went out of their way to help us with a something that could have been a challenge. They are great hosts. Recommend this location 100%!

Bentonville Bike Camp – Jason & Julie are lifesavers!
Our reservation with Koler got completely mixed up, and Jason and Julie at Bike Camp Bentonville truly saved the day. Their property is absolutely perfect—peaceful, well-kept, and thoughtfully designed. The facilities were spotless (the shower and bathroom were such a bonus!), and hookups were incredibly easy.
We genuinely enjoyed our stay and can’t recommend this place enough. Thank you, Jason and Julie, for turning our trip around!

When I arrived I was upgraded to a site that had a small privacy wall a couple chairs and some neatly decorated route 66 paraphernalia on the privacy wall. The RV park has full electric, water and sewer hookups on each site. There is a bathhouse that contains men's and women's bathrooms with showers and a washer dryer area for campers use. I must say the bath house was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The park itself has a New Mexico midwest vibe to it even though it's in Southwest Missouri. Would definitely go there again.

This was my second time camping at the host’s land, and it was another great experience. The campsite has a large open area surrounded by trees, which makes it both spacious and private. The host had firewood ready, which was a thoughtful touch. It’s become one of my favorite campgrounds in Northwest Arkansas, and I’ll definitely be coming back often.

Our two night stay was awesome. Even able to find our spot in the dark after visiting the museum and grabbing dinner in Bentonville. It had been raining several days before but the short section of dirt road was not terrible and the site was in great shape - just wet grass. Biking trailheads are close by and downtown trails (like Coler) a short drive. Showers were nice and hot and welcome after our ride. Late October so only a couple of other campers - very quiet nights! Definitely recommend and will stay again next time in Bentonville!
